From the author of Where Good Girls Go to Die, comes the second book of the Good Girls Series that readers are calling “everything you could possibly want and need in a romance novel that sucks you in cover to cover.” -Enamored Reads Nothing good came from listening to my heart. It was careless and irrational and became way too invested when I read a romance novel. So I put her under lock and …
So I put her under lock and key.
I only had a few rules, and I always stuck with them.
1. Never get attached.
2. Always run before the feels become contagious.
3. No matter what, under no circumstances, never fall in love.
He was a playboy who ran by the same set of rules.
What we had together was fun, it was hot, and it was temporary.
Until he screwed everything up.
We were never meant to be each other’s happily ever after, but the harder I tried to push him away, the further I fell.

I am Team Maci all.the.way! Holly has a way of luring you in with her words. Her stories are real. What the characters say and feel are relatable because that’s what a real person would say and feel.
I love Staci and her badass self. She doesn’t trust easily and has walls and rules for a reason. And Mason!? That bad boy can just mosey right on over here to mama. Together they have the push, pull, push, pull, aaaaaand push and pull that creates serious angst and heartache throughout most of the story. I was gutted when tears fell and “Can you just hold me tonight?” was all she could say. All she needed to say. Because this is Mason we’re talking about. He gets her!
While I absolutely loved this story, how hot & sexy it was, and how quick it moved, I felt myself wanting to know more. More about her past. More about his past. I did read the previous book and loved it, but as a book that states it can be read as a standalone, I sometimes felt lost. I wanted to go back and re-read WGGGTD just as a refresher. I think a little more character depth and background would have helped.
Book 33 towards my goal of 240! 5/5 stars for this adult romance read! Ugh this series is great so far! Love the characters. Love the stories. The covers are gorgeous! I loved the male narrator for this book in particular. I’m a sucker for dual POV romances! This one is steamy! Highly recommended if you need a quick romance read!
I enjoyed the characters and the story. Fun book to read.
It’s been almost a year since Where Good Girls Go To Die. I was afraid I wouldn’t remember what went on in that book! But, nope… everything came flooding back once I started reading the book! And just like the first book… I totally devoured this book! This was a super fast read!
I absolutely loved the beginning of this book! Staci sent something racy by mistake to Mason and pretty much got the ball rolling with things between them.
“I may not have been the most wholesome girl around, but I did have standards. And fucking my best friend’s brother was one of them.”
I loved Mason right from the beginning! He was funny and charming… with some bad boy qualities. In the beginning Staci and him had the same motto. Only sex, no feelings or relationships.
Staci changed who she was because of her past. This new Staci reinvented her self into someone that was untouchable. She never wanted people to see her as weak. Just someone that’s always in control.
“Staci wasn’t easy. She was a wildfire. Fierce and destructive.”
This book was good I loved how it just flowed from the very first page. I absolutely love the little surprise we get from Parker and Livy in it! The only thing I was kinda looking forward to was and didn’t get was Staci past.
The whole thing with her ex I felt was a little anticlimactic. I felt the way she was hiding herself and the way she was with men. That it should’ve been a little more detail. It just felt off almost. I was expecting a little more from it. I thought the ex would’ve played a bigger part in this book. Other than that. I would totally recommend this book to everyone!!
I can’t wait to read the 3rd book in this series!!
*ARC provided for an honest review*
I loved Staci and Mason! This book was hot and heavy from the start. They had amazing chemistry and both had trouble getting away from their player ways to make it official. They were just perfect for each other even with all the baggage that came along with them!
Another great book of this series.
This one is about the badass Staci and the amazing Mason. {Swoon}
At the beginning I thought Mason is going to be an AHole, but he turned out to be sensitive, caring, protective and hot as hell
Staci the badass tattoo artist is everything I thought she would be, and more. Underneath all those walls and barriers there’s a wounded, romantic soul who just needed some TLC
And Mason is the man to do it!
Loved it sooo much!
Also loved the glimpses on Livy and Parker’s life and their love story.
Their friendship as a whole group is incredible !
Staci Johnson is a tattoo artist who loves her romance novels but doesn’t necessarily think that she will find her own true love due to her past. She is content with various no strings hook-ups and keeps her personal life and past as far away from everyone as possible and doesn’t let anyone in, even her closest friends Olivia and Brandon.
Mason Connor has a reputation as a playboy and is the brother of Staci’s best friend Olivia. When Staci accidentally sends him a picture meant for someone else things begin to heat up and Mason isn’t ready to hear no from Staci.
Yet after one night together Staci decides they can only have a friendship but how far will Mason go to prove that they have something more than just a friendship? When Mason begins to get to close will Staci open up to him or will she do the easy thing and run?
This was a great book with a few surprises that I didn’t see coming to keep me on my toes!
I really liked Staci but you could tell she was afraid of relationships and letting people get close to her. At a certain point you learn more about what Staci is running from after a conversation with her dad but you still don’t know everything that is involved.
Mason was a great character as you know about his reputation but at the same time you could tell that he was a good guy and would do anything for those he cared about. That was evident in the first book with everything that happened between Olivia and Parker. I loved when we met Finn and his relationship with Mason!
The chemistry between Mason and Staci was through the roof and I loved the events after Mason’s tattoo!! I thought it was hilarious when Staci told Olivia and her reaction! I also loved Mason’s groundwork for friendship and how he was gradually wearing down Staci’s walls. The motorcycle part was awesome but from there everything began to fall apart and I truly felt bad for Mason.
I was proud of Mason for coming clean about how he felt but then when I discovered what was happening with Staci back in her hometown I felt bad for her. Yet at the same time I was a little upset at Staci for not letting Mason or even Olivia know what she was actually going through.
I was a little worried about what was going to happen in Vegas but I was super happy for Olivia and Parker and I was glad that Mason and Staci put everything aside for them. I was glad when Staci finally opened up to Mason and let him know what she was going through.
I was super happy at the end and I am so happy the way everything worked out and I can’t wait for the next one!

What’s this book about? (I’m trying to give as little spoilers as possible)
Bad babe Staci has rules. She never breaks them. She has her fun and eats her cake, too. When an accident makes her take a second look at her best friend’s brother, the bad girl begins her fall.
This was my second Holly Renee read. Again, I loved the cover! WHAT A BEAUTY!!! I began it right after I finished book one of the Good Girls series! I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!!! I couldn’t stop reading, page-turner style. Staci captured my attention in book one already and I can hereby confirm that her book was just as entertaining. I was pleased with the fact that there was no repeat of ‘UR MY BEST FRIEND’S SIBLING; SO TABOO!’ from book one. In book two, we dealt with the STEAM! Staci and Mason’s start was HILARIOUSLY HOT. My only issue with the second story was the lack of backstory treatment – in book one, it felt deeper with the past chapters. I hated Ben with my all and I can say that I was triggered by him. People like him exist. This ain’t a cheap trick. The short introduction to her past in the latter part of the book made me curious. I bet that Holly Renee would’ve made it fascinating and worth it. Plus, it would’ve added more length to the book WHICH I WOULD’VE SWOOPED UP because I love this series.
While reading the final chapters, I wondered whether the author did this on purpose. Sometimes, I feel tired of authors playing up women’s victimhood. Perhaps the author wanted Staci to be more than just a victim, so she didn’t play up her past too much, instead focusing on Staci’s present with Mason. Therefore, I still give 5 stars. I see no reason to give 4 stars. I’d read it again. I’m having way too much fun with these books! *I just noticed that I haven’t mentioned tattoos at all. They play a big role in this series. I like the mood that they help create.
I recommend this anyone who loves reading strong leading ladies that are sexually liberated, the joys of sexting and a cute guy next door that challenges our tattooed lead.

Holly Renee managed to completely blow me away with this beautifully breathtaking story that wholeheartedly captivated my every thought and emotion. Mason and Staci’s chemistry quickly captured my heart and held on tight as they took me on a rollercoaster ride full of twists and turns. The angst surrounding their romance was extremely intense and I found myself on the edge about to topple over as I devoured every poetic word the author wrote!
Where Bad Girls Go to Fall was a story so unexpected and yet I couldn’t imagine Mason and Staci being any other way. Their witty banter had my heart swooning in overdrive and I couldn’t get enough of them, so much so that I devoured their story within only a few hours. This story was addictively heartwarming and they were a perfectly matched couple, even if it took some people a little longer to see it. This story was the perfect addition to the Good Girls standalone series!
**Spoiler Alert**
I fell in love with the first book as well as the characters and didn’t think the next book would compare to the first one but I was wrong. I fell even more in love with these characters.
Staci is in a world of hurt. She has secrets that will haunt her for the rest of her life. One night stands is all she will ever have. Ben her ex, hurt her to the point where she ran…. Ran from her father and the only home she ever knew but at the time she didn’t realise that she was actually running to her forever future some years later.
Mason, Liv’s brother is an outright man-whore. He doesn’t do relationships. He has been with so many woman he has lost count. A text that he could only assume was in error but a pleasant error, has knocked him on his ass. It’s a photo of the perfect woman. Her body is pure sin, tatts and all. He has to have her…. is it an infatuation? Hell if he knows… All he knows is, he needs to feel if her skin is as soft as it looks… does it taste as sweet as it seems?
Staci cannot believe she sent a photo to Mason of all people… Why didn’t she check before sending the damn photo? My mamma always told me…. “Things happen for a reason” O boy what a way to go down…. Or up in this case 😉
Staci will never trust her heart with another man ever again but there is something about Mason that makes her feel safe… she can finally let her guard down? How will he react when he finds out about her past? It’s a secret she has never shared not even with her best friend Liv…. Only time will tell.
Mason is devastated and he wants to hurt someone bad… If he even lays eyes on the man, he will kill him for ever hurting her.
There is a ton of story here… a MUST read….
Get them tissues ready…
Holly has once again written with flawless perfection. The story line is well thought through. The characters with their duel P.O.V is once again phenomenal. You cannot help but laugh uncontrollably. When I read….. “I could probably find Atlantis before he found my clit” I almost died from laughing so hard. My partner thought I was crazy… I just had to read that little bit to him where he then also laughed his ass off.
This story is filled with pain, heart-break, laughter, love and overwhelming passion. An epic love story of two people meant to be…
I must start off by saying, that I am so glad that I took another chance on Holly Renee after reading Where Good Girls Go To Die, the first book in this series. This interconnected standalone was much better than the first. As I previously stated in a past review, I really enjoy Holly’s writing style. I was much more in-tune with this book, I read it in one sitting, The chemistry between Mason and Staci was explosive and made this book an easy read for me.
Staci is your bad*** heroine. She is super sassy, and what you see is what you get. This brilliant tattoo artist is one who never gets attached and lets other parts of her body do the talking. She is loyal to a fault and such an amazing friend.
Mason Conners is a man whore, who enjoys a single night with the ladies. This Construction Owner, has an easy going personality with a sense of humor. He enjoys the simple things in life like his family and his friends, and the wind on his face,
This Dual POV features the forbidden. Chemistry with your best friends brother. All it takes is the wrong text ,to the wrong person to get things heated up in Where Bad Girls Go To Fall. Can Mason live up to Staci’s romance novels? Can the past stay in the past?
This lighthearted read you do not want to miss.
*I recommend this book.

I freaking loved this book!!!! I was so team MACI! I enjoyed this book as much as I did the first book in this series, and both this book and the first book are definitely worth reading. They can be read as standalone reads but they are simply amazing books and I highly recommend both. This book started off with laughs. I loved the texts between Staci and Mason. The moments between them were sweet; especially the movie night moment, it was both sweet and funny. I enjoyed the friendship Staci had with Livy. Those two girls were a trip and will have you laughing and smiling while reading this story. Mason was perfect in all the ways that count and I enjoyed his and Parker’s friendship, along with Drew and Nate’s. I also enjoyed Staci’s father. There were definitely a few surprises in this story and this is one story that will leave you happy. This book is one for all romance readers. It will not disappoint! I can’t wait to read Where Bad Boys are Ruined. This is one author that I will not hesitate to purchase a book from because I truly enjoy her stories that much.
Another great read by Holly Renee – a must read
I loved their story. This series is fantastic. I love these characters and I can’t wait to read Brandon’s story next.
Charlie’s dream of owning her own bakery is finally becoming a reality. She’s always been unique and marched to the beat of her own drum with the support of her parents. And, her awkwardness takes complete control anytime her tattooed, bad boy neighbor and owner of the building she is renting walks into the room.
Tattoo artist, Brandon, doesn’t ever fall for the girl next door type . . . until he sees his new tenant. She’s gorgeous, sweet and quirky. Definitely a bit too innocent for him, yet he can’t help the jealous streak that has him constantly sticking his foot into his mouth whenever she is around.
They may be complete opposites, but sparks fly any time they are together. But, will misunderstandings shake their newfound trust and end their relationship before it really has a chance to begin?
I’ve really enjoyed Holly Renee’s Good Girls series and Where Bad Boys Are Ruined was no exception. There is something about watching these alpha tattooed bad boys fall madly in love with the women of their dreams afer being completely knocked on their buts by them!
Brandon falls so hard and so fast that he doesn’t even know how to handle the feelings he is experiencing. It is cute as heck trying to watch him keep his jealousy in check as well as keeping his foot out of his mouth every time he opens it. Charlie is sweet, awkward and completely adorable. She has no idea to handle Brandon, yet can’t get into David, the nice guy option who’s interested in her as well.
Where Bad Boys Are Ruined was a really fantastic opposites attract story. Overall, it was a light and easy read with enough drama to keep things interesting. A bay boy tattoo artist and a cute as pie baker really can find a happy ever after in the most adorable of ways. 4.5 stars.
Listen. I think this author is becoming another author that is going on my auto-buy list. Holly heck. I read this as soon as I finished the book that preceded it (very unlike me). I just had to have Staci and Mason’s story. Somehow, I knew these two would find their way to each other.
I just can’t with these two. They are such fun characters. Both players. Both always aloof. Both never one to settle. With two characters like that, you have to know that it’s going to be an instant win!
This book is H-O-T! It’s not over the top hot (yes, that is possible). It is just right. These two together will definitely fog up your windows. The sexual tension can be cut with a knife. And then that tension snaps, it is off the charts for these two.
Like the first book in this series, I devoured this book. I read it in one sitting. I found myself smiling and cringing throughout this book. These characters, broken, yet put together at the same time. Complex, yet straightforward. This book is the perfect tug and pull right until the end!
OMG! I love Staci and Mason. I was so intrigued by Staci in the first book of this series and I wanted to understand her more, so of course I was super excited to get her book next. But holy hell I was not prepared for Mason.
First of all let me say that the beginning of this book was so damn funny. The whole reason for Mason and Staci to have any type of interaction was the best. Mason made no secret about how much he wanted her. As much as Staci likes to stay detached it was impossible once the thought of sex with Mason entered her mind. He never tried to force her to tell him about her past or judged her in any way. He accepted her the way she was and held her on a pedestal. The chemistry between them was explosive and before she knew it Staci was falling in love with Mason.
I can not begin to explain how much I enjoyed reading this book. I loved how they each got to truly know one another and once Staci’s past is revealed, I just wanted to hug her so hard. WBGGTF has far surpassed the first book in this series. I definitely recommend.
I do like both Mason and Staci as characters but other than them taking their time admitting they wanted each other, there wasn’t much turmoil. I hate to have to compare it to the first book but there just wasn’t the same heart aching angst as the first. I do like the author’s writing and cannot wait to see what she does with book three.
I really enjoyed the second book in this series by Holly Renee, it picked up perfectly from the second book and to be honest i was quite surprised by the couple as well i am not sure what i was expecting but these two were not it.
I don’t know what it is about this authors writing but i do love, so easy to read and flows so well. I am slow reader but i feel like these books just grab at me from the first page and before i know it I’m finished.
I did love Stacey in the first book she seemed liked such a good friend to Liv and it just seemed she was so genuine and i was so glad her book was next. The thing is i you never really know a character and i really like this storyline of Staci’s Past and everything she was hiding.
Mason is such a cool dude he was such a live life in the moment and don’t get too attached to anything but the way he was with staci had me smiling throughout this book he was such a good soul and loved him.
I did love the closeness of all the characters in this book and loved how we still got Liv and Parker’s continuing story.
This book was such a great read and i can’t wait for the next book in this series and can’t wait to see what happens with all the couples.
If your looking for a fun great story you need to read this on really enjoying this series
This book was one of my most anticipated books for this month. Staci and Mason are pretty much cut from the same cloth so to speak when it comes to relationships. They don’t do them and it was nice seeing them break their rules. Staci was had this whole tough chick vibe going but on the inside there was another side she kept hidden. As the story progresses you see why and it made me want to reach in and give Staci a big hug. Mason was a sweetheart and I loved how he called her out when needed. This was a fast paced story but given the couple it made perfect sense. This story isn’t as angst filled as “Where Good Girls Go To Die” but it was still a good read and I enjoyed catching up with the characters. I can’t wait for the next book as well!
