Brotherhood is what Bull bleeds and all that he knows.Being the king of The Devil’s Dust and surrounded by easy women was his everyday… until having his heart broke rooted him to the bottom of a whiskey bottle.Heartbroken, and drowning in lost memories he’s unsure of the direction of his life, when the answer – consisting of a terrified Mexican girl- nearly knocks him off his feet.Determined to … feet.
Determined to get his act together and rectify his club, he rides to Texas for answers, only to be confronted with the emotional ghosts he isn’t ready to deal with.
He sees Anahi, and he wants her.
But she may come with more baggage than Bull is ready for.
Anahi used to be prim and proper. She used to wear dresses and keep up appearances to impress people she didn’t know. I guess you could say she was a lady.
But that was when she lived in Mexico with her parents.
Before her uncle turned on her.
Before, the only man she ever loved, her step-brother, betrayed her.
Before she was forced to be a drug mule for the Cartel.
Evening gowns a lost memory, expensive heels traded for boots, and a nine millimeter in her hand instead of a limited edition purse. Anahi sets aside everything she’s ever known including the fairytale stories her mother told her about America.
She’s angry, determined, and looking for a way out.

So glad I finally read Bull’s story! This whole series is pure gold in the MC genre. Bull and Anahi are perfect together! Told in dual POV
I have really enjoyed this series and I hope they keep coming. The Devil’s Dust family has been so fun to watch evolve. What Might Kill Us is Bull and Anahi’s story and I know that along with myself, many people have been waiting for Bull’s story.
Bull is the president of the Devil’s Dust MC. After having someone close to him tragically taken away from his life, he’s been on a bit of a downward spiral. Nothing matters to him anymore except the club. He’s angry, he drinks all the time, and he’s quite frankly one scary dude to be around given he is in a constant state of rage. Ultimately, he’s hurting. His heart is hurting and he is convinced that he will never be able to heal. Nothing has caught his attention except for a bottle of booze. That is until this dark haired beauty who is in distress runs right smack into him. There’s something about the girl that slipped from his fingers that he can’t stop thinking about so he embarks on a trip to find her and save her. The question is, does she want to be saved?
Anahi grew up as a Mexican cartel princess. Although she knew the danger that was around her, she was mostly shielded from it. That is until she lost both of her parents and her Uncle steps in. What she thought would be a promising rescue after losing her parents, reality is that her Uncle is ruthless and has plans to keep the cartel running. Her only savior during this transition was her step-brother. But after time, not only did her Uncle throw her to the wolves in the cartel, her own step-bother and the man she thought she loved turned on her. Now forced to sell drugs in Texas, Anahi plots to escape. She almost did once. While trying to escape, she ran right smack into a gorgeous green eyed man who made her stomach flip. Now that she’s back with the cartel, she can’t stop thinking about him and when he shows up with his MC crew in her Texas town, she doesn’t know what to think. Will he be able to save her or does he have plans to use her like everyone else does?
I want to start with how much I really liked Anahi. She can come off as this innocent girl but she’s strong. She’s got the fight for your life mentality so when push comes to shove, she’s actually a little crazy. I’m with Bull, I adore her wild side. However, she struggles with it because of her family background so it is clear that her morals are still in tact and that she overall has a big heart. She comes into Bull’s life at the best time possible. At first, they bicker and their back and forth is entertaining. She has no problem walking up to the big bad biker and giving him a piece of his mind. But in the end, she truly cares for him and soon she starts to show that. She helps him realize that there’s more to life then what he’s been living lately.
Poor Bull was broken in the beginning of this book. He has pretty much just been going through the motions and it was great to finally see someone bring some life back to him. He loves his club and and everyone there loves and respects him. All they want is for him to be happy so when Anahi comes around, they support him fully. Even if she comes with a whole lot of baggage. Especially when some of his past ties with hers.
What I enjoy about this series is that every time I read one of the books, I know I’m set up for the next one. Or at least there’s always someone in there that I want more of. This time, I want to know more about Kane. He plays a pretty dominate roll in this book and there’s some story going on with him that I’m dying to see how it plays out. I love the fact that I always want more of these boys.
Overall, I enjoyed this book. It has a little bit of everything. Heartbreak, crazy, drama, MC, Cartel, love and a whole lot of sass. It will certainly take you on a ride that you don’t want to miss out on.
I want to start this review by saying that this is the best story MN Forgy has ever written. I have been a lover of her stories from the beginning and have devoured all of them. I love the way she writes, her rawness, her dedication to a story line and her characters and the feelings that each of her stories invokes. I love this series and have been worried (only slightly) that Bull’s story could not live up to the heart break that he had received in past stories. I was wrong. This story not only did is past love justice but it really addressed the character of Bull and what makes him my favorite character. I read the book in one sitting, late at night and found my emotions spilling out from me as I read. I could not have loved this book more. The plot was amazing and was a great addition to the series previous story lines. All the favorite characters were there (including characters from another MN Forgy series) and the development of the main characters love was fantastic. I would recommend this story as well as the entire series to anyone. It is as close to perfect as I imagine Bull’s story could be.
WOW, Why did this story ever have to end? I felt like I need more Bull and Little Bee by the end. I was craving them throughout the entire story, every page I just felt like I couldn’t get enough. This author once again has blown me away with her words, she can really get the story across to any reader. It’s a kinda fast pace read and I would so recommend you read the other stories in the series as it makes much more sense that way. The characters don’t really change in fact they grow, well all but Anahi she’s a newbie and one that is easy to fall in love with, her strength is out of this world great. She makes one hell of a match for Bull. Bull is another story reading about the Prez and his demons are very different normally you hear about him being strong or bullheaded but not this Bull he’s way different, a side of him that is so worth reading about over and over. I so could sit here and just talk and talk about this story as it’s so fresh in my mind but I’m not going to. MUST READ over and over again. The ending really blows your mind, hell the middle, start all of it really does. Just grab it and read it. I’m dead serious.
