Silver Coyle thought she was doing the right thing—see something, say something. Now she finds herself kidnapped, chained to a pipe in the hull of a ship, and on a collision course with death. Her only chance of rescue is from the one man she never wants to see again—Weston Beil—the know-it-all former SEAL. He’s bossy, arrogant, and sexy all wrapped up in a tough-guy package. Untouchable. But … that doesn’t stop the man from sending shivers of excitement racing down her spine.
Weston Beil didn’t want to be right, he didn’t want to say I told you so, but there it was—the beautiful Silver was caught in the middle of a drug war just like he’d warned. The woman was headstrong and stubborn. She tested his limits, pushed his buttons, and set his body on fire. Weston had a plan, he was prepared to use everything in his arsenal to prove to Silver she was his. Only there’s a glitch in Weston’s plan—Silver might not stay alive long enough for him to claim his treasure and convince her he’s fallen in love.

Perfect amount of romance, suspense and danger! A definite can’t put down read addition to this series!
There is an insane attraction between two equally stubborn people. Silver is fiercely independent and smart. Weston is loyal, steadfast and protective. He gives Silver all the things she’s missed out in her life; comfort, a sense of home, warmth and most of all love. Earning her trust is the most important thing, despite her efforts to sabotage him at every turn. You’ll find yourself routing for them!
This is the third book in the Gemini series. Weston is intrigued with Silver Coyle and is impressed by her smarts. She has uncovered a drug smuggling ring along the canal Chesapeake and Delaware canal and brought it to the attention of homeland security. The Gemini group is brought in to help since its on American soil and they can work independently of Homeland to help investigate it. Weston is against using Silver from the start because he doesn’t want to see her get hurt. All Silver can see is a big overbearing jerk that doesn’t think she is good enough to be able to help…
It doesn’t help that Silver finds herself in trouble and in need of rescuing from a boat she boarded to pilot down the canal and indeed Weston has to save her.
Weston is drawn to Silver from the very beginning at their first meeting at the DHS offices. She’s decided he’s a bully and she isn’t going to stand for him bossing her around or making her feel like she isn’t good enough. These two have a lot to figure out who’s behind the drug smuggling and how to get along. Every time Silver thinks shes being treated with kid gloves or not thought of as an equal she lashes out and says mean hurtful things. As Weston spends time with Silver, he sees beneath the surface a woman who has been ridiculed and emotionally abused. He sees how this has hurt her. As these two learn about each other we see how the interactions of Jameson and Nix treat their women affect Silver and show her that men and women can respect each others differences and how people should be treated. All the while Weston always calls Silver his treasure, because Silver is someone special and should be treasured. Even his mom calls her a treasure.
This was a great read with many tearful spots and some laugh out loud moments.
I’ve waited a long time for Weston’s story and it did not disappoint. The story sucked me in from the first page. It is a story of overcoming fear and abuse and finding love that is so perfect. You will laugh and you will cry. Did I mention it is filled with HOT scenes too?! Panty melting….

I just finished reading Weston’s Treasure and let me tell you that this series just keeps getting better and better! I have read the other two books in the Gemini Group series and even though each book is a standalone I recommend reading the others because of the interconnected characters throughout the series. Weston Beil has had a really good life so far. He’s a former Navy Seal and is now working privately with his best friends. He had a great childhood and the only missing piece in his life is meeting the perfect woman to share his life with. Until then he has enjoyed playing the field to the fullest. The last woman he ever thought that he would be attracted to was mariner Silver Coyle. Sure she’s beautiful but she’s also prickly as can be! Silver didn’t have the picture perfect childhood that Weston had growing up. She was the only child of a treasure hunter father and a distant mother. Her parents were more focused on themselves than the well being of their daughter and Silver has learned to guard her heart with a mile high solid wall. Silver has stumbled into some drug traffickers and the last thing she is going to do is listen to Weston’s bossy advice on keeping away from the situation and letting him handle everything with his team. These two many seem like oil and water but what they really are is fire and ice because when they get together it becomes smoking hot! Weston’s Treasue is written from dual POV and is a wonderful blend of action, angst, laughs, lust and love. I cannot wait to read what comes next in the series and I have a really good idea whose story it is but I’m not telling!
Weston and Silver battle out life, love, and danger in this amazing book. They are on fire both in and out of the bedroom. You will love reading this story and find you cannot put the book down waiting to see how such amazing chemistry turns into an everlasting love.

This is the third book in the Gemini series. This one is off the charts hot. Weston and Silver are explosive in the bedroom and in their arguing. Silver is so hard headed and stubborn she argues just to argue. The woman is in danger from drug smugglers that use the canal she pilots boats on. She reported her suspicious of smuggling to the Coast Guard and Homeland Security. She ends up handcuffed in the hold of a boat with cocaine in the very beginning. Her apartment is destroyed and she is hauled home by Weston so he can protect her. The bad guys did not give up and this made for an action packed suspenseful book.
In the 3rd installment of this series, Riley Edwards featured 2 wonderfully written characters. I have to admit, I didn’t quite enjoy book 2. I just couldn’t get down with the heroine of that book. However, I truly enjoyed reading this 3rd book and I find Silver such a hoot of a character. She can be so maddeningly stubborn but she didn’t irritate or annoyed me. Also, Weston is the Alpha down the bones and I just love his take charge attitude.
From the moment I read this book, I was enthralled deep into the story. The chemistry between Silver and Weston truly popped out the pages. I find this story to be a bit more emotional that the previous ones and no, that is not a complain. Infact, I find it quite refreshing as I really like the focus that Ms Edwards brought to these 2 MC in this book.
Another winner in my book and so far, one of my favourite book in this series.
Another hit in the Gemini Group series and Weston is an absolute treasure, a strong alpha man who will do anything for the one he claims as his. Silver lands herself in a heap of trouble after she tries to do it alone against drug smugglers and Weston ends up saving her the first time….but will he be able to do it again.
A great read with steam and suspense that had me flipping the pages and the only time I was disappointed….was when it ended. Weston…oh my…Weston…these two were combustible and the kitchen scene….bring out the cold water hose to cool me off. These two lit up and sparked the pages, add in the bit of suspense and a man who knows who he wants and won’t let up, who doesn’t run from his feelings and fights for the woman he wants….hot hot hot. What I really really really loved is what happens near the end, proving Silver has a head on her shoulder, is strong and smart, making them the perfect couple. A read not to be missed !!!!
*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
Weston and Silver’s story was such a Treasure. From when Weston first met Silver, I knew they were going to be explosive and the chemistry was even my volatile! It took a lot for Silver to let down her guard and get over her insecurities, but Weston completely demolished the walls she had built around her and showed her what it means to be treasured. They may have head butted each other a lot, but it was worth it in the end!
Another great addition to the Gemini Group. Riley keeps you coming back to read her books. She keeps you so involved with her characters you don’t want to stop reading. This book has area’s where I laughed out loud. Some great one liners! It’s got action, suspense, and romance. Riley has brought us another great book.
OMG I can’t say enough good about this book….. Weston is that all consuming alpha Male that every girl secretly dreams of having. His my way or no way that drives us absolutely insane and want to scream but again secretly makes our ovaries stand up and pay attention. Silver is your heard headed woman with walls built so high and fights him at every turn even over simple things but when it really comes down to it she knows when she needs to stop and pay attention. If you haven’t read this book you NEED to. Thses two fight like there is no tomorrow against each other and for each other. It is one emotion after the other and lots and lots of sexy time. Riley did these two justice and wrote a book out of what our dreams are made of
“Dickheads should not be allowed to be good looking”. OMG. Laughed out loud and had to reread this line a couple of times. Best line ever! Holy hell this book is awesome and wow, Weston. Reading Weston and Silver connecting, reading the honesty between, the fire, just awesome.
Read this book. Read all of Riley’s books. You won’t regret it. Hands down, this is one of the best books that I have read in a long while.
Two thumbs up for the awesomeness of this read! Nothing hidden, nothing buried – all laid bare. This story definitely keeps it down-to-earth, in-your-face brutally honest and real. Weston’s Treasure is raw and emotional, suspenseful, intense, and seriously hot, hot, hot!!! It holds plenty of laughs and tears, friendly banter, family drama and support, and love. There is not as much action and danger in this one as there are in Riley’s other books but with this couple, the situations surrounding them, and the navigation of their relationship it all balances out well. This is a book you definitely want to add to your reading pile.
Weston was the true deal, he held nothing back. He was upfront and honest, gruff, dominating and totally alpha but also knew when to handle with care, be soft-spoken, and gentle. I loved the vulnerable moments when he let his guard down and shared his fears and reservations with Silver. It brought them so much closer together knowing they were in the moment and dealing with it all together. And poor Silver never knew what hit her, in the form of Weston, but she definitely gave as good as she got. Head-strong, fierce, determined to prove she did not need help and could stand on her own which of course leads to trouble. However, she was intelligent enough to realize she needed help and to accept it from Weston and his team. Though she was not planning on unraveling and being remade or losing her heart in the process but what an awesome journey she had. I enjoyed seeing her character grow under Weston’s guidance. She learned to truly trust, accept, forgive, move forward, and to love. And she gave Weston the greatest gift. This was a great story with a wonderful ending for them and a shocking twister of a look into the next book in the series, Alec. Wow! I am really intrigued and looking forward to his story.
To say that I love Riley Edwards’ books is an understatement. I. Love. Riley Edward’s. Books!!
Riley’s writing always has me forgetting everything but the book I’m reading. She is an amazing storyteller and one of the best Military/Suspense authors IMO.
Silver is headstrong, stubborn and due to a toxic and unconventional childhood has low self esteem and has trust issues.
I confess, there were times Silver worked on my nerves, but I understood why she was like that.
Weston..LOVE HIM!! He is Alpha. protective, bossy (sexy bossy) and very patience. At first they were explosive when they couldn’t stand each other. But that explosive chemistry transformed into the bedroom
Weston saw Silver for who she really is. And he had the patience with Silver each time she had her doubts and tried to sabotage their relationship.
Love the storyline. It had less action and suspense than the other books but for me it was perfect.
Now..there are 2 story that I’m dying to read…Holden and Alec’s books are going to be amazing and I’ll be waiting anxiously for each of those books.
MY RATING: 5 STARS!!
love all of Riley’s Edwards books and recommend them to anyone who likes suspense romance. It is well written and edited. I don’t want to have a spoiler but the plot had a little bit of a change up in the normal girl gets threatened, guy protectors her but she still gets taken and he saves her. ( I still enjoy those plots too ). The characters are well developed and like able even though I wanted to slap Silver a couple of times.
Silver may be my favorite Gemini Group female lead so far (I know I know! It changes by the book!). There is something so relatable to her social ineptitude combined with her bullheaded determination to do things her way. And Weston, well, Weston is perfect for her. He pushes, he retreats, he supports – and he says I told you so, so well! I loved the ending – the validation for Silver and her courage in every respect. As always, Riley Edwards has shared characters you want as friends (and as rescuers, should the need arise), and the plot is fast-moving and gripping. And, as always, I’m left wanting more!

I really enjoyed Weston and Silver’s story it made me smile, laugh, feel sad.
Weston and Silver were meant for each other. Their relationship had ups and downs, but they worked through any issues and making sure they were truthful with each other.
Silver was a boat captain and found out about a drug smuggling and went to
Homeland Security to report what she suspected. The Gemini Group, Homeland Security and Silver had a meeting to plan how to catch drug smugglers; that is where Weston and Silver met. They worked to bring the smuggling ring down.
In the meantime Silver got captured on the smugglers boat and was rescued by
The Gemini Group.
Excellent characters and story Riley Edwards.
Reading Riley Edwards’ books is always a fun get-away. Each of her series introduces excellent characters who you invest in, suspense (but not overly blown to where you get all angst-ridden), and swoon-worthy romance. Weston’s Treasure is no different. Weston is such a likable guy; he’s friendly, has a decent relationship with his mom and dad, is confident in who he is and what he does. Silver (and treasure get it?) not so much. But Weston sees beyond her “stuff,” and it’s a sight to behold. It was lovely watching her become more. Before, she had been going through life but not being. I loved the banter between the two, and the fact that to shut her up, he’d throw her over his shoulder. Yeah, that alpha thing gets you some times. I enjoyed seeing characters from the earlier books, but I like the balance that Riley has achieved in letting them in but not too much, nor is she ignoring them altogether. She continues to build worlds and characters that you wish you could hang out with and get to know in real life.
So I wanted to read Weston’s Treasure…. but to do that I wanted to get to know the team, so I read Nix and Jameson’s stories first.. and at the end of Jameson’s and Kennedy’s story, (great books by the way, and I highly recommend reading them of you haven’t yet) in storms this pissed off stubborn woman, and she lights into Weston.
Had to laugh at all Silver’s reasons for picking fights and Weston was the best. Knowing when to push and when to be gentle. Fell in love with the Gemini Group and can’t wait for the rest of the stories. Riley you are still one of my favorite authors. Loved your other series and definitely love this one. Thanks for a great read.
Explosive, that’s what this book is. It’s non-stop action and it start’s with an “I told you so”, which is not funny, but the story gets going on page 1. Weston is not impressed with Silver, she’s a loose cannon, and he has to rescue her, but it’s not over, the bad guys know who she is. They go from not standing each other to a small truce, to hot in the sheets and it’s explosive. It kind of bugged me that Silver would not give in, even just a little bit. Weston is total alpha and very protective.
It was early on in the book and he laid it out for her “Then you’ll have to trust me that I’m smart enough to know what I got with you is worth moving forward . Trust me to know that if I wasn’t sure, I’d cut you lose. “What do you think you have?” “Treasure”. Next morning, she still does not understand what she means to Weston, “That means this morning I take care of you. We’ll go take a shower, get you something to eat, then before I go, I’ll run you a warm bath.” The emotions she writes comes through to the reader exponentially. It is truly a treasure to read Ms. Edward’s books.
Silver’s father is a piece of work for sure and you want to kick his ass. Silver gets her overused backbone and it’s quite the challenge for Weston to get Silver to bend a bit. The interaction between the two of them is absolutely magical and I loved the story and I would re-read it no questions asked. The whole series actually.
I received this advanced reader’s copy in exchange for an honest review.
