This was my first time reading something from this author, and I have definitely been missing out! Dominic and Reagan’s story was sweet, romantic, and passionate. The set-up was fantastic, with enough background to set the story and develop the characters. I loved the role-play scene at the end of the book. It added some fun humor and brought the relationship full circle.
I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest, voluntary review.
I thought that this was the sweetest story. When you have two people who have secretly yearned for each other for so long, the build up to their being together is a sweet torture of sorts. Every stolen glance, every accidental brush of their fingertips along your skin… Waiting for that moment when someone will finally make a move. I loved Dominic and Reagan. I was so glad that they got the happiness that they deserved. I am so happy that I discovered this book through an arc that I received from Booksprout. This is my honest review. I will definitely be checking out the authors other books now.
I’ve had so much fun reading When Love Flue In! Although short, Lillian Francis manages to give a great insight into the characters’ thoughts and feelings. And I love Dominic and Reagan. They’re so sweet and endearing in their fascination with one another. They’ve known and wanted each other for six years, intrigued at first sight, but it’s only after Dominic’s wife leaves him that he finds the courage to tell Reagan how he feels about him.
Call it a Christmas miracle or the fate’s gift to these men,but their getting together is charming, touching and so,so hot.
If you’re looking for a short read guaranteed to put a smile on your faces, grab When Love Flue In. I really recommend it.
Secretly longing for a chimney sweep? Why not confess?
December 13, 2018
Format: Kindle Edition
Sweet tale of secret longing for male connection that breaks loose at the holidays. I liked the chemistry between the two and the loving relationship chimney sweep Reagan maintains with his mother. The climactic Christmas morning scene between the two heroes at Dominic’s house was a bit drawn out for my taste, but it’s a nice, uplifting romance with plenty of passion and steamy fantasizing, and a cozy, all the trappings of Christmas, flair.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

Dominic may be spending his first Christmas alone post divorce. He’s fantasized about a chimney sweep who came to his home every year, but was never in a position to act on his true desires. Determined to keep up his time with the man of his dreams, he makes an appointment and the wheels have been set in motion.
Reagan is attracted to his client and has been since the first time the men laid eyes on one another all those years ago. This year, there were a few differences – Dominic made the call, his home is furnished differently, no work to pretend he isn’t watching, and no wife.
One soot induced accident changed the way they interacted and things progress quickly from there. Experience the well timed, slow burn romance that is Dominic and Reagan.
You will absolutely love Reagan’s mother!

Reagan is a chimney sweep who has made an annual stop each Christmas season at Dominic’s house to clean his chimney. Both were unaware that the other had a crush. But with Dominic married, they just carried on as usual.
This year, Dominic is alone, his wife having left him when he told her the truth. Dominic needs to stop hiding how he feels, though his self-confidence is a bit battered. When Dominic makes a drunk phone call and Reagan goes over to make sure he is okay, can they finally admit to their feelings for one another? Are they both ready to find that long-awaited HEA?
This story is well-written, letting the reader experience the characters’ uncertainties and hesitation. Reagan is patient and ready to build up Dominic’s self-esteem. The characters are likable and a little banter thrown in makes the story fun. Grab your copy and see if the future is looking good for these two.
This was a sweet, romantic Christmas novella. Dominic, recently divorced call his chimney sweep to come on Christmas Eve. Dominic is lucky there was a cancellation that Reagan could help him out. Little does either man know that both have been crushing on each other. When Dominic gets drunk later that night, he calls Reagan and tells him that he’s the reason that Dominic is divorced. Reagan comes and confronts him the next day. This was fantastic, short and steamy! I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received.
This was an enjoyable read. I really loved the characters, especially Dominic. He was so sweet and had been through a lot. He is recently divorced and finally out of the closet. Due to the way his father thought of and treated him he stayed in the closet and married a women he didn’t love. His father sounds like a horrible person and so does his wife. It seems she was just in it for whatever she could get out of it. He’s been hurt by it all and is very insecure because of it.
Then there’s Reagan, who is just a lovely, thoughtful guy. He has been through a lot of relationships over the last 5 years and he believes they didn’t work because there must be something wrong with him. But that was the time they first met each other. They have liked each other from the moment met 5 years a go when Reagan cleaned his chimney for the first time. But due to Dominic being married and him thinking he was straight he couldn’t do anything.
The way Reagan learns the truth about it all is so funny. When he goes round on Christmas day to get some answers, sparks begin to fly. The sex scene is so sweet to begin with as Dominic is very insecure and Reagan helps him overcome it. Dominic says a few really funny lines during that scene. They story takes places over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. But due to having sort of know each other and wanting each other for 5 years it’s not to unbelievable. If it was longer a lot more back story and after after Christmas would of made it even better. But it was a great read and I loved the epilogue.
