I love everything by this author! Realistic, easy to relate to, sweet, hot.
This was a moving story that had you in its grip. I hated to see it end.
I LOVE J H CROIX BOOKS,
It was a great read and great to catch up with another Alaska story by Croix. The story of Lacey and Quinn what’s romantic a little real life phone in with health issues. I look forward to the next book in this new series
Love this author!
I’ve read quite a few of Croix’s books and have loved them all.
I just skipped over the steamy parts.
I liked Lacey & Quinn, they were both well rounded and strong individuals. Lacey is dealing with a tough health diagnosis and Quinn is there to help her through it. They went from good friends to lovers without too much angst.
Couldn’t finish it. Was extremely bored with hearing how independent the chick was and how in love with her the guy was and then she had this health scare that was just really out of place the way it was used. Couldn’t get into it and wasn’t enjoying it. Normally I do like this author, but I just couldn’t with this one
Lacey is Marley’s sister who is a tough outdoors girl. She is faced with a medical challenge that rattles her self confidence. She is used to her independence but with this new challenge Lacey must find a way to ask for help from family and friends.
Quinn is a long time friend who’s co-guided trips with her for years. He’s also a doctor, so Dr. Quinn Medicine Man + rugged outdoors man + sexy as sin! How can you go wrong?
Lacey has never seen him as anything other than a friend until this last trip. The attraction for her is quite sudden but Quinn’s had feelings for her for years. Can she find a way to let Quinn in?
I love J.H. Croix the most for her descriptive writing. She describes the town of Diamond Creek and all of Alaska so beautifully that I want to hop on a plane and go see it.
Each book is a HEA but once you read one you want to read them all!
A standalone read with a HEA. Hot, Steamy scenes. Set in Diamond Creek, Alaska at the Last Frontier Lodge, Lacey and Quinn get their love story. Friends for years, they both love the outdoor activities that only Alaska has to offer. Lacey is a tour guide for the backcountry. She is strong, independent and tough. Being rather tomboyish she hasn’t had a lot of boy friends. Most are intimidated by her. Quinn is not. He has returned to Alaska after attending medical school in the states. Lacey finds herself very attracted to Quinn but she is afraid of ruining their friendship if things don’t work out. There is a big event that makes the story very interesting as we learn about MS. Good read, I definitely recommend it.
