more
I clicked most of the above but they automatically go away so I’ll just write. This was a beautiful love story. Evan and Cam loved each other more than anything and were going to get married. Then Evan left and didn’t tell Cam he was going. She was devastated. She left and went to Portland to start a new life. She gets pregnant, gets married and tries but after 16 years of a cheating husband she takes Morgan and goes home. Evan is a police officer in their home town. He is still as much in love with Cam as he was 16 years ago. They start spending time together and realized they still very much love each other. A standalone with a HEA! Awesome book!!!

Loved it
Loved it! Can’t wait to read the next story!
Great twists and turns all for the good. Like Cam, I took the dark path for the plot. Glad I was wrong.
heartwarming
Made me mad, then sad, and glad. Nice read.
A great cozy romance
I loved it read. You should read the whole series.
Emotional
Cam was coming home to Timber Creek with her teenage daughter, Morgan, to start over. Her almost ex is having a baby with someone else and they announced on tv. Evan is a local police officer and Cam’s high school sweetheart. But things are the same but different. Can they connect again.
I really enjoyed this book for me it was a total healing of the heart. The characters are so strong and well written. Cam returns to her hometown with her troubled teenager Morgan in tow to run right into Evan her high school love. Sixteen years apart and neither knowing why the other left. Cam and Evan’s story is one of true lasting love and the authors telling was wonderful, lots of feelings including teenage Morgan’s, just the right of drama and angst and best of all how each of their hearts begin to heal. GREAT BOOK!!
This story was actually a pretty mellow second chance romance. In a good way. Evan and Cam easily slipped back into their relationship and the only angsty drama-aside from the expected kind from Cam’s ex- was her daughter Morgan’s teenage rebellion.
What a wonderful book I just couldn’t put down. Second chance at love. Cam comes home to Timber Creek after her divorce. She has daughter.
When she runs into her first love Evan things spark.
Evan can’t believe Cam is back. His feelings for her are still there. Will they get a second chance?
See what happens.
So good. Highly recommend
Great start to a new series
