Another cute, funny and steamy story by Ms. Lila Monroe!
This is Natalie and Justin’s story.
I always enjoy Ms. Monroe’s heroines, and Natalie is nothing short of fantastic. She is smart, sassy and I love how she sticks up for things and people that she cares about! Her chance encounter with Justin is sweet, funny and steamy! A great meet-cute and what a way to start her story.
Justin is struggling to find his place in the world. He wants to blaze his own trail and with his last name and legacy, it’s hard to come by. Meeting Natalie gives him the push he needs.
You also get the humor you come to love from Ms. Monroe, I caught myself laughing out loud at the dialogue and antics that her characters do and say.
I also liked seeing past characters make appearances and catching up with what’s going on with them.
Another hit, another jewel in the writing crown of Lila Monroe. Well done!
I’ve read the majority of Lila Monroe’s romantic comedies, and I’ve enjoyed every single one of them. Her light-hearted, easy-reading romances never fail to entertain me and make me smile. Monroe perfectly balances the steam in her stories with fun plots, full of humor but without heavy angst or needless drama. Her writing is vivid and descriptive, and she peppers interesting details into her imaginative storylines full of endearing, likable characters surrounding a couple chasing their happily ever after in a sexy romance.
What’s Your Sign? is the second book in her Cupids series. A workplace romance, the heroine, Natalie, and the hero, Justin—who, unbeknownst to her at the time, is her new boss—have one heck of a steamy meet-cute in the elevator on his first day. Justin is at The Gazette, the newspaper his family’s company bought, to make some tough decisions. Natalie loves the paper and her job, and when an opportunity help the stars align to save the paper lands in her lap, she runs with it.
The more time they spend together, the more their chemistry sizzles. This couple was so perfect together, and I was rooting for them from the start. Filled with witty, flirty banter and enough heat to launch a rocket, Natalie and Justin’s relationship quickly shifts from the professional to passionate. It isn’t long, though, before Natalie realizes that her job isn’t the only thing she could lose once Justin figures out she’s been pulling his astrological strings.
Full of humor, heart and heat, What’s Your Sign? was fun, fiery and full of feels! An absolute pleasure to read from cover-to-cover, What’s Your Sign? by Lila Monroe gets 4.5 smooches from me!

4 stars!
What’s Your Sign is book #2 in Lila Monroe’s Cupid’s Series. This is a super cute office romantic comedy. If you want light, fun and flirty this is your book! Natalie is a hard working up and coming journalist. She meets Justin and has a pretty steamy lip lock in an elevator only to later find out he is the new CEO of the company she’s working for. She later finds out her job could be in jeopardy AND the fun times begin! The two have some moments of push and pull and they definitely clashed at times but more than that their chemistry was instant and steamy and the whole story had a bit of an enemies to lovers vibe. Natalie makes a decision to write horoscopes for the paper when the usual writer goes missing and this sets off a chain reaction of events that I didn’t know how would turn out. There is light angst and a ton of laughs that had me addicted from beginning to end.

Star-crossed lovers. The beautiful tragic stories that seem to always be too good to be true. What if you could change your fate? Make the stars work for you? Natalie works for The Gazette, a newspaper that is slowly falling into obsoletion as the world is moving more towards a digital age. A guardian angels has swooped in to save the dying company, and Natalie has no idea what to expect of her new world. When her first day with the new owner, she is hoping to give off a good first impression. That impression did not include getting stuck in the elevator. Luckily she isn’t alone in this moment of fear. How quickly they went from strangers trying to offer each other comfort to wrapped up in each other’s arms, passionately kissing when the elevator begins to move again.
Justin Rockwell has no idea what to make of his father’s most recent acquisition, The Gazette. The fate of this company lies in his hand. He will be the one who will determine if the company has any salvageable qualities to it, or if they should cut their losses and sell what they
can to make their deal worthwhile. Justin’s day goes from bad to worse when he upon setting foot in the building, he gets stuck in the elevator. The only bright side to this small bump in the road is that there is a gorgeous mystery girl also stuck in there with him. Out of the elevator
and into the real world, Justin and Natalie get a shock when they learn who they just kissed. Can Natalie’s passion for journalism and the newspaper convince Justin to save The Gazette?
I think that this concept is so fun. I’ve always found the star-crossed lovers trope to be a story filled with tension, lust, pain and inevitable heartbreak. Monroe does grab you right from the start considering there is a steamy make-out session to kick the whole novel off. The story is face-paced and keeps the reader intrigued from the start. The manipulation factor is innocent enough that most of what comes from Natalie’s actions is funny and laughable. Nothing drastic happens that it would cause harm to the characters. The story moves between Natalie and Justin’s point of view which I found to fully capture the whole story. The reader understands Natalie’s thoughts in what she wrote, and then gets to see how Justin interpreters them.
I’d give this book 5 out of 5 stars. Justin Rockwell is being added to my list of book boyfriends and I’m not ashamed. He’s sweet and compassionate, wanting to do what’s best for the people he works with. He doesn’t live up to the mean and rude CEO that his father wants him to be. It’s simple to see how Natalie fell for him because I think every reader will do so as well. A light heart read that will have you laughing from start to finish, What’s your sign is perfect for all those horoscope obsessed readers out there.
Another hit out of the ballpark with this series!
What’s Your Sign? Is flirty and the prefect rom com for an evening treat. The chemistry this author creates starts with an elevator kiss, what more do you need? They dynamic of new enemies to lovers will have you cheering for Natalie and Justin to find their way to each other. It’s fun to watch how horoscopes are a key part and Justin is a follower, however, unbeknownst to him, Natalie is the author of said horoscopes. There’s humor and sexiness throughout this latest Cupid series. Grab it today.

If you’re in the mood for a light, fun, smexy read, Lila Monroe’s books are here to rescue you! What’s Your Sign is an adorable addition to the Cupid’s series and is a delightful standalone.
The Gazette has been floundering of late, as of the last print newspapers in this digital age and Justin Rockford has been sent as the harbinger of doom for the beloved newspaper. When his family purchased the newspaper, it was with the full intention of breaking it up and selling it for parts but Justin is there to drop the axe but fate has other ideas.
After a steamy encounter with a beautiful mystery man in the elevator, Natalie is shocked to learn, she’s just frenched kissed her new boss! Awkward!! But Natalie loves her job, I mean loves it! It’s her dream job so she’s not about to go down without a fight. Without an official role with the newspaper, she steps in as the assistant to the delicious but dastardly Grim Reaper of the newspaper. The more time she and Justin spend together, the more they realize there is much to save, whether it’s the newspaper, the jobs of the hundreds of people who call the Gazette home, or even themselves.
An adorable and endearing read. Justin and Natalie were great together and easy to root for! Their friends were great and even the horoscopes are basically a character. Fun summer read!

What’s Your Sign? by Lila Monroe is the second standalone romance in her Cupids series. A romantic comedy with an office romance twist that will have you scouring the newspaper for your daily horoscope and wondering just where the man of your dreams might be lurking (**wink**). Natalie and Justin are adorable and their chemistry is sparking all through the pages of this wonderful romance. Another fun, sexy and romantic story from one of my favorite authors. Enjoy!
To say that I was excited to read Lila Monroe’s new release What’s Your Sign? doesn’t even feel as if it’s enough of a statement to start with. This office romantic comedy kept a smile on my face throughout my read. I even had a laugh out loud moment at the gym on one of the machines that I spend half an hour reading on while peddling. I love a great rom-com that gives me all the feels and this one certainly did.
Natalie is a journalist, the newspaper where she works at has been sold to a huge corporation with a bad reputation on how they handle the companies they buy out. With a new CEO taking over she’s freaking out that pink slips will be handed out or worse. The only thing that she can think about is how can she help save her dream job and all of her friends from becoming unemployed. I love Natalie, she’s funny, not afraid to speak her mind and definitely not afraid to go after what she wants.
Justin Rockford is the gorgeous new CEO, his family is HUGE in the business world, they are known for buying and selling and turning worlds upside down. Justin’s new position may be more than he could have imagined, especially with a distracting beauty like Natalie that he has to work with. Justin had me feeling all the butterflies flying around in my stomach and tickling my toes. He’s such a swoon-worthy book boyfriend.
What’s Your Sign? Is a great read that is sweet, sexy, and heartfelt. How far would you go for your dream job? Would you align the stars to work in your favor? I love the teasing banter, the secondary characters and the feel of the forbidden office romance.
I love it, I love it, I 5 Stars Freaking love it!
Readers can count on author Lila Monroe to bring some lightness and laughter into their day. Her latest novella, What’s Your Sign?, is a hilarious office romance. This book takes off with an adorably awkward meeting and it gets better with every page.
What’s Your Sign features Natalie, an energetic and feisty journalist at The Gazette newspaper. Even though the industry is sagging, she loves her job and her coworkers. Her dedication to saving the newspaper is admirable, and the lengths she’ll go are uproarious. Justin, who is the sent in to dismantle the newspaper organization, is secretly hoping to save the paper and the employees. As the last hired, he should fire Natalie, but her infectious enthusiasm wins him over.
These two characters make a great team. The banter is fun and their joking around with each other is hilarious. Ms. Monroe has again created a couple of characters who feel real and had me rooting for their success. The antagonism over the potential office shutdown eventually turns into a romance as Natalie and Justin work together to save the paper. Naturally, there are some hurdles to overcome, but that provides more laughs than angst. Between the missing astrologist, the aging actress next door, and the fatherly matchmaking the fun never stops. What’s Your Sign? is a charming, quick read that left me hoping for more stories about the secondary characters.
What I appreciate the most about Lila Monroe’s romantic comedies is that she takes an idea for a story and makes it her own, adding little nuances and quirks to it and its characters and in her newest release, What’s Your Sign, the spin she takes on the office romance trope is an intriguing one because there’s a bit of deception on the part of the heroine and regardless of how altruistic her motives are, going about things in the way that she does may help keep The Gazette stay in business, but it might also destroy what’s been building between the hero and the heroine, given what Justin was tasked to do with his father’s latest acquisition and how Natalie’s daily horoscope entry persuades Justin to go in the opposite direction his dad had wanted.
Natalie and Justin’s meet-cute sparks the kind of connection that any man and woman would want to see where it goes, but there are extenuating circumstances that they don’t initially know about, and once they do, it not only makes their entanglement a bit problematic but it also leads Natalie down a path that may save her job/career but it also might ruin anything she had hoped to have with her elevator hottie.
Like Monroe’s other romcoms, Natalie and Justin’s story is a humorous, steamy, and witty read – one where its characters exchange witty barbs and lustful looks and a passion for each other as well as their careers that, hopefully, will allow the stars to align and love to last even after the last horoscope is read.
4 Poison Apples
I think I might be in love with Justin. Scratch that, I know I am. This guy is amazing. I love when we get a billionaire hero who doesn’t fit the standard billionaire mold. Justin is easy-going, lovable, a little bit quirky, and a whole lot of fun. He’s got a great personality that you quickly become addicted to and a genuine desire to do right by people. And did I mention how sexy he is? He definitely gives off billionaire boy next door vibes.
Natalie is a quirky mess and I absolutely love her. She’s sometimes awkward, always hilariously funny, and full of sass and determination. I love how she can have her life together but also…not have it together at the same time, and I know that sounds difficult to do but somehow she achieves it. She’s fun, instantly lovable, and definitely keeps things interesting. I have a major girl crush on her.
Put these two together, and from page one it’s an adventure. I love the ‘will they, won’t they’ aspect of the story, but I also love that they find each other too irresistible to pass up. I can honestly say I think this is one of my favorite Lila Monroe books so far. It’s a sweet, funny, sexy, laugh-out-loud, rom-com must-read.
Holy carp, this one catches your attention, captures your heart and flings you into a story that goes from zero to sixty in 2.3 seconds and it’s all a reader can do to hold on and enjoy the thrill of the ride! I suspect that’s just a small taste of what our heroine goes through as she navigates all things Justin Rockford.
Natalie Martinelli has quite the tangled web she’s dealing with. When a media conglomerate, the Rockford Group, purchases her beloved Gazette, she does everything she can to save her job and keep the paper for being dismantled and sold off. FYI, that does NOT include the make out session with hatchet man Justin Rockford when their elevator gets stuck between floors. Before she realizes who he is, of course.
As the days go by, things heat up between Natalie and Justin and the paper limps along, but Natalie does whatever she can to help, including anonymously taking over the paper’s horoscope feature. No big deal, right? Except that Justin has come to rely on his daily horoscope, and the MIA “Madame LeFarge” is needed for one last-ditch effort to save the paper.
With hijinks, hilarity and madcap missteps, there’s never a dull moment while Natalie finds love and valiantly fights to save the sinking Gazette. Told from dual points of view, because some things are just that much better from the male POV, Natalie and Justin’s story will take you on a wild romp. With plenty of humor, delicious heat and surprising depth of heart, you don’t want to miss this fun, flirty, heartfelt read.
Lila has once again given me what I love to read . Natialie and Justin are a sweet, funny sexy office romance that begins as a sudden attarction in an elevator ! Justin has taken on the task of deciding if his father’s newspaper is worth saving. When he gets on board he soon realizes that these reporters are talented and very good at their job !! His run in on elevator surprises him but he is more taken back when he realizes that the lovely Natalie works for the paper. Once Natalie realizes that she may have just had a moment with her new boss she is mortified but still extremely attracted to him . Their interactions are refreshing, sweet, sizzling and laugh out loud funny!! Another hit for me in the Romcom world!! Thank you Lila !!

Natalie is starting her new dream job at The Gazette when the elevator she is in is stuck. Luckily for her, she is stuck with a very handsome guy, Justin, who she assumes is one of the engineers on a different floor. After the elevator jerks a couple of times, she launches herself at him and they end up making out. When she finally arrives at her floor, she finds out that Justin is part of the Rockford family that just purchased The Gazette. Since she is the last one hired, to avoid being unemployed, she accepts the job working as Justin’s assistant. When she finds out that the papers astrologist has taken an extended vacation, and that is the one part of the newspaper Justin likes, she anonymously takes over writing the column. Since Justin follows his sign, she writes things that subtly pushes him towards keeping the paper, and taking a chance on her. Both Natalie and Justin are likable characters, and Lila Monroe brings her usual laughs. This is a thoroughly enjoyable book. I received an ARC of this book from the author for my honest review.
What’s Your Sign? is a fun, light-hearted, enemies-to-lovers, romantic comedy and a truly enjoyable quick read! Lila Monroe never fails with her fun and sexy rom-coms, with the perfect balance of humor, heat, and plot twists.
This book features an office romance between an up and coming journalist, Natalie, and the new CEO, Justin. After a steamy encounter in their office building’s elevator with a hot stranger, Natalie soon discovers that the same stranger she was locking lips with not 5 minutes prior, is her new boss. Tensions rise between the two as they butt heads over what should happen and what’s actually going to happen with the newspaper. But the more time they spend together, and the more sexual tension that builds with every barb and banter thrown at each other, these two quickly see that they each want what’s best for the company…and realize that the stars have aligned perfectly with one another.
I really liked this book. Both characters endured their own set of work problems while trying to navigate their new “relationship”. As much as they seemed to be an ‘opposites attract’ type couple, they’re more similar than they truly want to admit. Natalie and Justin’s chemistry explodes off the pages from chapter one and continues to build throughout the story line. Their whole employee/employer dynamic screams ‘complicated’, but it works legitimately well for the plot of the story.
Lila Monroe is the queen of romantic comedies! If you love laugh-out-loud, sassy, and sexy romances, then look no further…you won’t be disappointed.
This is an entertaining witty, steamy, laugh out loud read. Wonderful characters. Great friendships. Natalie and Justin have an irresistible chemistry.
Full of sweet, sexy and lots of laughable moments. What’s Your Sign is the epitome of an office romance where Natalie keeps hoping to dig herself out of a hole, but only ends up finding herself in a bigger one.
The Gazette, where Natalie works, is in jeopardy and in process of a takeover. She finds herself continually throwing herself on the gauntlet to save the paper and her fellow workers, but the hardship really isn’t so hard when the new CEO is handsome and she might have accidently had a makeout session with him before she knew who he was. Ooops.
When the favorite Gazette horoscope writer vanishes Natalie picks up the reigns. No harm no foul. That is until she finds out that one corporate CEO, Justin Rockford is taking the readings to heart.
Justin isn’t like his father, coming in and dismantling a company only to make a profit. Justin actually wants to save the paper and jobs alike and there is something about the horoscope that gives him the advice he likes to hear. Although, the more time Natalie and Justin spend together the more Natalie realizes that she should probably come clean about the horoscope writing, but that’s the thing with little white lies…they suddenly become a big one that seems insurmountable.
Could she end up losing both the job she loves and the man too?
Sometimes you don’t know you need a book, until you’re reading it. I definitely needed the fun, steam and romance that is ‘What’s Your Sign?’
Natalie and Justin are just such incredibly likeable characters. Not being the child of a billionaire, I obviously found Natalie easier to identify with, but Justin held his own. He’s his own man and despite this being a rom-com, we definitely saw growth in his character.
One of the things I most enjoy about Lila Monroe’s books are that her characters and plots always feel possible. Yes there’s an element of coincidence, OTTness and (im)perfect timing but her characters are so warm, her situations so plausible and her writing so good that I find myself right there alongside her H and h.
This book held my attention from the very first page and held it throughout. I enjoyed every single page and was never once tempted to skim parts. I love that we got both pov’s, it allowed me to not only understand but also appreciate both main characters. And just because it’s a rom-com doesn’t mean it doesn’t have depth. There are some scorching hot moments, some ‘stick it to the man’ moments and some melt your heart moments and they’re all woven into one wonderful story.
An aspiring journalist and a brand new CEO. An office romance in the making.
What’s Your Sign by Lila Monroe is a sexy, fun, slightly angsty office romance. Natalie is a journalist who’s just started her dream job at her favorite newspaper, but it might be short-lived as there are rumors they’ve been bought over by The Rockford group and that’s not good.
Jason is the new CEO of the Gazette. Natalie and Jason have a hot moment in a stuck elevator, but when she finds out who he really is, she mortified.
But, then she has more than embarrassment to contend with. Natalie’s not going down without a fight though. Jason is impressed and agrees to keep her on, but as his assistant not a journalist. Natalie has no choice. She stays but there’s a lot going on. People avoiding responsibilities. Mad neighbors, crazy bosses and nasty dads. Well, one nasty dad.
Natalie has to turn her hand to those responsibilities and help save her favored paper. In doing so, she spends more and more time with Jason and finds out he’s not the jerk she thought he was. He’s sweet and kind. Compassionate and full of passion. She’s falling under his spell. Jason is caught up in the moment too until he finds out the truth. Then he’s not so happy. He’s in danger of losing it all unless he sees the light. Will he?
One-Click this beauty today and find out.
It was great catching up a little with characters from the previous book in this series, Cupids Anonymous. It doesn’t detract from this story though and both can be read as standalones.
4.5 Star Review of What’s Your Sign? by Lila Monroe
Lila Monroe had me from chapter one in this fun, quirky and entertaining read about Natalie and Justin.
Every time I read a book from this author I
I think I have a new favourite and here I am thinking it again.
This book centres around an office romance, which appears to be written in the stars. Justin has been tasked by his father with determining whether The Gazette is a viable business or if it should be dismantled. While Natalie, is filling in and writing the horoscopes of which Justin seems to follow.
What will happen when he discovers that the horoscopes he follows are written by Natalie? Will he forgive her? as bothJustin and Natalie want to save The Gazette but are working at cross purposes.
I loved Natalie and Justin, both separately and particularly together. There was something about these two that got to me. They were so easy to like and relate to and it made for a great read.
There were quite a few laugh out loud moments and the banter between them was witty.
Lila Monroe is an author who knocks romantic comedy books out of the park. Her books are, sweet, spicy, romantic and so funny that you cannot help but fall in love with her characters and her stories. I never fail to smile when I read a Lila Monroe book.
