What Happens in Vegas… is the 15th title in the award winning Dev Haskell series. P.I. Dev Haskell travels out to Vegas to help his friend Goose. He brings sexy Barbie Dahl, a Barbie doll fanatic with him, along with his golden retriever Morton and Barbie’s dog, Sugar. Yeah, Barbie. The chick with the pink house, the pink car, pink clothes, pink high heels…that Barbie. Once in Vegas things … in Vegas things seem to go from bad to worse. Crime lord Tubby Gustafson is somehow involved, of course Goose is there and Goose’s brother Kenny who Barbie suddenly develops a thing for, surprise, surprise. Let’s just say nothing seems to go Dev’s way, but then what did you expect with the laziest P.I. in town? What Happens in Vegas…? You won’t believe it! Fans of Carl Hiaasen and Tim Dorsey love it!

I have read other books of Dev Haskell and enjoy the lightheartedness of his predicaments.
A struggle to finish. Gave great detail in weird places. Finally got to the end but don’t know what happened! Nothing was solved!
Não gostei do PI Dev Haskell. Me parece preguiçoso, e um tanto incompetente.
Meio dumb também. Só pensa “naquilo.”
Faint traces of Mike’s humor. Not too much happening. His famous protagonist, the crusty, cynical P.I. Haskell comes through as a dolt, the willing victim of an egotistic, limited intelligence, albeit with substantial racks, all-in-pink doll, whose whole life is about Barbie. Which brings me to a three-word review summary: too much Barbie.
I’ll never like pink again.
This book was s very good read. I enjoyed it, was different. Especially taking place in the, hotel & casino.
Did not care for it. Predictable and unlikely a guy would take a gal on a trip if they didn’t think more of each other.
Pure fun, loved the characters, kept me laughing, loved it.
I cannot delete stars, as I did not read book.
Well, darn it. I love Dev Haskell and was so looking forward to a romping good time in Vegas with Dev, but it really missed the mark. Way too much time spent on Barbie and when things start to get interesting……..it just up and ends. I bet you could rewrite this Mike and make it absolutely Dev Haskell awesome!
I like this series, but this book was a little too silly.
I didn’t like this book. I couldn’t finish.
good book
