Silver Coyle thought she was doing the right thing—see something, say something. Now she finds herself kidnapped, chained to a pipe in the hull of a ship, and on a collision course with death. Her only chance of rescue is from the one man she never wants to see again—Weston Beil—the know-it-all former SEAL. He’s bossy, arrogant, and sexy all wrapped up in a tough-guy package. Untouchable. But … that doesn’t stop the man from sending shivers of excitement racing down her spine.
Weston Beil didn’t want to be right, he didn’t want to say I told you so, but there it was—the beautiful Silver was caught in the middle of a drug war just like he’d warned. The woman was headstrong and stubborn. She tested his limits, pushed his buttons, and set his body on fire. Weston had a plan, he was prepared to use everything in his arsenal to prove to Silver she was his. Only there’s a glitch in Weston’s plan—Silver might not stay alive long enough for him to claim his treasure and convince her he’s fallen in love.

It takes an innate talent to be a storyteller. To spin tales that capture not only a reader’s attention but mind and heart. It takes even more than that to do it time after time. Yet Riley Edwards does this every time with every one of her books. And her latest and greatest, Weston’s Treasure is no exception. Let me give you some details…
It was the night before Christmas…oh…wait…wrong story! Weston’s Treasure is a book with all the feels. It’s snuggled under a blanket, sipping hot chocolate, watching the kids open their gifts. It’s holding a newborn baby. It’s getting puppy kisses and roses and…well I think you get the imagery. But I promised you details…in this book, you’ll get Weston & Silver’s story and it’s a doozy! Weston’s all snarky, he-man, alpha and Silver can give it back to him just as good. There are the bad guys (of course), lots of hot between the sheets action and even some teary, sniffly moments. There are funny and suspenseful moments intermixed with tender and heartfelt. And there you have it! You didn’t think I was actually gonna give in-depth details…AS IF!
Just take this reviewer’s words to heart. This is a book you WANT to read. Not later, NOW. This is an author you want on your MUST-READ list. This is a series you want for re-read purposes. This book is Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year’s all rolled into one. So here’s the next thing you need to do…pre-order this book, put it on your Christmas list, send a letter to Santa asking for this book. All I want for Christmas is Riley Edwards. Books, I meant her books. Cause I’ve asked Santa before for all my favorite authors in my house and he said that’s called kidnapping…Pfft…spoil-sport!!
I love a good romantic suspense, and this one was definitely one of my top reads by Riley Edwards. Silver is the poster child for independent women everywhere, which stemmed from her unique upbringing. What I loved about Weston is how patient he was with Silver, even when things got really tough. They’re both stubborn, but managed to get past their hangups. And as usual, their story was laced with just the right amount of suspense and romance.
This book is so different than the rest and that is not bad at all! I loved this book as much if not more than I loved Nixon’s and Jameson’s books.
You knew already that the pull was there between Weston and Silver from reading Jameson’s Salvation but what you don’t expect is the way these two understand each other and the feeling that it is just right for them as they learn to trust each other. There is so much I want to say but I don’t want to give the book away, just know that it is not the typical way a book format goes in the book world, it works and it is an amazing ride. Most of all it is truly worth every second, minute and hour you will spend devouring this book.
Wild. Raw. Real.
Silver can best be described as the sand that becomes a beautiful pearl. When Silver & Weston first meet, he views her as an irritating and headstrong pain in his ass. Raised on the water for most of her life by her father, Silver is easily one with the water as a Pilot guiding boats through the local canals of Delaware. Unfortunately, she’s a fish out of water when it comes to meaningful relationships of any kind, be it friends or a significant other thanks to her isolated years at sea and growing up in a highly dysfunctional family. Silver struggles to understand & accept genuine affection. For all the trouble she causes, Weston can tell there’s something different about Silver and the answers lie beneath her stubbornness & sharp bite. He knows there’s a beautiful treasure tucked safely away beneath the rough outer surface. He works tirelessly to try to help Silver see herself for the beautiful, strong & loving woman she really is – not the broken disappointment she’s been made by her mother to believe she is. If Weston can stick to his guns and get Silver to trust him, they just might have a fighting chance at happily ever after. But after being raised by highly dysfunctional parents that have used Silver as a pawn with which to torture each other, Silver is hesitant to believe they’ll last for the long haul. Can Weston conquer her doubts & convince Silver that forever still exists? Can Silver let down her walls to reveal the true treasure beneath?

Oh mylanta… the story of Silver and Weston was amazing. I have read many books but this has to be one of my favorites. This was the first book in this series that I read now I want to read them all.
After reading Nixon’s Promise and Jameson’s Salvation I was eager to read Weston’s Treasure. This book turned out to be everything I had anticipated. It not only met my expectations but it exceeded them. With just the right mix of romance, suspense and danger the book is evenly paced. But all that aside, it’s just plain great reading.
Insane attraction between two equally stubborn people. Silver is fiercely independent, smart and prickly as a cactus. They might act like they’ll mix as well as oil and water but their chemistry is as explosive as fire and gasoline. Weston is loyal, steadfast and protective. He gives Silver all the things she’s missed out in her life; comfort, a sense of home, warmth and most of all love. Earning her trust is paramount, despite her efforts to sabotage their budding relationship,
This book is the third on the Gemini Serie and tells us the story of Weston and Silver.
Again, Riley gives us characters we can´t but fall in love with; they are strong, they fight, they struggle, they share. It´s a story about love (yes, there is sex, and it´s hot), friendship, and fighting your own demons. Couldn’t stop reading it!
A great book! A must read!
I loved Weston and Silver. They are so perfect for each other.
Weston met Silver when she told them about the drug smugglers. Now he has to rescue her when the smugglers handcuffed her to the pipe.
Silver had grown up hearing her mother tell her she was nothing. When her mom left, she stayed on the boat with her father so he could travel the world looking for treasure. She believes she is not worthy to anyone, especially Weston.
It is fun to read about how Weston teaches her about love.
Just when they think everything is over and they can move on, her life is in danger again. Will Silver make the right decision?
So I wanted to read Weston’s Treasure…. but to do that I wanted to get to know the team, so I read Nix and Jameson’s stories first.. and at the end of Jameson’s and Kennedy’s story, (great books by the way, and I highly recommend reading them of you haven’t yet) in storms this pissed off stubborn woman, and she lights into Weston.
Had to laugh at all Silver’s reasons for picking fights and Weston was the best. Knowing when to push and when to be gentle. Fell in love with the Gemini Group and can’t wait for the rest of the stories. Riley you are still one of my favorite authors. Loved your other series and definitely love this one. Thanks for a great read.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Weston and Silver were explosive from the moment they met, stubborn fools. But when they stopped fighting each other…they were nuclear I can’t imagine growing up the way Silver had. No real connections and a bitch for a mother. She didn’t know how to open herself up to love, but thankfully Weston didn’t let that stop him. He saw her…saw through her to the pain she hid inside. Then he made it his goal to erase that pain and saw herself for who she really was…loving, sweet, courageous, loyal. She was not worthless. She was WORTH everything to Weston, his treasure Silver may have been lacking affection through most of her life, but Weston would ensure that was in the past. Weston’s Treasure was full of snark, attitude, love, loyalty, family, action, and twists and turns that had me from the first word to the last. I loved catching up with all the other guys and their women. But that ending…Jesus I can’t wait for the next book! Amazing job as always, Riley Edwards
This! Uncertainty. Love. Passion. Weston and Silver heat up the pages in a fast track romance full of suspense. This book has it all. Best book I have read in a while.
The Gemini Group just gets sexier and hotter! Weston and Silver are HOT together. The sparks are flying and I swear one scene was so hot my Kindle was almost too hot to handle. I loved the dynamic between Weston and Silver. A really, really enjoyable story.
