An amazing touching well written story. I was engaged in this standalone from beginning to end and loved how previous characters from the series were worked in. A beautiful story of redemption, temptations, hope, forgiveness, healing, abuse, rape, family, friends, support, and romance in such a sweet story of sharing faith. The characters and issues are relatable and show the meaning of having faith and a reminder to pay attention to signs. A beautifully narrated and expressed story.
This is a well written friends to lovers romance with strong characters and a heartwarming story line. The author does a great job building the story and pulls you in with all the drama, emotions and surprises throughout. She adds in the romance and love as well as the chemistry between Liam and Michele. Enjoyable read.

When Hearts Collide
by Jennifer Hartley
A heartwarming storyline and mesmerizing plot that makes When Hearts Collide to life, flawlessly. When Hearts Collide is an incredible story filled with a whirlwind of incredible drama, unforeseen circumstances and unpredictable surprises around every turn; keeping the readers willingly turning the pages, making the readers heartache, Blasts of spinning emotions into play front and center. The pain, their struggles and the sacrifices that must be endured during their journey to their happy ever-after. A complete story, with no cliffhanger; but I see for a way for a sequel or spinoff in the making.
Ms. Jennifer Hartley showcases her imagination that is so touching and sincere, with a love and chemistry between the main characters is a beautiful thing to behold. Ms. Jennifer Hartley has brought out the magic of her writing skills, that is packed with surprises, that are sure to please. Ms. Jennifer Hartley totally nailed this little jewel (100%) with characters and scenes that are written with such realism it really pulls this treasure together beautifully; to the point that the readers feel everything the characters feel. The characters real and loveable in this sweet read; where love wins. I enjoyed reading When Hearts Collide. The families and friendships in the background, with an endearing hero and heroine. I loved that this story demonstrated the importance of communication to make a relationship work, the balanced and compromise that makes a relationship work; through the hard times and the good ones, true partners. A story that has everything to make a good read; angst, laughter, twists and turns, a little heat, great characters, and chemistry with great supporting characters, and a happy ever-after ending. Receiving a 5-star rating.
For Liam and Michelle being friends come first. They have been dance partners, best friend and occasionally even lovers. But friendship always outweighs everything else. Then Michelle find herself pregnant and the father is an absentee. Liam decides to take up the slack and be the child’s father. As they deal with parenthood they become closer together. Will they be able to overcome all the obstacles and find happiness together?
This is a friends to lover romance that touches your heart and leaves you feeling good. The characters are interesting, compassionate, personable and you can’t help but become invested in the outcome of the story. The family grows and develops not in the traditional way but is flexible to the situation the characters find themselves in. There is plenty of emotional drama to go around as Michelle finds it hard to move forward and needs to overcome many issues. There is so much joy and trials throughout the book that it keeps the reader’s interest. This is an easy to read book but hard to put down. If you love a great contemporary romance you will enjoy this book.

The Pitch-hitter becomes the Home run King
You just have to LOVE a man that steps up to be responsible for a child that is not his. I say Michelle is one very lucky lady if she realizes it or not.
Michelle was in a relationship with Josh and found out she was pregnant. But baby daddy doesn’t want anything to do with her or the little bundle. In steps Liam, her long time competitive dance partner and good friend. It seems Liam has loved Michelle for a long time but never pursued anything for fear it might end their current relationship. But he recognizes this opportunity and runs with it. It may be a “backward” relationship but he will make sure he eventually gets the brass ring…………..Michelle and baby Maddy and hopefully more.
Jennifer Hartley has written an enticing friends to lovers romance story that has a lot of depth and heart. We could all use a friend like Liam in our lives – someone who loves us unconditionally and will help us in any way he is able to.
