Life it seems is hell-bent on crushing Eva Chapman. Starting with the tragic loss of her brother, for which she is solely to blame, to the unfortunate turn of events that have landed her where she is now; on her knees, hiding behind the counter at a hole-in-the-wall bookstore, in a small town in the middle of nowhere, with local police in hot pursuit. This was not the life she’d imagined for … herself. And no amount of imagination or self-destructive behavior could ease this pain. Running is all she has now.
Fresh out grad-school, psych-degree in hand, and here he is manning the local coffee-shop/bookstore in his hometown of Pride. Rafe had never felt more a-drift and confused. The truth is, he’d never really thought this far ahead, and until his sister returns from her post-2nd-divorce-meltdown-vacation this will have to do, that is, if he can survive the boredom. He did kind of enjoy the relaxing tourist vibe and routine flux of interesting local eccentrics in and out the shop every day, but it was the gorgeous hot mess that just dove over his counter that really caught his attention!

As usual the Jill Sanders book is one you won’t want to put down. Eva’s a great character and her story seems so real. The story of Rafe and Eva leaves you wanting more.
Short but sweet
After the last book of the series I was left wondering who our hero may end up with. I mean we are running out of single 20-somethings in town.
Little did I know Jill had the perfect solution! Inject a new out of towner! Eva is the perfect addition to the clans of Pride Oregon!
This is a highly entertaining, sweet, quirky, fun, emotional, short on time but no less engaging reading experience. I loved this romantic journey Eva is sexy, sweet, lost and has a heartbreaking story while Rafe is sexy, charming and feeling adrift since his return home until Eva crashes into his life and stirs things up for him. Loved it.
Another fantastic addition to the Return to Pride series. The characters are so real and lovable. The relationships are something to envy.
Eva has been running for the last year. She ends up hiding from the police behind a coffee house counter in St. Helena. Rafe can’t believe there is a beautiful woman hiding behind the counter. He isn’t sure what is going on, but he intends to find out. Rafe is just filling in while his sister is out of town and this is the most interesting thing to happen. Eva isn’t going to tell anyone who she is. She is sure her parents are trying to find her and quite possibly the law. Can Rafe convince her that she needs to confront her past and then stay with him?
Another great book by Jill Sanders! This one might be my favorite of the series. Eva Chapman has been on the run for almost a year since she lost her younger brother. She usually sticks to larger cities so that she can blend in and be ignored, that is until she finds herself hiding from the police in a Pride, Oregon bookstore. Rafe has just graduated grad school with a psych degree and is running his younger sisters book store, she left it in his hands after another failed marriage. He is well and truly bored until a woman jumps over his counter and hides behind it.
Rafe and Eva are so great together. Rafe sees that Eva needs help and offers it to her for nothing more than her honesty Rafe helps Eva work through her issues to help her move forward from her brothers death and her self imposed isolation.
If you love short, sexy stories with a little mystery this is definately the book for you.
I really enjoyed Where I Belong by Jill Sanders.
Eva has been on the run for over a year after a life changing moment. She ends up in the small town of Pride and right into the arms of sexy and sweet Rafe. Will she be able to overcome her past and move forward?
This is such a great book!
I truly enjoyed reading it!
It is an engaging, sexy
& moving story.
Eva, finds herself in Pride, after
emotionally being on the run for a year.
She quickly tucks into a store, to avoid being asked any questions, by an officer.
Rafe, is very surprised to find someone hiding in his store, He felt drawn to her.
He knows there is more to her story,
then Eva, has let on. Rafe, is back in Pride,
helping his sister out. Ready to take to next step in a career, after graduating. Then Eva, walked into Rafe’s life.
Another great book in the series.
I loved everything about this must read story!!!
Grief can be a devastating thing to endure and I truly loved watching Rafe fall in love with Eva and his gentle, yet strong, approach to help her thru her grief was awesome. Loved this book!!!
