Charlotte:A dead cat, a stolen seat, and a mouthy Irishman—that’s how this whole thing started. I thought I’d leave the red-headed stranger with dark green eyes behind and good freaking riddance. Except he’s not even close to being gone. Mason McConnell is everywhere, drawing me in, like an invisible thread. I just hope that string doesn’t snap and break my heart.Mason:Two weeks was all I needed … heart.
Mason:
Two weeks was all I needed to go home, spread my cat’s ashes, and visit my brother. But one foolish decision at the airport managed to throw all my plans off track. Somehow, I had unknowingly cast the line, and Charlotte Kelley took the bait.
The chatty, prying American somehow had a way of bringing me back to life.
I didn’t want her under my skin, and I certainly wasn’t expecting her to make her way into my heart, yet once she did, I didn’t want her to leave. But with one secret wedged between us, I’m not sure I have the right to ask her to stay.

It was much fun diving into this book and taking a little trip to Ireland. I loved the description of the places, the food and the glimpses of the dialect.
I am a huge enemy to lovers fan and this book did not disappoint. I enjoyed the interaction between Mason and Charlotte, from the animosity to the friendship and then evolving into more. The backstory of the characters discovering themselves along the way was sweet at times and beyond frustrating others.
I really enjoyed this book. She’s so living my life. Always wanted to go see the cliffs. Mason and Charlotte are wonderful characters who, apparently, were brought together by fate and luck. Great, but sad love story with an hea ending.
What an unexpected book this was. I wasn’t sure what I was going to get but I’m so glad I had a chance to read this. These two b belonged together right from the start but there were times you just wanna throttle them. You won’t be disappointed with this one.
SO SWEET!!! I loved watching Charlotte & Mason keep running into each other, and to try to figure out their attraction. I loved their banter and their hilariousness!
First off the blurb drew me and I had to read this book! I laughed, I swooned, rooted for Mason to get his life together, Charlotte to realize that her ex was a jerk and that Mason was so much better and for her to find her way in life. I loved that we got both point of views. It bought the story so much more. I loved the description of the places in Ireland. It seriously makes me want to visit there even more. I laughed at the sweet way Mason taught Charlotte Gaelic and Irish terms. She was determined to learn. These two has the best way of talking to each other. They help each other heal and see the world a different way. I fell for Mason from the beginning. He was kinda an ass at first but it drew me in even more. I had to know if Charlotte was gonna be the one to tame him. I also loved how everything tied in together. I’d say more but I don’t want to give it away. It was a shock and delight how it all fell into place! Mason and Charlotte have their disagreements but realize their mistakes and learn from them. Sure it takes some wise people to knock some sense into them but they figure it out by themselves. These characters are easily loved. You get drawn in to the story and the places they go intrigue you even more. Mason and Charlotte have chemistry and fire. I am in love with this book!! I am definitely gonna be reading more from these two authors.
When I signed up to review What Are The Chances by Brittany Taylor and Ashley Munoz, I’d only been familiar with Ashley Munoz, and since I love her work, I knew I had to read this. I wasn’t disappointed. Second chances, misunderstandings, new opportunities, and so much more. I really liked this book. The writing for the most part flowed and was seamless between the two authors. The story included a great plot and storyline, and some really good characters…although I will admit to wanting to slap Charlotte more than once because she was a bit too much. That aside, the story is great, the flow is good, it will make you laugh and shake your head, and the interaction between the characters had me turning the page. Can I just say now that I loved Mason? I do. I highly recommend you pick up this book yourself and take a peek. You won’t be disappointed. 4 stars!
Charlotte is headed to Ireland to see if she can find family. As she waits for her flight, nervous as all get out, she runs into arrogant Mason, who has stolen her seat. But fate is funny sometimes. Not only are they seated in the same row on the flight but their pickup is the same person… Mason’s brother Sam who also happens to be friends with Charlotte.
There is a lot of miscommunication/assumptions between Charlotte and Mason. Throw in Charlotte’s never present boyfriend and you have a recipe for a trip of a lifetime, because somewhere along the way, Charlotte and Mason start to have feelings for each other… deep feelings.

Beautifully written, well rounded book with all the feels!
I had so much fun reading this book! Everything that I look for in a fun romance is there. The off-beat situations, the out-there remarks of Charlotte’s character, steamy romance and in What Are The Chances, plenty of self-reflection from both Char and Mase. And, I’m almost hearing that sexy Irish Brogue as I’m reading it. For my ears, that is the sexiest accent in the world.
It might not be a LOL romance, but Mason’s irrepressible wittiness and the vivaciousness of the secondary characters’ personalities of the town’s people had me thinking that I’m desperate to go there and experience the feeling of the place for myself. Charlotte felt like she’d come home, and the warmth I gained from that is exactly what I needed to lift my day. My only issue? I was a passenger in the hour long trip to my work site, when I started this book, and I resented every work minute that I couldn’t spend with my characters. Every. Damn. Minute. I couldn’t wait for that ride home.
Charlotte was a beautiful lost soul, hence her trip, and it was her journey through this book that she demanded space to find her place. And Mason, he was a gorgeous mix of moodiness and valour. How is it that a normally congenial personality can be so fired up by someone, that it bought out every bad trait in him? He just couldn’t stop himself from reacting, and badly.
The heavy theme through here is fate and Carl Jung’s theory of meaningful coincidences That brought back memories of my own studies, endearing this book even further in my bank of favourite books. I thank fate and Mr Jung for Ashley Munoz and Brittany Taylor coming together and writing this book. They are almost a synergistic writing pair and bring out the best in each other. Highly recommended as time and money well spent! Absolutely 5 Stars.
A delightful romance read! The surprises that keeps popping up in this romantic comedy will have you smiling from start to finish. Fate may have a hand with Charlotte and Mason’s journey but they were destined to be together. I loved the characters and cute storyline, the author provided an easy to read story that did not disappoint.
Loved this book from start to finish. Great story! I adored Charlotte. What strength she had! Mason took me a minute to wrap my head around but I quickly adored him too. Lots of heart. Lots of swoony moments. They both had a sense of humor and I chuckled at their banter. Just the right amount of angst. I love both of these authors and to have them write a book together was amazing!
A stolen seat, a dead cat and a swoonworthy Irishman… What’s not to love?!? Mason and Charlotte’s sparks fly off the pages immediately and they don’t stop. I love everything about Mason’s character and he’s everything a book boyfriend should be! Charlotte is just searching for who she is and where she belongs. Her journey to finding it is nothing short of wonderful!
“Fuck it, I tell myself. It hits me. At some point during the rest of our trip, I’m going to kiss Charlotte. I knew it was no longer a matter of if but a matter of when.”
Charlotte planned her trip for a long time. And even with one goal in mind, facing the airport, queues and the much feared plane is causing her to have a minor hyperventilation crisis. And what was already bad may get worse. When she returns to her seat in the waiting room, her things are thrown to the ground. And an ill-mannered but handsome guy with a box on his lap is in place.
Not letting down, she tries to have a conversation with the guy. But he’s not interested. But a very imaginative Charlotte, wondering if what he has in the box is a human head, will leave no choice for the poor guy. And if that conversation was already bizarre, finding that the two are in the same row of the plane, separated by just a seat with a gentle lady, is synonymous that this trip will be agitating. But between attempts at conversation, a split earpiece and a nap with an indiscreet hand, Charlotte arouses Mason’s wrath for forgetting a small detail: she has a boyfriend.
But upon arriving in Ireland, they will find that fate has decided to play a trick. Mason’s brother, who came to pick him up at the airport, is also Charlotte’s ride, and her boyfriend’s best friend. Forced to share the same house and the same bed after a misunderstanding, not even Charlotte’s pillow barrier will be able to separate these two.
Charlotte is in search of her roots, her family. Mason just wants to spread the ashes of his cat. Charlotte is charmed by the local landscape. Mason left his homeland for a situation in the past. But as they embark on a journey together, among steep hills, rides, stolen wallets, a colder weather and a lot of confusion, the shadow of Charlotte’s boyfriend increasingly pursues them, as feelings thrive. But what if Mason is the guardian of a secret that can ruin or free Charlotte? Maybe they have a chance?
A book about personal search, about self-knowledge, new discoveries, facing the past and not being afraid. Funny scenes are part, as is romance, but the focus is the characters’ journey. All packed by the beautiful landscape of Ireland.

A dead cat, a stolen seat at the airport, and a mouthy Irishman makes for an amazing story!! It sounds like a crazy comedy but this book has it all.
Charlotte, a beautiful American, is off to Ireland to locate family after doing an ancestry DNA test. Mason, a sexy Irishman, is headed back home to spread his cats ashes and visit his brother. Their chance meeting isn’t love at first sight but more of annoyed with each other. They have no idea that they will see each other time and time again after this chance meeting.
What Are The Chances is a wonderful enemies to lovers story! It had me hooked from the beginning to the end. It’s an EMOTIONAL rollercoaster but well worth the ride!! It had me laughing at times and sad at other times. It also has angst and I loved the banter between Charlotte and Mason.
This book was detailed and well written. This is the first book these two authors have written together. I have to say it was GREAT!! I will definitely be reading more from both authors and hopefully more from them together. This is a favorite of mine this year and I recommend reading it!!
5 Stars
I loved reading What Are the Chances! This contemporary romance grabbed my attention within the first few pages, and I was mesmerized to the end. It was an absolutely enchanting story!
Charlotte was a little bit lost at first. Despite a tough childhood, she was somewhat innocent and naive. Mason was rather maddening with his ever changing moods. Talk about emotional whiplash! While I found both of them frustrating time after time, it was undeniable that they belonged together and brought out the best in each other.
The plot was both unique and interesting. The blurb says it all: “a dead cat, a stolen seat, and a mouthy Irishman.” It sounds like the start of a good joke, right? It’s not. It’s the start of a great book!
This is the first time Brittany Taylor and Ashley Munoz have teamed up to co-author a book. I surely hope it’s not the last because they make a fabulous team! Perhaps they will consider giving Sam a book, a prequel of sorts.
OMGoodness, did I love this book!!!! Was everything I wanted it to be and more. Charlotte, so confused with her life, searching for more… Mason, just wanting to do due diligence to his faithful companion…fate has things set up for their crosses to pass, more than once, with a series of mishaps and adventures along the way… is it destiny for them to be together??? What are the chances?
Char and Mason meet at an airport and do not like each other. Then as fate brings them together again and again they find the others not so bad after all. This was a great story about never giving up on yourself or what you believe in. Reading so much about Ireland was a very exciting addition.
5+ Stars! This rom-com will pull at your heart strings and make you feel all kinds of emotions. At times I wanted to cry from feeling these characters so hard. I also laughed out loud a couple of times, still smiling thinking about the ending. Ladies- you rocked this book!
This story was amazing.
What Are The Chance was certainly not what I expected when I started reading it, I knew it would be a good read. These authors are amazing on their own, so place them together.. I just knew we were in for a treat and of course, they blew me away. It was witty, it was fun, it was unique and funny, and a book I just couldn’t put down.
Charlotte and Mason now hold my heart! Gah! I just adored Charlotte… Everything about her and Mason? A hot Irishman? Yes, please! They were intense, the chemistry between the two was on fire, and it was addictive to read. Their banter was witty and fun and the book overall just flowed so easily and it was an easy, nice paced cheeky romance!
I highly recommend grabbing a copy!
