What Happens in Vegas… is the 15th title in the award winning Dev Haskell series. P.I. Dev Haskell travels out to Vegas to help his friend Goose. He brings sexy Barbie Dahl, a Barbie doll fanatic with him, along with his golden retriever Morton and Barbie’s dog, Sugar. Yeah, Barbie. The chick with the pink house, the pink car, pink clothes, pink high heels…that Barbie. Once in Vegas things … in Vegas things seem to go from bad to worse. Crime lord Tubby Gustafson is somehow involved, of course Goose is there and Goose’s brother Kenny who Barbie suddenly develops a thing for, surprise, surprise. Let’s just say nothing seems to go Dev’s way, but then what did you expect with the laziest P.I. in town? What Happens in Vegas…? You won’t believe it! Fans of Carl Hiaasen and Tim Dorsey love it!

Already reviwed. It was fun.
I read this book right after a two-day visit to Las Vegas. It was fun to relive the strip with a humorous character, Barbie Dahl and her friend Ken. I’m glad I didn’t run into all the Barbie fans but wish I had half of Barbie’s luck and a little of what she won while I was there. Just a fun book to read.
I always enjoy Dev
I’m a big fan of Dev Haskell, on to the next book. Many thanks to Mike Faricy for continuing his great works.
I enjoyed this book for some light reading. The characters were fun and though I at first found them unbelievable, on second thought I know people somewhat similar.
I always enjoy books with story and humor.
Good read
Live Dev Haskell!!!
Really enjoyable!
A fun read. The adventures of Dev Haskell are always entertaining.
The book is good as all Mike Faricy’ books are, just I think it was missing something,it was to simple, not what I was used to in a Dev Haskell novel.
This book was not for me. The writing was fine, just not my cup of tea. I did try. I went back to it 2 times to read, but I just couldn’t do it. It’s funny because it’s in a genre I was contemplating writing, but after reading it I’ve decided against that, too.
Perhaps it was ther description or treatment of the woman. I’m just not sure what exactly turned me off, but no I didn’t like it.
Typical of this series. Easy read. Witty, unbelievable characters, events and outcomes. Easy to pick up and easy to put down.
Most ridiculous books this author has released. Trip to Vegas, Female travel companion had plastic surgery to look like a very famous children’s doll, lot of winning at the tables for her then she lucks into a contract to film commercials for a competing hotel …, oh hell, stupid storey, missing out on humor and just not one of his best efforts.
Didn’t really care for storyline.
Hard to believe Mike Faricy wrote this one. It’s dreadful.
I love this series, but not this book. Way to much Barbie, romance, etc.
Not as good as his other books.
I found this book offensive in many ways. Didn’t get past page 12.
This was an ok read. Didn’t really keep my attention too much, evidenced by my not remembering much about it.
