Wills and his twin Henry decide to throw a massive, three-day Christmas blowout at their beach house on Tybee. But a Christmas party needs decorations. And cookies. And pie. Wills decides it’s his sworn duty to provide them all — including Santa hats with everyone’s name fabric-painted onto them — and drags Crispin along in his tinsel-strewn wake. But Christmas is more than sticking black Santa … Santa in the corner and baking (obscene) sugar cookies. And Wills has to figure that out before his party goes to hell.
Part of the Southern Seduction series, the novella “What Christmas Means” will hook you with the comedy and give you that warm Christmas glow you’re looking for in a holiday tale.
“What Christmas Means” tells story of the same holiday party, from a different perspective, of the one in Low Country Lovers’ “Learning to Love Christmas” and Southern Scandal’s “Christmas Cousins.” The stories can all be read as stand-alones in the context of their series, but differ enough in details to be read together.

This is one book in a set of three books revolving around a Christmas blow out that Wills and his twin Henry throw at their beach house in Tybee.
This is told from Wills, Crispin and Henry’s perspective.
I love the relationship between Wills and Crispin. I love how affectionate they are with each other. I love Wills and his enthusiasm for all things Christmas. The way Crispin is tugged along in his wake.
I won’t give any spoilers for this book, but, I highly recommend it for all those who like me are discovering these characters and to all those who already love them.
Wills and his twin Henry decide to throw a three-day Christmas party at their beach house and they invite all of their friends. In this book we get the story from Wills and Crispin’s perspective.
Oh my God!! I hadn’t realized I had missed Wills and Crispin so much! They’re so fun together, their relationship is so beautiful and I love the teasing between them. I also love that Wills loves Christmas so much. I’m a big fan myself, it’s my favorite holiday, and I really enjoyed the festive mood of the book. It really was the perfect Christmas read and I was happy to see this great group of friends spending time together and having fun. Also, my love for Isa has grown even more.
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Love these books, ever since I read my the first story by Julia McBryant I have been hooked. Wills and Crispin are my absolute favorites, watching their relationship evolving is just so beautiful. Best friends to lovers with all the ups and downs that go with building a life together, excepting all of the little faults they have, knowing what to do to help each other, and getting them through all their hurts, can make being together all that much sweeter. Together they put together a holiday get together knowing that being with your friends can be a disaster waiting to happen, to much to drink, not enough thought about your words, hurt feelings, making up, but through it all the love and friendship is always there and so totally worth it!
I was given an ARC in exchange of an honest review. Ever opinion stated is my own.
Wills and Crispin , oh how I love these two. They are the first of Julia’s characters I got to read and I have continued reading every part of their journey. I love how Wills wants everything to be perfect and everyone to have a good time , all the while Crispin is there helping him and supporting him. I can not even tell how much I love these two and would still love to read more from them . It like I am invested in their relationship . Great work McBryant.
I was given this book as an ARC, every opinion is my own.
Wills and Crispin was the first boys I read about from this author, and I loved following them through the slow growing relationship, from meeting every once in a while to living together and being open around others.
And their Christmas together is no different, there is no longer any hesitation, Wills is adamant about everyone having a good time, even if he have to force them.
While Crispin follows behind and keeps him together through it all.
It’s always sweet how they take care of each other in and out of the bedroom, and seeing Wills caring side come out as he bakes and makes people stockings and hats, being the glue that saves the Christmas for so many.
