The follow-up to Where the Blame Lies—Where the Truth Lives is a gripping, page-turning, romantic thriller that will leave you gasping for breath.
When the director of a local mental health hospital is found murdered and mutilated, Homicide Detective Reed Davies is first on scene. What was done to the body is gruesome. Inexplicable. But Reed is dealt another curveball when he finds that the … that the doctor who discovered the victim is someone Reed is intimately familiar with—a woman with whom he shared one passionate night weeks before.
Dr. Elizabeth Nolan is somehow tangled up in the crime, and even while Reed must now question her possible involvement, he can’t help being drawn to the beautiful, enigmatic woman.
As more bodies appear and the devious killer terrorizes Cincinnati, a shocking connection begins to emerge, one that not only involves Dr. Nolan, but Reed himself. A connection more twisted and elaborate than he can imagine. Now Reed must hunt the monster down, a killer who will stop at nothing to see his diabolical plan to its final, deadly conclusion.

Where the Truth Lives is the follow up romantic thriller to Where the Blame Lies. While this can be read as a standalone, you’ll recognize a few of the characters and know a little more of their history if you read WTBL, plus it’s also a really good book.
Where the Truth Lives sucked me in from the very first page and I couldn’t read fast enough to see what was going to happen next. There were twists and turns, as well as little details that I was trying to keep up with so I could guess the killer’s identity and the connection to those involved. Reed and Liz were both great characters. I genuinely adored Reed and thought he was such a wonderful man. He was so patient and understanding with Liz allowing her to take the time she needed for the chance of a future together. Liz desperately wanted to be strong, and having Reed by her side helped her realize “love heals.”
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the roller coaster ride of emotions it put me through. I successfully guessed some things and was a little surprised by others. Nothing is ever black and white as this book proves in the end. Also, it was wonderful to catch up with Josie and Zach again and see how their happy ending was just that, happy.
Reed is a detective with the Cincinnati PD and one night out with fellow officers celebrating he runs into a beautiful woman at the bar. They hit it off and she invites herself back to his place where they have a glorious night together. He keeps telling her that he wants more and doesn’t want this to be a one night stand but when he wakes in the morning she is gone. Two weeks later he shows to a crime scene to find that the person who found the dead body is his girl, Dr. Elizabeth Nolan aka Liza.
This book can be read as a standalone but it is better to read Where The Blame Lies first. That is Reed’s mother’s story and it gives you so much background into this one that I recommend that one first. And it was amazing so there is that. Reed is such an amazing guy. I really loved the relationships that he created, how amazing his heart was and how he always went above and beyond to prove that he is not his creator. I loved how he respected Liza and her issues but never treated her with kids gloves and let her decide how they were going to go forward. This book also gave me the justice that I was disappointed I didn’t get in book one so that made me happy. Overall this was a good book that I enjoyed, it just seemed to drag on forever. But if you read Where The Blames Lies you will really enjoy this book.
Mia Sheridan did it again with Where the Truth Lives, her storytelling in right on point as always. The details that she writes into her stories is incredible.
Technically this is a standalone but your reading experience will be so much better if read after Where the Blames Lies.
What a crazy story filled with suspense and mystery, while reading I was constantly evaluating my thoughts. This story had so many ups and downs, things happening that I didn’t even see coming! Reed and Elizabeth the main couple were such interesting characters. Too many great secondary characters to count!!
I was ecstatic that Josie and Zach and their 3 children played a big part in the story. Reed’s partner was so loyal to him like they were family.
So many things happened in the story that I want to tell you but that would not be fair for me to spoil the mystery.
The epilogue was incredible as always!! This is one that you will not want to miss.
I’m a HUGE lover of romantic suspense. I love the trill of the unknown. The discovery of secrets, the intrigue, those nail bitting moments. I just live for that rush. Knowing one of my favorite writers ventured into this genre was more than exciting to me. After finishing Where the Blame Lies, book 1 of Mia’s Where series, I was looking forward for more stories like this from her. She did an incredible job and I just wanted more. Thankfully we did get it.
“Somewhere in there, in the midst of all those twisted pathways and shadowy corners is . . . where the truth lives.“
Where the Truth Lives, book 2 was quite the ride and by that I mean it was phenomenal. We are talking about a murder investigation, crime scenes, twisting plot, painful disturbing pasts, serial killer and hot detectives. The connection between the details from book one to this story were unexpected and mind blowing. So well crafted and everything click at the end. We get to have closure for Josie and Zack’s story without taking away the lead story here that was Liza and Reed’s.
“Don’t deny your past, Liza. It’s not your shame to carry. Grieve it, and then use it to strengthen others. You made it. You’re here, and I have no idea how, but you are. That’s the story I really want to hear. Maybe someday you’ll tell it to me, because I’d like to believe monsters don’t get the final say.”
The love between the main characters and Liza’s past added the perfect emotional touch to this intense read. It grip my heart and made ache for the heroine.
The story started many years after the end of the first book.Reed Davies is the detective in charge of discovering who is the new killer leaving dead bodies all over Cincinnati. Dr. Elizabeth Nolan is the person to first found one of the victims and somehow is connected to all this madness. That’s the only clues I’m giving you guys about the characters. The stories are always MUCH better enjoyed going in blind.
If you love criminal investigation reads that make you work along side the characters to find clues and discover killers, you definitely will love this book. If you love reading about how twisted minds of serial killers work, you need this book. If you are a romantic suspense fan, you need this book.

WOW!!! Mia Sheridan has done it again!! She gave us another spectacular story. I will say Where the Blame Lies is still my favorite of these two books, but this one was just as gripping as the first.
As I said after reading WTBL, I think Mia has a fantastic future in this genre of books and I’ll say it again after reading Where the Truth Lives. Where her mind goes to create these stories is beyond amazing and even a little scary…. LOL 🙂
When I found out she was giving us another book based of Josie’s world from WTBL…I couldn’t have been more excited and to find out it based around Reed….I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.
This story had it all….it was dark, gritty, at times creepy, heartbreaking, and suspenseful. But this also had a love story that you couldn’t help root for. I will say I didn’t think this books was as tough to read as the first book was. This one wasn’t as graphic to me, which I was thankful for. But this book had me reeling right from the start. I absolutely LOVED how Mia connected these two books. I won’t say how, you have to unfold that for yourself, but just know you mind will be BLOWN!!!
I wouldn’t say this book is a standalone, because I really believe that Where the Blame Lies NEEDS to be read before reading this story. Otherwise things won’t make sense and there will be HUGE spoilers for book 1 if you read this first.
I truly can’t rave enough about this book. All I can say is READ THIS BOOK!! If you are looking for something that will keep your mind reeling and your heart racing this is the book for you. This book was phenomenal and so well written, you don’t want to miss it!!!
Wow!!! What a masterpiece of epic proportions Where The Truth Lives was. It was gripping, thought provoking, angsty and absolutely unputdownable. But I’ve honestly expected nothing else than pure perfection from Mia Sheridan. This incredibly talented author is one of my top favorites and in a league of her own. She always delivers a great story with depth, multi layered characters and a mind blowing and unexpected plot that will leave you breathless. If you enjoyed Where the Blame Lies then you will love the follow up Where the Truth Lives. They are interconnected in various ways only a mastermind like Mia Sheridan could come up with. I didn’t even dare to think for a second that I already knew on which path she will take me this time, because she always manages to surprise me and leave me with my jaw on the floor. And boy did she made me speechless! My feelings were all over the place. I felt so many things at once, happiness, sadness, devastation and hope. It was hard to handle them all at once. But this is what makes this author’s work so outstanding. The ability to make me reflect on things and people, seeing them in a different light, making me understand more than ever that not everything or everyone is either black or white.
When the director of Lakeside, a local mental health hospital, is found murdered and mutilated in a gruesome way, Homicide Detective Reed Davies and his colleague are the first on scene. When Reed is sent to interview the doctor who discovered the victim, he could have never expected her to be the beautiful and mysterious woman he shared one night full of passion with: Dr. Elizabeth (Liza) Nolan, the woman he can’t stop thinking about. While Reed is trying to figure out her possible involvement in the crime, more dead bodies will appear murdered in the same fashion. As the ruthless killer keeps terrorizing Cincinnati, a shocking connection will emerge that not only involves Dr. Nolan, but Reed himself in ways both could have never imagined.
I loved Reed Davies with every piece of my heart and soul. He was a loyal, compassionate and protective person who took his job very seriously. His intuition was remarkable! It’s how he knew from the moment he met Liza that she’s hunted by demons from her past. The way he was understanding, patient and supportive of her made my heart melt. He knew she’s a woman worth waiting for. In many ways, her strength and courage reminded him of his mother who survived unspeakable things but didn’t let them destroy her.
Liza was a wonderful heroine I absolutely adored! She had a terrible and traumatic childhood, but that didn’t stop her from becoming a psychologist and wanting to help other people. She wasn’t even aware what a warrior she was. All she saw was her weaknesses and shame. Luckily Reed will open her eyes and make her realize how much strength is inside of her! They complemented each other perfectly and shared such a deep and profound connection that was palpable on every page.
Let me warn you that Where the Truth Lives is not for the faint of the heart! This romantic suspense deals with a lot of heavy topics like abuse and murder. It’s the kind of book you read and know you won’t ever be able to forget! The impact of the story is just too deep. I can still feel Mia Sheridan’s words tattooed all over my heart and mind, the places where all our truths live. 6 stars for this top favorite of 2020!
Reed Davies did not have the most conventional entrance into this world. Born to one amazing, strong woman who survived against all odds after a serial killer held her captive and left her for dead. Raised by another loving family who have him everything he could ever need as well as the family his birth mother created it’s no wonder he turned out as well as he did. As a detective he fights for the ones who can’t fight for themselves, to give justice to the ones who deserve it and protect the innocent. When his one night stand from weeks before discovers a body at her place of work he is happy to see her again, despite the horror inflicted on the body. It seems that a new serial killer is on the loose and the connection to Liza is a strange as the crimes. In a race against time Reed does everything he can to solve this puzzle before the killer gets a way. I loved getting to know Reed and catch up with Josie and Zach as well as Liza and the strength these women have to survive and thrive despite the horrors they have endured.
I knew going into this book that Mia Sheridan would try to break me with her storytelling. But I also knew she would quite successfully make sure I was healed by the last page.
There are some crossover characters from Where the Blame Lies in this book, and while it isn’t necessary that you read that book to understand this one, I urge you to do so. If nothing else, Where the Blame Lies is a fantastic book.
Truth, as Sheridan shows, is neither pure nor unquestionable. Your truth may be my lie. What is important is to determine where the truth is coming from–where it lives. Do you think something is true because your life experience tells you it is? Is it because it’s what you want to believe? Or is it because you don’t want to look further?
Liza and Reed know their truths, as much as they can. Like an iceberg, though, there is the visible truth, and then there is the greater, more expansive truth that exists beneath the surface. As a psychologist, Liza understands the importance of delving deeper. Reed, too, understands this; it’s something he has to do every day as a police detective.
Watching these two rescue each other (and themselves) is both beautiful and nerve-wracking. Liza, in particular, has a heartbreaking backstory. Like Josie in Where the Blame Lies, she proves to be stronger and more capable of fully living than she gives herself credit. When she lets Reed in, it takes confidence in her truths.
I loved Reed and Liza, and I loved the twists and turns they go through. There is a part toward the end that feels a little drawn out and off-pace, particularly in a book that moves so steadily. There are also some deliciously hot moments that make you appreciate Mia Sheridan all the more.
Mia Sheridan’s books aren’t always easy to read because she spares you no pain. The beauty of her craft, though, is that she also spares you no amount of hope. You have a constant hope that she will show you goodness.

Where the Truth Lives is somewhat of a spin-off from Where the Blame Lies. In Where the Truth Lives, Reed Davies (Josie’s son) is grown-up and a detective with the police department. He knows about his past in regard to his serial killer birth father; he has established a relationship with Josie (his birth mother) and her family. Reed finds himself trying to catch a new serial killer in this suspenseful thriller. He must somehow figure out the connection between the victims and those who find the victims. At that the same time, he is trying to navigate his relationship Liza, who happens to also be tangled up in his current investigation.
Where the Truth Lives is hard to put down. Mia Sheridan really outdid herself with this story. It is creepy and you just know that somehow Reed’s past is going to play a part in the overall story. I would recommend that you read Where the Blame Lies before Where the Truth Lives so that you have the Reed’s background, especially with the context of his birth father. Even if suspense is not your usual genre’, I think that you will enjoy Sheridan’s book. Beyond 5 stars fir Where the Truth Lives.Mia Sheridan
This was an intense read that had me thinking and questioning constantly. Reed and Elizabeth are fantastic characters to carry this story. There are so many threads pulling all the pieces together. I loved the way the story and clues unfolded, constantly peeling back secrets and stories in the past and present.
Reed and Liza meet during what starts as a conversation at a bar, continues as an intense night of connection, and ends with Reed waking up alone. A one night stand wasn’t what he was hoping for, but it’s what he has to deal with. He certainly didn’t expect to run into her again at the scene of a grisly murder. But this one murder is quickly tied to serial killer and the details are enough to have Reed and his partner putting their all into finding the person responsible.
Reed is a good detective, honest and determined to do right. He cares about the citizens and looks at each case as a puzzle to solve, exhausting leads before discounting or proving them. His closeness with his family gives him the support he needs to face the darker side of his job. Liza is a strong woman, working to help others find their way. Her strength carries her through several harrowing experiences. She doesn’t have the close family ties that Reed has, but has had to forge her own way to where she is at now.
As a follow on to Where the Blame Lies, WTTL is fantastic. It continues the tension and suspense from WTBL and carries it forward into the future. The last thread of a question from WTBL is answered here and put to rest in a way that fits for all the characters involved and had me thinking about the contrasts and shades of grey throughout. But even though it is a follow on, it’s not a true “second book.” You could read this as a stand alone and not miss anything from this story. But I do think it stands stronger after WTBL because of what you learn about some of the characters before this story begins.
Where The Truth Lives is one intense ride you won’t want to miss! Reed and Liza’s story is an action packed suspenseful romance that kept me guessing from start to finish and devouring the pages. This follow up story to Where The Blame Lies just keeps getting better and better. Great book to get lost in as a standalone and even better if you’ve read Where The Blame Lies. Five Stars for more of Mia Sheridan’s phenomenal storytelling.
5 “love heals” stars!
I loved Where the Blame Lies , book one in the Where duet, so I couldn’t wait to start book two, Where the Truth Lives. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We get more of the much loved characters from before as well as wonderful new characters as we dive back into a world full of murder and mystery. It’s an addictive, thrilling, and unputdownable romantic suspense novel, and I loved it!!
Where the Truth Lives features Liza, the psychologist who finds the first victim in a series of murders, and Reed, the detective on the case. Liza is a survivor. She had a heartbreaking childhood but she is strong and determined to overcome her past. She is smart and wants to be the best psychologist she can be.
Reed’s own past has shaped him into the man he is. He is the epitome of a good guy. Sweet, kind, loving, loyal, and wonderful, he is everything his biological father wasn’t, and it was easy to fall hard and fast for him.
It was important to him to be noble, to protect, to rescue, to be a force of good in the world in whatever ways he could.
Weeks before the murder, Reed and Liza shared a one-night stand that was filled with chemistry and instant attraction. However, despite Reed’s desire for it to become more, it was only a night.
“Unseen sparks igniting in the air. God, it felt good. It made him feel alive, focused. He hadn’t been pulled to a woman like this in a long time, maybe ever, and he relished the feeling. Let himself fall into it.”
Then, the murder happens and Reed and Liza are brought together again, and while the case unfolds, so does a swoony-worthy romance. Their connection is present from the beginning but they take things slow as they learn to trust, grow, hope, and heal both individually and together. They accept each other for all they are and all they have gone through, and offer unconditional support and love. I loved the emotion I felt while their feelings bloomed and I was rooting for them from the start. They fit so well together with their believable chemistry, growing friendship, and the love they find.
“Love heals…Those aren’t just words. And I think acting in love doesn’t just heal others.
As much as I loved the romance, the story is on point when it comes to being a psychological thriller. It’s original, suspenseful, mysterious, complex, and unpredictable. You don’t know who the killer is and you start to question everyone and every move. Murders start piling up and you have no idea who is in danger as they try to determine how everything fits together. It makes you think outside the box when it comes the mind of a killer, and I loved the twisted nature of the story.
“There’s a whole cast of characters and they’re all playing roles for him.”
The killer is intimidating and scary. The character has a warped mind, and I loved seeing pieces come together as we learn more about the killer. The way the story unfolds kept me guessing until the very end. It’s intense, complicated, and riveting. There are connections you never put together and surprises that will leave your jaw on the floor. And as the ending neared, the suspense ramped up and my heart pounded as I nervously awaited what was to come.
The ending was so satisfying. It tied everything up wonderfully and I was happy with how things turned out. I loved getting scenes with the characters from Where the Blame Lies the relationships Reed formed with them.
Overall, Where the Truth Lives checked all the boxes when it comes to a well-written romantic suspense novel, and I loved it!! I definitely recommend it to everyone who enjoys the genre.
4 Stars!
Reed Davies is a homicide detective for the Cincinnati police department. His current case is trying to catch a psychopath that always seems to be one step ahead. The serial killer’s latest victim is discovered at a local mental hospital where he unexpectedly crosses paths with a gorgeous woman he spent an unforgettable night with a couple weeks ago. There was something vulnerable and captivating about her that drew him in, and he hadn’t been able to stop thinking about her.
Liza Nolan had a traumatic childhood that still haunted her. Her past had forever changed her, and she was still trying to cope with the memories that often still shook her to her core. She suddenly finds herself caught up in a murder investigation when she stumbles upon a dead body at work. To complicate things even more, she comes face to face with the beautiful, kind stranger she recently spent a passionate evening with. With a killer on the loose terrorizing the city, everything is uncertain and scary. Reed seems to be the only person who makes her feel safe. As their connection grows she begins to see how strong she is, and realizes that maybe it’s not too late for love.
Where The Truth Lives (Where, #2) by Mia Sheridan is the follow up to Where The Blame Lies. This is about Josie’s biological son, and we get some more of Josie and Zach too. It’s an emotional, suspenseful story about tragedy, murder, mystery, and love. A romantic, mind blowing, chilling, intense thriller that will leave you speechless!
5 Don’tstopdon’tstopdon’tstop Stars
It’s been 24 hours since I’ve finished this book and I’m STILL reeling from how it ended and everything that happened before the heart stopping conclusion. This book starts off in a way that is heart wrenching and filled with moments that had me in tears and my stomach clenching.
When we first meet Reed and Liza it’s literally a night that neither can forget and because of who they are never think their paths will cross again, although one of them would’ve liked more… when they’re forced together because of a murder where Liza is a Psychologist, everything changes. Not only for the roles they play in trying to figure out the who’s and why’s of this murder and those to come, but who they are as individuals.
This book takes us on a wild ride with characters that are strong, fierce, independent, loyal and needing love and healing. While the investigation takes so many twists and turns, we’re delved into a labyrinth of evil that had me glued to the pages of each chapter as little details are discovered and revealed. During the entire investigation, Reed and Liza’s feelings grow and a love is starting to build that neither was expecting and while they’re scared, they know they need to believe in each other in order for their love to withstand what is coming down the pike!!
There were moments in this book that had me gasping out loud and cringing with my heart beating out of my chest. The element of suspense is incredible, and not once did I have any idea of how this was all going to play out and end. And that ending….HOLY MOLY!! Ms. Sheridan has written a book that will grab you from the very first page and when it’s all over, not only will you have a feeling of immense gratification for how it ended, you’ll have a smile on your face because of how Reed loves Liza!
This was such a freakin’ amazing read! I was absolutely riveted from the first page and couldn’t bear to put it down!
“He wanted her heart, and he didn’t know if she was ready to offer him that.”
Reed Davies is a hero for the ages. Born of evil but living a noble life. He is strong, perceptive and intuitive, but also sensitive and protective. I swooned hard for this guy! When an unforgettable one-night stand becomes key in a murder investigation, he can’t help but be drawn to the beautiful Elizabeth AKA Liza Nolan – a complicated woman with a horrifying past.
“He cared about her. He did. And she shouldn’t be happy about that, but she was…”
Although Elizabeth has clearly overcome her terrible beginnings, she’s still haunted by the past and dealing with deep issues. She knew Reed was different when she first met him but his patience, understanding and belief in her gets past her defences. And, let’s not forget the electric chemistry between them!
“Tenderness blossomed inside him. She was so beautiful and so afraid, and a protectiveness he’d never experienced before gripped his insides.”
Gaaah! My heart! This novel was a fine balance of romance and thriller. There was so much beauty amongst the horror depicted. Liza is one hell of a strong woman who has risen above adversity and shows us how an incredible and unexpected love gives her even more strength to do what must be done. And, Reed is one hell of a guy. Who else could be more suited for Liza than he? He had a wealth of understanding and he thoroughly proved himself to be worthy of her.
I just felt so much after reading this story. The intricate plot, the amazing connection between Liza and Reed, the dynamics between Reed and his family and his work partner – all of these things contributed to a Top Read of the year!
Another fantastic book by Mia Sheridan that took my breath away and left me jaw-dropping. She has such great power with words that it made me feel every moment of tension, anguish and pain. There were moments when I had to stop reading, go for a walk, drink water, take a deep breath and count to three to immerse myself in the plot again. OH MY!
Where The Truth Lives is the sequel to Where the Blame Lies and should be read in the correct order even though telling the story of different couples. The book begins by showing Lisa and Reed’s past so that we can understand where their trauma comes from.
Lisa is a psychologist at a hospital where a hideous and macabre crime scene takes place. She is a mysterious and lonely woman who carries strong pains from a suffering past that she has not yet managed to overcome.
Reed is an honest, hardworking and extremely loyal detective brought up by a loving family who did everything they could to keep him from being traumatized by a tragedy from his past.
Both will find themselves involved in a string of crimes that will put Reed’s entire jurisdiction on alert.
Of course, if we’re talking about Mia Sheridan, we’re talking about intense romances with beautiful happy endings. But in this work, the writer went further, bringing great hot moments and a puzzle filled with seemingly nonsensical clues that with each piece delivered left me more perplexed, confused and maddened to discover what was behind everything and who was the murderer and of course cheering for this cute and lovely couple.
The title and cover match well with the vibe of the book and accurately convey the right message about the plot
I would like to thank the writer immensely for the way she built the ending. What a wonderful ending! Everything was there, all the elements worthy of a perfect suspense romance and an incredible closure for the duology. There I go to dive into another literary hangover ….
OH MY GOD !!!!! I only say one thing: if you like this style of romance, READ … just read it and you won’t regret it.
6/5 stars
*4 – 4,5 stars*
I always love a good suspense book and if it’s being written by one of my favorite authors is even better! I gotta mention that I haven’t read book one yet but as I could follow it didn’t matter so you could read it as a standalone although I think it would be best to read the first one first.
This book left me guessing until the end who was responsable for everything that was happening and it unfolded nicely. If you love a good suspense read, this book is definitely for you!
Reed is a homicide detective that is trying to solve some murder cases but there seems to be no leads that could lead them in the right direction. When he and Elizabeth (Liza) first meet, there’s an instant attraction between them and they end up having a one-night stand but that’s all that there seems to be to it. Both have a horrific past that they they’ve slowly overcome and seems to draw them to each other. But both their pasts seem to somehow creep back into their lives but also in Reed’s professional life that might not only put Liza at risk but also other lives in the process… Will they uncover the truth?…
4.5 stars!!
Ok so if you read “Where The Blame Lies” then you are prepared for this book (if not I think you will be missing the big picture). Going into this book I didn’t even realize who the main character was. And then it happened. As this book went on I devoured these characters. Mia has a knack for playing up the hero and the villain. Then there is that shade of gray area, I tend to love the gray characters. The ones who are evil yet somewhere in there is a broken souls trying to do the best they can. Bravo Mia, you pulled it off.
I enjoyed the keep on your toes approach with this book. There were twists and turns that kept me guessing throughout. There was a part in the second half of the book where I literally yelled out “no way!”. I will say though a little while before that part it felt like it was dragged out but it picked right back up.
If you are ready for some killer characters, crazy plots, twists that will drive you crazy, back story’s that make you cringe, and a side of romance this is the book for you!!
**I received this book as an ARC and in return gave my honest review**
Life certainly can run in circles. The cause and effect that exists between events that shape our lives can lead us down uncharted paths. For Reed – his one-night stand would become front and center when he began a murder investigation at a hospital. The doctor that found the murdered individual was none other than Liza.
As the intricacies of this murder start to unfold, Reed can’t help but to find himself drawn to the woman who seems to be at the center of the investigation. Secrets begin to unfold that connect Liza and Reed to the case in more ways than one. What will Reed uncover as his investigation takes him through the darkness?
Where the Truth Lives is the latest release from Mia Sheridan, and it will definitely have readers ‘talking’. This book has all the elements of a romance, but that genre is combined with a thriller that will leave you guessing about the plot with each turn of the page. A novel that reads like a true crime documentary. I recommend reading Where the Blame Lies prior to starting this book. Some of the elements that crossover will be confusing without that connection.
While Where the Truth Lives is not the traditional romance you expect when hearing Mia Sheridan’s name. Tackling the thriller or suspense genre is something that I believe we will definitely see more of from Sheridan in the future. Add this novel to your collection today!!

Oh my word!! This story is soo dang good!! It is so captivating, so thrilling, so exciting, so intense! Perfection!! Absolutely loved it!
“”Somewhere in there, Reed, in the midst of all those twisted pathways and shadowy corners is . . . where the truth lives. Find that, and you find them.””
Spectular thriller !! Very highly recommend!!
