Where The Little Birds Go was a story that stuckrd me in from the start. Told in past and present Duel POV this author sucked me into the world of these characters. They both had their flows that we see (and some won’t agree with) but I couldn’t help but love them because of those flaws.
I really loved that we got to see Corbin in the acting role. It was amazing, made the book have 2 romances that I wanted to see play out and just hooked me. There is a cliffhanger but there isn’t a super long weight for the next book so dive into this book. It’s beautifully written, had amazing chemistry and characters that were easy to connect with. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen. 4 stars #2OCCJD
Where the Little Birds Go was an amazing Hollywood slowburn romance full of so much angst and emotion that I couldn’t help but fall slowly right alonside these two incredible characters. The storyline was forbidden yet so heartgripping that I felt every emotion-filled moment until the last page.
Kinley and Corbin began their journey as best friends and I loved watching their relationship develop from the hopeful stirrings of first love to the subsequent devastation of its loss. Years later as their paths crossed again I was filled with so much hope that perhaps their story could have a new chapter. One of my favorite things about how this author develops her characters is her ability to draw me in with characters that are flawed, real and utterly relatable. I may not always like them at all times but boy do they stir up my emotions.
Beautiful and heartgripping Where the Little Birds Go was a riveting read that left me questioning my morals yet hoping for love to win out in the end. My heart was torn and Kinley and Corbin’s story hurt but the journey was worth it and after the jaw dropping ending I am anxiously waiting the rest of their story.
This is one of those books that leave your heart troubled and pulling out your hair as you wait for book two.
There is so much pain and heartbreak in Kinley and Corbin’s story. But the love was also present and evident which made the pain bearable.
The couple started off as childhood sweethearts that turned into strangers. Fast forward a few years, Kinley is a famous, published writer and Corbin is the actor.
After all these years can this couple still work? Do they know each other as well as they thought they did?
The characters grew, each on their own, throughout the story and it was marvelous to read this growth. This story is beautiful and the writing flawless.
Thank you B. Celeste for this art.
I can not wait to see where Kinley and Corbin’s story goes after that ending.
Where the Little Birds Go is the first book in the Little Bird Duet and it offers readers an insight look into the complicated past and present of Kinley Thomas and Corbin Callum. Their love began to blossom back in high school, and as the years passed them by they lost touch but neither one of them ever stopped loving one another. Their story was definitely controversial, one made for the headlines…I mean it is a HOLLYWOOD scandal after all. As their love affair grows into something more, neither one of them could have truly known the pain that was about to destroy them all over again. Will these two ever get their happily ever after or are they destined to never be…
B. Celeste is an author who enjoys toying with her readers heartstrings. She is what I like to call an evil woman who pretends to be all sweet and innocent, but the moment you turn your back on her she STRIKES and suddenly you find yourself overwhelmingly flooded with emotions. The kind of emotions that you never knew you could experience all at the same time. I knew going in that this story was going to end in a cliffhanger, but I NEVER anticipated how insane the wait was going to make me. I am in deep agony over this wait and I need the conclusion to this duet, like you know…YESTERDAY!
Have I been living under a rock? I mean, that’s the only explanation I can possibly think of for not reading B. Celeste before now. It’s a fact though, that from here on out I’ll be reading anything she writes.
There’s something about first love that just tugs at my heart, especially when it’s experienced at a young age. I loved that we got chapters from the past in this book. Reading about how Kinley and Corbin fell in love as teenagers was both heartwarming and painful, but so real. They both have dreams, Corbin’s is to become an actor and Kinley’s is to become an author. But once those dreams come true and take you away from each other though, what happens next? Can love survive, or not?
It’s been years since Kinley and Corbin have seen each other. Both accomplishing what they set out to do when they were younger. The once inseparable duo are now complete strangers. And things will most definitely get complicated now that Kinley’s book is being turned into a movie, and Corbin is one of the actors that’ll be bringing her work to life. And while working together memories from long ago resurface and undoubtedly also the what if’s.
Where the Little Birds Go punched me right in the feels. Kinley and Corbin’s story is anything but easy. It’s raw, but also beautiful. The story between these two had me feeling everything. EVERY. SINGLE. EMOTION. I need the next book—I can’t wait to see where Kinley and Corbin’s story goes after that ending.
DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
Omg! I’m dying with this cliffhanger! B. Celeste has penned an emotional, all-consuming, angsty tale of secon-chance love that has ripped my heart wide open. Celeste’s writing is crisp and clear and lyrical all at the same time. Her stories flow beautifully sweeping the reader from one point to the next and before you know it, the book is done and YOU NEED MORE! These characters stope my heart. Corbin and Kinley were perfect. I felt their joy. I felt their pain. I felt every tender, breath-taking moment of their journey. I can not wait for the conclusion of their story. I NEED IT RIGHT NOW!
I’m in love love love with this duet!!
I haven’t read too much Hollywood, movie star type romances and was really intrigued going into Where The Little Birds Go. I love the buildup of the friendship turned to lovers turned to disaster and angst. Everything that seemingly goes right ends up taking a hard turn, leaving Kinley a heartbroken, aspiring writer and Corbin an actor (and asshole) with different priorities.
I need more from this couple!! I NEED MORE BARB WORDS. BECAUSE HER KILLER LINES ACTUALLY LEAVE ME SLAYED AND SHOOK. Wow.
B. Celeste is continuously surprising me with her creativity and skill in crafting a complete story!!

Where the Little Birds Go Book 1 Little Bird Duet
B. Celeste
5 Stars
This story does end in a cliffhanger so just be prepared! But besides that… this book is fabulous!! Amazing! Full of realistic emotions!
“We’re inevitable, Little Bird.”
“A blank notebook for the start of something new, because our story isn’t over yet. Fly with me, Little Bird. ~Corbin”
Highly recommend! I am really needing book 2!!
B Celeste has such a way with words that just captures you and won’t let go until the end. This is book one in The Little Birds Duet and I can’t say how much I love it.
This is told in duel POV’S, past and present. The words just flow. Corbin and Kinley fall in love as teenagers and both have dreams of the future. Each fully supports the others future dreams, but those dreams break them apart only to later pull them back together later.
The emotions in this book are so real, you feel the heartbreak, anger and love. It ends on a cliffhanger and my anticipation of the next book is off the charts.
Don’t miss this emotional, heartwrenching love story.
I love this author. This book blew me away. I absolutely adore the characters. There’s nothing better than a good slow-burn romance. There is a huge Cliffhanger at the end but hopefully we won’t have to wait long to find out what happens. This may be my most favorite book thus far. I highly recommend you take the time to read this book.
B Celeste is an author that I can always count on to make me feel whether it’s sadness or happiness she always delivers. Silly me didn’t realise this was a duet and I’m now a mess waiting for book two.
The story is told in dual POVs and dual timelines and even though we go back and forth between them the story flows and is easy to follow. Corbyn and Kinley friends, high school sweethearts the other half. When promises are made then broken how do you recover and what do you do when you meet years later and nothing has changed. Even though we know how they met and broke apart I still feel like we have just touched the surface of both them as individuals and their relationship. The ending is a doozy that has so many possibilities for the next book that thankfully is coming soon.
This is an amazing second chance romance. Book one of a duet we meet Kinley and Corbin. We get glimpses of their past through Kinley’s eyes, as well as their current situation from both POV. These characters are captivating. The writing pulls you in. A great read, can’t wait for book 2.
After each book that I read by B. Celeste I fall more in love with her writing. Where the Little Birds Go consumed me from the start. I laughed I swooned and then in true B. Celeste fashion she took my heart and crushed it in her hand midway through the book. Kinley is smart quiet and just focused on her classes and writing her stories. Even though her family sees it as a hobby for her she doesn’t let that deter her into stopping. Until Corbin enters her life. Corbin the cute hottie senior who all the girls want. Their dynamic and relationship sucked me in and I wanted to know would they become more than best friends what’s going to happen if Corbin makes it big in acting? I can’t wait for Where the Little Birds Are because this book has left me with so many questions and I need answers. This book is amazing and I cannot wait to read more on Corbin and Kinley’s journey.
You’d think I would get used to Barbara slaying my freaking soul with her writing.. but NOPE. Here I am. Suffering alone. Needing book two because I won’t be able to think about anything else except WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?!
This story is one of those books that leave your heart hurting. There is so much pain and heartbreak in Kinley and Corbin’s story. But there was happiness and that’s what makes it Hurt so much more. There was soooo much happiness and love.
Once childhood sweethearts, now complete strangers. Kind of. Do they still know each other after so many years?
Kinley is now a famous, published writer and Corbin is the actor that is going to maker her work come to life.
I can not wait to see where Kinley and Corbins story goes after that ending. This book was so raw and beautiful. Broken and bruised. The characters have grown and flourished but not together like it should’ve been.
ONCE AGAIN, BARBARA WRECKED ME.
There are not enough words to describe how much I love B. Celeste’s writing, and this book is no different. Her books are forbidden romances with flawed characters. Her books are angst ridden reads. She writes stories that draw you in from the first page.
This is the first book in the duet. The second part of the duet Where The Little Birds Are is releasing very soon.
This is a Hollywood romance between the lead actor Corbin and the author Kinley who wrote the book turned into a movie. No one knows that they used to know each other, and was together in high school. There are flashback scenes that tell what happened, and why they are reuniting nine years later.
Kinley and Corbin’s story is a slowburn and it is full of angst. It will make you want to scream at them over and over. You will fall in love with this couple.
I cannot wait for the second part with the way this one ended. I’m so glad there isn’t long to wait.
I definitely recommend everyone to read this book if they love an angst filled, forbidden, slowburn.
I received an arc of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was fantastic!! This was the first book I have read by B. Celeste and it won’t be my last. I was unable to put this book down. Corbin and Kinley were born to be together but their careers keep them apart. Can they find their way back to each other. I read this book in two days, I was unable to put it down. I needed to know what became of them. The ending makes me want more. Pick this book up you won’t be disappointed.
I have no idea why I am constantly surprised by the power of B Celeste’s words with each new release! After reading quite a few of her books, you’d think I’d know by now that her words have the power to silence my own words and cause my emotions to flow wildly. Yet, she does it. She still kills me with her words and I still end each book shocked by the emotions seeping from me. I’ll say this…I hope it always stays this way. She writes the type of books that I love. No matter who the heroine or hero is…no matter the plot theme; they feel like some of the realest books that I’ve ever read. Sure, every now and then I love the romances that seem perfect from start to finish; h meets H falls madly in love and they ride off into the sunset together. Those are never the books that stick with me. They are never the ones that sink deep into my soul and create a lasting mark that means I’ll always remember that book and how it made me feel while reading it.
The love portrayed in this book isn’t perfect. It’s heartbreaking and real. Dreaming together and pushing the person you love to accomplish their dreams is what you’re supposed to do with the love of your life….RIGHT? What happens when those dreams take you away from each other though; are you supposed to give up and just walk away or do you dive right back in and fight? In a world where people give up one or the other because they don’t know how to have them both or if they even can. So they make a choice, thinking what they chose is the best one…but what if it’s not.
The story between these two had me feeling everything! EVERY SINGLE EMOTION!
As I was reading this book, I could feel every word pouring into my heart and making itself at home there. Her words have a way of pulling you in and making you feel as if you’re part of their world. Like you’re a random person walking down a busy street, sitting in a lobby or clearing dishes while watching a scene wrap up right in front of your face. I had to take breaks to adult more than I would have liked but I made sure every 5 minutes I had free; I immediately immersed myself back into this world.
I hung onto every single word and when I hit the last page….I took a deep breath and logged another FAVORITE read into my mind.
I can’t wait for you all to meet Kinley & Corbin.
Oh, my heart.
This was the sweetest, most painful, most delightful, heartwrenching, heartwarming, sucker-punch-in-the-gut book I’ve read in ages. Celeste always draws me in with lyrical prose and then rips out my heart, stomps on it a few times, dips it in sugar, and then shoves it back in my chest… except this time, my poor battered heart is still floundering somewhere on the ground because I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE SECOND BOOK.
This is a beautiful, raw story about real, ugly love. It will break you. Even with dual timelines and POVs, it flows smoothly and is impossible to put down. The characters are masterfully crafted (it’s not even the main focus of the book, but I feel like I’m going to lose sleep worrying about Corbin’s dad– even the secondary characters are important to me now) and I have never wanted some Twizzlers or purposely vague tattoos more in my life.
I’ll just be over here, weeping quietly in a corner, waiting for book two if anyone needs me.
This was the first book that I read from B. Celeste and man was I missing out. This story was so heartbreakingly beautiful and incredibly sweet. I was invested in these characters and their lives from the first page and I can’t wait to see how their story ends
I really enjoyed Corbin and Kinley’s story! While I have read each one of this authors books, this book was was very enjoyable, it just wasn’t my favorite. I do love all of these authors books.
