185,000+ WordsJaycee Lawrence has never had room in her life for anything less than perfection. Now charged with keeping the hottest contractor on television in one piece and on schedule, her life revolves around production times and remodeling nightmares—not to mention the very real issue of guarding her heart from falling for her very eligible boss. However, when tragic news strikes for Jaycee back home, Derek soon realizes his reliance on her might run deeper than just schedules and take-out. Can he fight the growing attraction with the woman he always thought was just doing her job? Or is Derek in much deeper than he ever thought possible—too deep to go back and deep enough to drown if he doesn’t figure out how to stay strong and resist the feelings that are quickly becoming impossible to ignore?

great book in a great series
Kinda long story. Very sweet. But I felt that Derick looses himself and the storyline is more about him then the relationship. When it starts in her voice but we loose that too. Then in the end a lot of things are left hanging. I felt that the epilogue was written as a hurried was to end the story. It does end on a happy new t though.
A very real book in some ways, happily ever after in others
Book was ok but very wordy, too many details, hard to keep interest.
I love how Christians values was present. I was able to read some great scriptures.
Great series!
Easy read
I enjoyed reading this book. The characters were well written. The plot was well written also.
I really enjoyed this book. Great characters with real life problems. Romance. Inspired sermons and discussion from the Pastor character. Just a wonderful read that was not only enjoyable but made you think.
Good story.
Love this series.
Very good read. It linked well with the other books with the same characters and built well on the overall story.
Enjoyed as it continued the story started in the series. The characters seemed real and it was easy to get involved in the story line. I like the inspirational building characters that aren’t perfect, but loved by God. – as we all are. His Grace and Mercy shown in a family setting.
This book was amazing. And the life lessons learned were beyond expected! I enjoyed the story plot, and felt like I was part of the family before I was through reading! So glad for authors who can write something that satisfies the desire to read romance, but also sends strong moral lessons! Thanks!
Most of Staci Stallings books are very sweet and you can count on them being clean. This is why I keep reading. However she often reverts to the same stilted phrases or wording over and over. Also I’ve found many spelling or grammar errors and even some words which don’t actually exist. I am wondering if some of the errors occur when the transfer from actual book to Kindle takes place.
Grounding! Predictable but reassuring on the prospect of humanity and reality.
Loved the change of heart in H when he realized life wasn’t all about him and he reached out to help others, and in doing so became a blessing.
For those who like sweet Christian romance, Staci Stallings is a great option. I really like her books!
This is a very good book.
Inspirational, but it dragged on.
