An interesting read, different story line, made for a nice change of pace.
Good characters but plot line was fairly predictable
Unexpected ending. I enjoyed the book.
I loved this book. It was hard to put down. It kept me guessing and wonder what would happen next.
I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN.
It has been a very long time since I had a book that grabbed me and I had to read it until the last page.
I got the book in the late afternoon and started reading it after dinner and I could not stop reading it until I reached the end at 4:00am.
This book has non-stop twists and turns all the way to the end.
I just did not care for the ending. It was so “this is it” ending
I loved this book, kept me guessing until the very end! Reminded me of some Harlan Coben novels.
John and Jane Gable have 2 kids. Jane is a nurse and John is a writer. An old friend, Bruce, from school drops in on John. Shortly afterward John disappears. Murder, drug deals with a lot of suspense. This novel has some twists to keep you guessing. A surprise conclusion to this thriller.
Jane is a night nurse who comes home after her shift to find that her husband, John, is nowhere to be found. The children, a girl, 12 and a boy, 5, have been left alone. There is no note, and John has left behind his wallet and cell phone. Strange things have been happening for several weeks, and when his car is found with blood on the steering wheel, Jane becomes a suspect in his disappearance — and presumed murder. The characters are well drawn; the reader cares about all of them. I was stunned, when I finished the book, to learn that T. J. Brearton is a man.
It was a book that took me in from the beginning and I read it straight through.
