Good, enjoyed will read from this author again.
I didn’t want it to end so soon, I was completely engulfed with the characters & the story. I love a good ghost story & this was one!
Good beach read.
I read for pleasure and this book is entertaining and fast moving.
What She Inherits is a nice relaxing read. The main character faces decisions about what she wants to do with the rest of her life and goes through a lot of soul searching as she makes her decision.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It was well-written, some surprises along the way, and some very interesting twists and turns. I was definitely anxious to get back to it after having to lay it down.
Loved the way the characters were handled. The way it turned out, although a bit predictable, was still entertaining and delightful. Our whole book club loved it!
Loved it.
There is always someone who causes problems when a family losses there loved one. This story is like that and is very unfair to Cassie , she goes through things she should not have to go through. That is real life. I was glad she found someone who cared for her and saw what she saw and made the right decision for Cassie and the small mountain folks .
Different but excellent
A surprise around every corner. I really enjoyed this book.
I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters are very well written and the story is very original. At the age of 70 I don’t waste my time on same old, same old variations on a theme. This was a truly delightful read.
I kept getting confused with the two simultaneous lives portrayed. Once the interconnection became clear, it was a terrific read!
Interesting format of moving through two separate locations and families who eventually are intermingled.
This was an enjoyable book. I like how every came together at the end.
I enjoyed the twists and turns this book took. The inheritance is not what you expect.
Interesting turn of events underlining relationships and connections between families and friends.
I enjoyed this book a lot. Normally I don’t mind if there are two separate plots going on in alternating chapters but in this case I found it a bit frustrating because I was so caught up in the action of each plot. I solved it by reading every other chapter (thus reading one plot at a time) for several chapters. It all twined together at the end to make an enjoyable story.
At first I didn’t care for the fact that I was reading two stories at the same time. a chapter from one and then a chapter from the other. But in the end they came together.
A little contrived, but interesting characters and a fairly solid plot make for a good read.
