Have enjoyed all the books in this series!
This. Was. The. Slowest. Book. I. Have. Ever. Read. Did not even finish it. Interesting characters and plot but it just never went anywhere.
The book was way too long and detail-oriented. I skimmed many pages and considered skipping to the end many times, but resisted that extreme. There were mistakes that irritated me; I can’t remember most of them now, but one was calling Jaycee’s illness a possible heat stroke. Had that been the case, it was an emergency which required a visit to the ER. Maybe heat exhaustion–still serious, but not as much.
I guess it’s my own fault for choosing free books that are labeled “contemporary romance.” They are usually pretty shallow and lame.
This is a very inspirational book. There are many passages with the pastor that are very informational about living with god and Christ in your life. It also shows how to love someone the way Christ does you.
Once again Stacy Stalling wrote a moving beautiful book, loved it.
Could have been half as long. A lot of repetition.
The author has the characters twisting their arms and winding their arms so many times in this book that they must have crazy arms by the end. That and the males putting their hands on their belts. Please proofread. Missing words and misspelled words mess up an otherwise enjoyable read
A lot of grace was in this book and understanding of the human soul. Really enjoyed reading it.
enjoyed the story which made you think.
The plot was fine – it was just too long. I felt like I was watching multiple programs on HGTV and all the details were just too much. Then the ending was so fast I nearly missed it. I liked the characters and the conversations with between the pastor and main character were great.
Staci delivers yet another great story with well developed characters, an interesting relationship and realistic scenarios. You find yourself rooting for Jaycee and Derek while staying up late turning pages to see what happens. Great read!
It was a good book as far as doctrine and a good message. The book did drag a bit.
Staci Stallings is always superb. If I’m in a down mood, her books will lift me and remind me of the truth in my heart.
I loved it!
Good Christian romance enjoyed it tremendously
