She craves excitement. His children need a mother. Can they overcome secrets to let love ride off into the sunset?
Tessa O’Connor’s longing for adventure is unsated by the boring men in her high-society circles. So the bold young woman plots her escape by answering the eloquent courtship letters of a Montana rancher. Fleeing her wealthy family on a midnight train, she’s delighted the man is … delighted the man is handsomer than she imagined but perplexed by his dour demeanor.
Dean Samuels doesn’t know where to turn. Raising two kids and running the ranch after his wife’s untimely death has become a mountainous task. Captivated by Tessa, he dreads the day when he must confess his younger brother wrote every word of his heartfelt correspondence.
While wedding bells duly chime, Tessa is devastated when she discovers the betrayal of her most intimate moments and demands they sleep apart. And with his children now firmly attached to her, Dean worries he’s damaged more hearts than just his own.
Will Tessa and Dean find their way back to trust and grow a beautiful future?

I like the story about and the great world that building
The beginning of a wonderful series of stories around three wonderful brothers from the town of Dawson Montana.
Great characters that immediately draw you in to their lives.
Sound story base whilst laying the threads for future stories. Real laugh out loud moments, tender moments, sad reflective moments.
Found it hard to put down
Highly recommended
Tessa and Dean are believable characters and their story, though unbelieveable by todays standards feels real for the time in which it is set. Fun and easy reading.

Another flaw was that the frontier woman’s life was really arduous, and these books made it seem like a …
I love reading about the old west.
Sweet book.
The entire Series is one you cannot put down. Captivating characters with unique personalities. If you love to escape from reality, you’ll enjoy the laughter and heartache unique to each person. Fall in love, rejoice in triumph, cry in death.
Whimsical characters along with stuffed shirts. I whole heartedly recommend this to anyone interested …
Poorly written, not believable, did not even finish it!
Loved this book
I love the characters
In reading this series, I found the majority of the historical information to be correct. There were a few phrases or situations that I felt modern day wording was used versus something that would have been said or available in the late 1800’s however, the reader does get the message of what was happening. The characters were well developed, and …

This was a good clean romance. It is the first in a series. Reading book 3 now. It is pretty simplistic, but enjoyed the western romance.
I just can’t believe these women of Privilege so quickly adapt to becoming a western house wife.
Awesome series of books.
It was okay
Too clean. Uneventful
Good book; kept my attention.
It’s a clean historical romance.
I enjoyed this book. It was easy to know how it would end but I enjoyed it enough that I read the next one in the series.
