A standalone teacher/student romance in the What He Doesn’t Know series. I never learn my lesson. And I always want what I can’t have. When Sarah Henderson walks into my life, I tell myself she’s off limits. She’s my student, sixteen years younger than me, and my boss’s niece. It doesn’t matter that I see the same pain reflected in her eyes that I have in my own, or that the dead organ better … or that the dead organ better known as my heart kicks to life when she’s around.
I’ve been here before, and I know how this ends.
It’s been two years since I fell for the last woman I knew I couldn’t have, the one with the ring on her finger that I chose to ignore.
Two years of trying to overcome that heartache when Sarah slides into my life.
Another woman I can’t have. Another woman I can’t stop myself from wanting.
I never learn my lesson, but with a constant reminder of how that last forbidden love burned, I think I’ve finally learned this one.
This time, I won’t chase what’s off limits.
This time, I’m staying away.
And I’ll keep telling myself that until I believe it.

What He Never Knew was a beautiful, breathtaking, powerful, moving, and emotional love story that I absolutely loved with all of my heart and soul! The storyline and characters simply blew me away, and I was left in awe of Kandi Steiner’s talent. What He Never Knew has hands down been Kandi Steiner’s BEST novel to date, and I guarantee you’ll fall in love with it just as much as I did!
The storyline wasn’t what I originally expected for Reese and Sarah’s story, but I loved it nonetheless. I will warn you, What He Never Knew does contain subject matter that may be a trigger for some readers, especially women. It was sometimes difficult to read, but the journey was ultimately very worth it in the end. Kandi Steiner’s storytelling talent is a true gift from God, and I’m so glad that she shares it with all of us. Her passion, drive, and strength poured onto the pages of Reese and Sarah’s story, and I was captivated and enthralled from beginning to end. I was wholly entranced by Steiner’s prose, and never wanted the book to end. Kandi Steiner is an extraordinary artist that continues to hone her craft into some of the best romances I’ve ever had the pleasure to read. What He Never Knew was a true masterpiece of contemporary romance, I would HIGHLY recommend it!
The characters were absolutely PHENOMENAL. Reese Walker and Sarah Henderson completely stole my heart, and I fell head over heels in love with them and their unforgettable story. Reese and Sarah, despite the sixteen year age difference, were exquisite together. I loved their personalities, sizzling chemistry and deep connection together, and how their relationship progressed throughout. I loved reading the story from Reese and Sarah’s point of view, and all of their banter and interactions with each other. Reese and Sarah were a match made in heaven, and the sixteen year age gap between them was a complete non-issue. Sarah was very mature for her age, and the deep, special, and meaningful bond she shared with Reese was pure magic. I was envious of Reese and Sarah’s relationship, but honestly couldn’t have been happier for them. Reese and Sarah’s journey was anything but easy, and it dealt with a difficult yet very important topic, but every single high and low moment was completely worth it in the end. The conclusion was absolutely perfect and more than I ever dreamed possible.
What Ne Never Knew was a MASTERPIECE of contemporary romance, and hands down Kandi Steiner’s BEST novel to date! Words can’t describe how much I loved these characters and this story, and I feel like what I’ve written so far in this review is still inadequate for how truly breathtaking and unputdownable What He Never Knew was. Kandi Steiner wove a tale so beautiful and powerful and moving that I had no other choice but to fall in love and be captured by everything. She blew me away with Reese and Sarah’s beautiful, emotional, and breathtaking story, and I would HIGHLY recommend it! Kandi Steiner continues to be a TOP FAVORITE author, and I am dying to devour whatever she releases next!
What He Never Knew by Kandi Steiner is book three in her What He Doesn’t Know series and believe me when I say, you need to read this book, bad !
What He Never Knew is Reese and Sarah’s story and can be read as standalone. For the best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order.
Reese Walker, yes ” The ” Reese from What He Doesn’t Know, is a broken man. He put all his love in a doomed relationship. He still loves Charlie, who’s back together with Cameron, her husband. He longs for family, for fitting in, for belonging somewhere. He’s a highly talented pianist, but his private life is a disaster. And then comes Sarah.
Sarah Henderson is a young woman who’s through a lot to put it mildly. She’s a talented student with big dreams. Reese becomes her new teacher after she up and left college. Both are battered people. Battered but not broken. Reese is still hung up on his unrequited love and Sarah’s world was put upside down and she has to put herself back together. She has a long road to travel.
What He Never Knew is a book that deals with sensitve subjects and sometimes I had to put it down and take a breather. But, the story is so so worth reading, and reading a second and third time. After reading book one and two I didn’t care much for Reese. I thought of him as not so good man. Charlie was my favorite character and I loved her. But now everything has changed. Somehow he’s the true the victim, the loser in all this drama. He lost the woman he loves, the child he believed was his and he begged to have contact to – my heart was breaking for this poor man, I was in tears – literally. He has my deepest compassion. Charlie was the one who made me angry this time. She in all her goodie two shoe-ness can’t let him be. It hurt me reading how she over and over breaks his heart and simply can’t let the man be. Sorry, not sorry for the rant.
Every time I read a book by this author I think, that’s it, that’s my favorite read by her. And then the next book releases and it’s an even better one.
What He Never Knew is a touching story who gave me all the feels. I could feel every emotion in the words, the pain, the desperation, the brokeness, the hope and the sacrifices that were made.
Fazit: Love conquers everything. I highly recommend this emotional read and wish I could give 6 stars.
Well, once again, Kandi Steiner has hit it hard with the feels and the concept of this story. After the prior duet, I was very curious to see if Reese would get his story. Steiner did not disappoint with this one as you get the raw, angsty feels from Reese. His brooding just makes you want to snuggle him and you really get a sense of the pain he went through prior. While you could read this one as a standalone, it would totally spoil the prior books in the What He Doesn’t Know series, so I highly recommend you pick those books up first before reading this one.
Sarah is a broken soul which I connected to in every level because that was me too. The trauma that she endured was so heartbreaking that it really hits you hard. But you put two broken souls together and they mend each other. That was the stunning thing about this story. How through all the pain that these two went through, that they found each other in their darkest times and built sparks within each other. While their journey is not without bumps, their love conquers all. I love the outcome of this story as it makes you really feel and makes you really want to be the difference as well.
Overall, this was a great addition to the series. It follows the same angst feel and wraps you up in the words. I could not put it down at all. I felt the words bleed off the page and seep into my soul. Steiner is a beyond amazing author and I am so glad I discovered her.
A heart wrenching tale of age-gap love which wasn’t supposed to happen but it just sprouts and blooms and sways to the beautiful piano music in midst of personal devastations. Kandi writes with a lot of heart. Tears flow out of her pen and she soaks the pages crimson with bleeding hearts. Very touching and invoking sympathy, her characters are real and vulnerable at all times.
“Like someone has their fist inside my rib cage, fingers wrapped around my heart in a vise grip.”
This book highlights the healing power of music, It’s ability to mend hearts, bring them together and provide a crutch to disabled souls.
Two characters limping around after personal tragedies have struck them down, drowning in darkness and despair
The person who left had the most power, and the person left behind had the most despair. One would move on, the other would live in heartbreak until enough time had passed.
Reese Walker is shit out of luck. Everything he touches, crumbles to dust. His love always unrequited, off limits. His personal grey cloud follows him wherever he goes. Morose, dejected, defeated
He meets his new student-Sarah Henderson. She’s been through a lot….like A LOT !!
And she’s still standing, that’s an achievement in itself. But she’s scared, terrified, distrusting, her walls up she avoids proximities. She just wants to disappear, be invisible, not be acknowledged or touched. Just wants to be left alone with her bf-The Piano
I was the girl who cried wolf. But I vowed to myself that I would not be the girl who let the wolf win.
They both are slaves of self-flagellation and weighed down by self doubts.
A seemingly symbiotic relationship develops and he teaches her music and she writes a brand new song in his heart.
Like Black & White Piano keys they sit together and create beautiful music, on the piano and in their hearts.
It’s a angsty, raw, soulful story which has lot of fantastic content. This was a highly anticipated story ever since WHDK the duet. Though I have to admit, appearance of Charlie again and again irked me a bit, she had to know that scratching at the scab gotta hurt a lot and keep the wound afresh. Maybe that twisted the knife in the gut a little bit more, so all in all good thinking Kandi!!
Go ahead and pick this up if you’re a masochist who needs their hearts mauled and eyes puffed and red.
4 stars for Adorable Rojo
Ever since I closed my kindle on the last page of the ‘What He Doesn’t Know’ series by Kandi Steiner, I’ve been wondering… what about Reese. When is he going t get his HEA?
Well, the answer is…
Now.
And what a story it is!
Reese was left a torn and broken man at the end of the duet, and that just felt so wrong, even if Charlie wasn’t the woman meant for him.
But now?
Now it’s his time to truly shine. To be the man he always was meant to be and for that he had to find Sarah, or she to find him as it turned out.
This is a story that digs into your soul and leaves and leaves an undeniable feeling of awe. It’s a stunning beautiful heartbreaking tale of loss and redemption. A slow burning story of love bringing two broken souls together and letting them mend, one day, one touch, one kiss at a time.
The heat and chemistry between them is intense and undeniable.
These two, although tormented by their past are the perfect match. They complete each other and it’s lovely to watch them grow and heal.
What He Never Knew? How fantastic his story would be.
One-Click this magical book today, but heep your tissues handy, cos’ you’ll need them
Reese was my guy I rooted for in the What He Doesn’t Know duet. I was so heart broken for him and Kandi Steiner brings us his after…
Charlie is the previous books heroine. She was the most frustrating woman because of the back and forth. With What He Never Knew, I feel that Charlie does not know how to let Reese go. So he goes on this heartbreaking journey for two years. I felt for him and wanted to put the pieces back together. That is where Sarah comes in.
Her beginning made me cry and feel angry. Her journey was uplifting and the connection she has with Reese was amazing. I cried, laughed, and cried some more. I was cheering on Reese when he finally asked to be free from Charlie. That is when I knew he was ready to move forward.
I loved all things about this book. Seeing the true Reese with regrets and sorrow will really pull on your heart strings. The ending was perfect!!
Kandi Steiner puts her heart and soul into her writing and you can feel that as you read. She has a way of combining all the emotions
This is the third book of the What He Doesn’t Know series it can be read as a stand-alone, but you lose out an incredible duet and the history of some of the characters if you don’t read the duet.
Reading the emotional prologue told me that this one was going to be full of angst and emotional. My heart hurt terribly for Sarah.
Sarah is attending college following her dream of playing Carnegie one day. She has one semester left till graduation when something tragic happens at school from someone that she trusted. Returning home for winter break she knows that she will never be returning to college. Soon after returning home she shaves her head, changes how she dresses and is just not herself, her Mom knows something is wrong but Sarah will not open up. Sarah decides she wants to go stay with her Aunt and Uncle.
Reese can’t seem to move on from getting his heart broke two years ago from the only women he’s loved. Making that more difficult is the fact that he works at the same school as she does. He is just going thru the motions of living, working at the school and playing the piano at an upscale restaurant. His friend and the owner of the restaurant is Sarah’s uncle and he wants Reese to help his niece by tutoring her on the piano.
This is the story of two broken and lost souls trying to dig themselves out of the dark. Thru their love of music and the trust and friendship they build they are able to see the light. It is told in dual pov which I love especially with this kind of story where you want to know what each are thinking. Both characters were strong and determined and I love all of their interactions and as they got more comfortable with each other the banter.
I won’t say much more than that because I don’t want to spoil anything, going in blind is the way to go with this story. This book is a definite must read the writing was incredible.
Let me tell you something: I hate love triangles.
Let me tell you something else: Kandi Steiner wrote a PERFECT love triangle and I loved it, it blew my mind.
So, the guy that ended miserable and alone in the duet (What He Doesn’t Know and What He Always Knew) got a book. And this is it!
Kandi writes beautifully, we all know that. I love how she treats her characters with the utmost care, giving them the happy ending they deserve.
Reese and Sarah are two broken souls that got together to fix each other with the purest love.
WHNK is emotional, sexy, heartbreaking and poetic.
I have waited what feels like FOREVER to have this characters HEA and to FINALLY get it, feels like coming home. HAPPY DANCE I NEEDED to know how he was going to get his HEA after having his (and my) heart ripped out in book 2, WHAT HE ALWAYS KNEW.
“I knew he saw the same pain in me that I saw in him. And maybe that was the only reason we saw it at all — because we lived it. You had to understand what that felt like to be able to recognize it, like there was an exclusive club for the eternally heartbroken.” -Sarah
This story was fussed with raw emotions. Visceral pain. Pain that I could feel while reading. Both these characters have been through SO MUCH heartache in their lives that they are both left feeling unworthy of love and damaged beyond repair. And if you’ve read books 1 and 2 in this series, you KNOW what type of pain HE’S been through. *tears* But through their mutual love of piano, they find hope, love, and healing. They were creating a song of their own, one that showed their ups and downs both in their personal situations and in their relationship together. Kandi Steiner does a beautiful job of telling a story about two characters that have to face their flaws and learn to live with them. Those flaws are a part of them and are very much still lovable.
“You make me feel worthy again, like I’m not damaged, like I’m cherished and revered and cared for.” -Sarah.
It was like music to my soul to have this characters HEA. I am SO HAPPY that Kandi took the time to write HIS story. HE needed a HEA and he found that through Sarah. I do not want to give names in my review for fear that you (the person looking at my review) will get a spoiler because this is book THREE in the series and the series starts out as a love TRIANGLE…so inevitably one person is left heartbroken. BUT, as you can guess, the one that is left heartbroken, has his heart put back together in THIS book! So if you’ve read the first two books in this series, you WILL want to read this book.
My only “hang up” with this book was at times the pace was a bit slow for me, but this type of story needed slow, so the characters could build up to their crescendo of a relationship. But in comparison to the rest of the book, this minor “hang up” didn’t ruin the story for me, I was still pulled in by Kandi’s writing and the slow candance helped create a beautiful love story nonetheless.
“She was the light I never thought I’d see again, the purpose I thought I’d lost forever.”
So if you’re in the mood for a student/teacher/large age gap story, give this book a go!

Gah! This book! Finally, Reese gets his HEA! My heart should have been ready for this journey, but I wasn’t prepared. This story is so raw and emotional! So many hard hitting topics, and my heart felt every emotion.
My heart completely broke for both Reese and Sarah throughout this story. They have both been through so much and are left broken and terrified to take a chance at love. They are both stronger than they know and find help and comfort in each other when they least expect it.
I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone, you need to go into this story ready for your heart to be torn in a hundred directions but have no fear, you will get through it. There is so much angst, trauma, and love in this story. I couldn’t get enough.
Note: This story includes a topic that may be a trigger for some women.
If you haven’t read the What He Doesn’t Know duet, you should! You’ll meet Reese and watch him go through everything that leads him to this story.
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.
I admit when I first read the description of this book I was torn. The age difference between Reece and Sarah is 16 years and the cover model doesn’t look like he’s over 30. But knowing a book with a minor in this position wouldn’t be so openly promoted (thank goodness!!) I read it. And I’m so glad I did.
Sarah is a 21 year old college senior, one semester away from graduating when she is the victim of a horrifying crime. When she isn’t believed, she leaves school never to return. She goes home to Atlanta and changes everything about herself – the books she reads, her wardrobe, and even shaves her head. She ends up in Philadelphia staying with her aunt and uncle to study under well known pianist Reece, who teaches at the school where her uncle is headmaster. They recognize the trauma in each other but he hesitates to move past friendship and teacher/student and her trauma won’t allow her to go further.
This book was so hard to put down. It’s a beautiful slow burn love story – they both have a lot of baggage to unpack and resolve before anything can happen. But I loved every bit of this book.
Two passages I highlighted because they really spoke to me:
“The truth was there was no winning – not when you’d been raped. Not when the first man to ever touch you did so without asking permission, without kissing you first, without telling you he loved you. On that cold, wet, tile floor of my dorm room shower, I realized my home had been full of monsters all along. I’d just never seen them before. And now that I had, there was no going back. I was the girl who cried wolf. But I vowed to myself that I would not be the girl who let the wolf win.”
“She was quiet, but in a way only a fire can be.”
The first is from the prologue and it is so powerful. It really speaks to Sarah’s strength and character. The second was from chapter 3, when Reece and Sarah are first getting to know each other. He has no idea what she has been through in her life, but can see the fire inside her so clearly.
I definitely recommend this book.
4.5 stars
Kandi Steiner is one of those authors that I was aware of but never took the time to read, and now I’m wondering why it took me so long to pick up her books.
What He Never Knew is the third book in the What He Doesn’t Know series, and while it can be read as a standalone I would highly recommend reading the two books prior to it first. I started the series with this book and even though was able to fully enjoy the story I wished I had read the other two if not just to give me more background on Reese.
What He Never Knew is an emotional read that will have your feelings on one wild rollercoaster from the first page to the last. Sarah has a past that has changed her in a way she never could have imagined. Reese may be exactly why she needs to find herself again. I don’t want to say much and risk running the story, but Reese and Sarah are exactly what each other needs in order to repair the damage of their past and nice on.
Overall this book was fantastic, now I’m going back to read the first two books in the series to see what I’ve been missing.
~ Jessica
This is a great conclusion to an already amazing series. Rest assured this is a standalone.. A beautiful heartfelt story that made me feel so much.
Reese is just existing. Going to work teaching piano, playing it in a restaurant. He has suffered an heartbreak that left him shattered and unable to move on from. He gets a young student for the summer, Sarah. Her world has always been centred around playing the piano. A few months shy of graduating college, she leaves. She comes back a different person. She went through a traumatic experience. Reese will help her overcome her fear of the piano and bring her to her goals.
Reese was already a big part of the What He Doesn’t Know Duet. Now he gets to tell his own story and get his HEA. This story was gut wrenching and just plain made me shed quite a few tears. They both went through difficult experiences that left them shattered.
A beautiful story about getting second chances, healing and overcoming difficult events. Together they will heal each other. They have quite a few years apart and it’s a teacher/student kind of story. She’s mature for her age and they connect. Bottomline is this is a must read.
Standalone told in a dual POV with an amazing HEA. I strongly recommend this story.

Oh, my heart, this book was everything and more.
I felt that Kandi poured her heart out in this book, so much emotion, angst, the level of feelings is so strong that makes you breathless. My skin felt electrified, and my stomach was a mess, I couldn’t eat or drink, my head was in a completed fog after finished this masterpiece, and don’t start with the music, dear lord, that is another story, is so well placed with the book, astonishing soundtrack.
Sarah, my heart ached for her, her life was her music, her best friend was her music, and this trust has broken her in the worst way possible.
Oh, Reese, I was waiting for his HEA, a love him, his soul shredded. He can’t see anything in front of him than his own thoughts of loss & pain. He is so deep in sorrow & darkness.
Sarah is something he doesn’t understand, but he can’t stop thinking about her.
Sarah & Reese love story is a slow burn, and that got me really hard.
This book is so far one of the best reading of 2019.
All the amazing stars.
Kandi you never stop to amaze me!!!
I was blown away!
Reese and Sarah were just everything. I expected a more tabooish plot but, I am super happy and satisfied with what Steiner delivered.
I really, R E A L L Y hated Charlie in this installment, I wanted to effing strangle her.
Steiner put my emotions through the ringer but, in the end I was left happy and in love

And if you want a dog that steals your heart, Kandi Steiner gives you just what you want.
This was such a great read by Kandi Steiner. It was thought provoking, emotional, steamy, and full of angst. SO much angst. Both of the main characters have pasts that come with full of baggage. But, of course, that is what makes such a great story. The writing is phenomenal. The characters are flawed but human which makes them relatable.
Some quotes that I absolutely fell in love with:
“his eyes like a forbidden mystery novel that somehow escaped a book burning as he glanced around the room”.
“We are all just humans who want to feel like we’re not alone, even when we are”.
“Reese Walker was only thirty-seven years old, but he’d lived a thousand lives. Of that, I was sure”.
*I will point out that I was not able to read the first two books in the series and I wish I would have. This is a standalone book so you can read What He Never Knew without reading the first two HOWEVER, I wish I had* So, keep that in mind. I will be going back and reading those as well though.
What He Never Knew by Kandi Steiner is on sale on February 21st. Don’t miss out on this great read.
Unlike a lot of readers, I did not read the What He Doesn’t Know duet leading into this book and I actually think I’m grateful for that.
Let me explain. Before I purchase anything I always read reviews; first because I find them helpful, second for the pure enjoyment of reading ones that are witty or insightful or for information on assembly. Have you ever noticed that assembly manuals are almost worthless when you buy something that requires lots of parts and tools? You actually have better luck finding information on YouTube or by reading reviews than by reading the manual that came with your new product. Yes, I read the manuals too. I basically read everything.
Anway…after I sat and wrote my review for What He Never Knew, yes, I actually hand write my reviews first before retyping them. FYI, they drastically change by the time it lands here, but at least by hand writing them first it helps me gather my thoughts.
So, as I was saying, I went to post my review on Goodreads and saw there was a duet prior to this book (I actually didn’t know that). When I began reading the book, I suspected there might have been a story leading into this one, but honestly Kandi Steiner never once made me pause and question what was going on. She wove a beautiful, yet heartbreaking story about two broken people and the foundation was all there. Her tragic story about Reese and Sarah drew me in right from the beginning and so many times I wondered if healing was what they needed from each other instead of falling in love. It was magic to watch their scars heal up and then when Reese and Sarah reached the tipping point when they were actually ready to make that next step. It wasn’t rushed or strained, it was actually quite lovely, so perfectly right, I would say Kandi Steiner is the queen of crafting a difficult story into beautiful moments.
For those who didn’t read the duet, like myself, know Reese does open up and tell his story in this book. So reading the duet prior to this one isn’t a requirement. What He Never Knew is a complete standalone.
Reese Walker is a broken man, in love with a woman he can never have. A married woman. His best friends sister. She’s having a family, she’s happy and she has moved on. Reese wakes up, goes to work, sees her, loves her from afar, goes home to an empty house, goes to sleeps, next day repeat. He hasn’t moved on. What’s the point. He’s already met the woman he was supposed to love and she doesn’t love him back, he might as well resign himself to that knowledge and know his life is what it is.
That is until he meets Sarah Henderson. She is the first person to bring sunshine back into his days. She is the first person to bring meaning back to his piano playing. She is the first person to get his thinking off the girl he can’t have. She is everything he thought he couldn’t have. Although, he really can’t have her either. Sarah is his student. She isn’t exactly available. Why does he always desire someone he can’t have? Why can’t he just be happy?
“I’ve never been one to gravitate toward the things that were best for me in my life.”-Reese Walker
As for Sarah, I will warn, if you suffer from PTSD and are triggered by by the mention of rape in any form this book may not be for you. Now Kandi Steiner doesn’t go into detail by any means, but the aftermath, the fallout, the guilt, the emotional trauma, everything that goes hand in hand with the horrible act is there written in black and white. I have never been through such a life changing event, but Steiner put me there empathically, emotionally, physically. I ached for Sarah everytime she relieved it.
Her abuse, along with an injury caused from her abuser, sets her back on her journey to becoming a concert pianist. She seeks out Reese Walker to mentor her on the road to play at Carnegie Hall. A lofty goal, but one she’s had her entire life. Sarah is very talented, but she has a huge emotional hurdle to jump. She has to learn to love the piano again and not associate the thing she loves with the abuse she received.
For both Reese and Sarah, they are actually perfect for each other, but in reality they have a mountain to climb before they are actually good for each other.
Reese has given up hope, looking at himself as a washed up old man teaching to children who have loftier dreams than himself. However, Sarah looks at him with great potential and constantly reminds him that he is never too old to dream. On the other hand, Sarah who has been told her entire life she is never good enough, is filled with fire and loves proving people wrong. It is this tenacity that Reese discovers and admires in her. He knows she has the willpower to make it to New York now he just has to get her to believe in herself and find her passion to play once again.
These two passionate people made me ache for their pain. Artists in general are known for their deep wells of self-torture and that’s typically when they create the most beautiful and artistic pieces. Know this book will rip you to shreds, the music, at times, may sound harsh, but in the end Kandi Steiner creates a gorgeous, well orchestrated symphony.
“We’re artists. We’re musicians. We’re…We’re not destined to run from our misery, we’re destined to bathe in it – and to somehow find a way to make it beautiful.” Reese Walker
Oh Ms. Steiner, I crown you the queen of angst! You have a magical talent to take a reader’s heart and mind and put them in a blender set on frappe!
I have loved Reese since the What He Doesn’t Know Duet. I was hoping a praying for his beautiful ending to go with his beautiful soul.
Ms. Steiner gives us this for Reese and so much more.
Sarah was the perfect soul to find Reese. She was tragically hurt, she has a beautiful soul and she is magical at the piano. She went through the absolute worst thing that can happen to a human and she was scarred, she was scared and she was determined to fulfill her dream despite it.
If you get the e-edition of this book, you are going to be blown away by the links to the music, interwoven in the story. I was listening and reading and it just made the story more epic, more real, more everything. Even if you are not a classical music fan, you will appreciate how much the music plays into the story.
You see past characters, and I swear I wanted to smack one in particular, I am not going to say who, but believe me you are gonna want to also! Reese is trying hard to move on from the past and this person keeps dragging him back!! I was yelling “Stop it” every time!
Reese and Sarah heal each other through music, through love and through friendship and trust. Their story is going to move you, just like it moved me.
A true testament to fantastic writing, this book is going to give you all the feels, in epic Kandi Steiner fashion!
