Millie was called back to her hometown of St. Neuri for a family emergency. St. Neuri has familiar memories for her, but some disturbing things have happened recently which have Millie troubled – including disappearances and murder. Her introduction to an intriguing stranger named Liam only adds to this foggy mystery. I recommend your getting a copy to find out what happens. Abigail Raines has woven a tale in which suspense builds to an exciting conclusion.

Werewolves of the Mountain – Werewolves of St. Neuri Book 1 by Abigail Raines is an amazing read by a brand new author that I found. This is the first book in the series and I fell absolutely in love with the very strong characters and amazing story line. I love shifter stories so much and I highly recommend this story to everyone who feels the same way.

This was different from your typical werewolf story, however, it was definitely a good short read. Well developed storyline that flows smoothly. Liam and Millie are both strong, independent characters. I hope this author continues with another book with these characters and expands upon them. I enjoyed this book.

This story gets a little strange, but it is easy to figure out. Only the heroine in this story is a little ditzy for a fashion designer. I know she may have found Liam a little attractive, but she knows he lies to her. How can you build a relationship on mistrust? Even when the reveal comes down, she doesn’t call him out on his lies. And lets face it, she is so dumb to go out and make her self bait without telling Liam.

Her assistant telling her she has a call letting her know that she should take the call. It was her Aunt who she had not spoken to in 10 years. Her father had passed and she needed to come home and get his affairs in order. What she did expect was finding a mysterious fog in the town and talk of wolves killing people.. She goes to the dinner and runs into the mysterious Liam. This is a very exciting read . Can not wait to read more from the Author. . Could not put this story down.

‘Werewolves of the Mountain’ is a very smooth read. Entertaining and well written. I’m stuck inside with laryngitis and this story certainly helped distract me!! No cliffhanger {I hate those!!} but you will be left with anticipation for a “part II”.

Action packed, sexy, thrilling and engaging adventure filled with danger, dark secrets and scorching hot passion…. enjoyed every heart pounding twist and turn in this emotionally gripping journey.
Millie is back home after her father passes and everything has changed yet somethings are still the same… a dark stranger she can’t seem to resist and even darker secrets….. All this makes for a highly entertaining evening of reading.
I absolutely loved this book. Hope you will write about more of the werewolves. The main characters took some time to get together but it worked out. Thanks for the opportunity to preview and review this book.

Millie returns to her hometown to bury her father after his unexpected death, only to find it changed in many ways. For one, the mysterious fog that appears every night at sundown along with the hulking shapes that run through it. These shapes surround Millie one night when she’s unlucky enough to be out after dark in a part of town she doesn’t know.
Liam appears right then and saves her from whatever those shapes are. He continues to save her throughout the book…
I don’t want to give too many spoilers.

Werewolves of the Mountain is the first book in the Werewolves of St. Neuri series. Millie has lived in the city for the past ten years, starting a successful fashion career, thinking nothing could tear her away when she finds out about the death of her father. While back in St. Neuri, she’s realizing quickly that not everything is as it once was, and after meeting Liam, she has more questions than answers. When she’s attacked, she’s determined to find the truth, but will she be able to handle all of Liam’s and St. Neuri’s secrets?
This book was kind of perfect for the Halloween season, with a mystery fog, attacking wolves, murder mysteries, and a hunky man with more secrets than truths. Millie was such a determined little character, and I loved that what once was just myth, turned into something so much more real for her. Liam was kind of hard to get a handle on sometimes, but he was always protective, willing to fight for those who others might not give a second chance to, and had the confidence that all would end soon. Together, they could have made a great team, if only Liam would have communicated a little better. As much as I enjoyed this book, though, I feel like there was a disconnect between the characters until the very end, and maybe part of that is because we only got Millie’s point of view. I think this series has potential, though, and look forward to reading more!
Wow! It keeps you guessing to the very end! Never sure what will happen next! Did her father die or was he murdered? How? Why? As she searches for answered she puts herself in danger and has to be rescued over and over! Full of surprises and strange twists. Great plot! Loved, loved it! Great ending!

I read this book straight through because I was really into it. The main characters and the plot were written very well and the right amount of suspense and drama. Enjoyed it.

Werewolves and small town romance
Werewolves of the Mountain by Abigail Raines is an interesting paranormal romance.
This book has engaging characters, mystery, suspense and paranormal danger in addition to the love interest of Millie and Liam. As they engage with one another, the danger (good vs evil) becomes ever more prevalent and especially poses a direct threat to Millie.
As this is the first published work of Abigail Raines that I have read, it is a good read that kept my attention beginning to end.

Millie is home again, her life stalled with the death of her father. But her home town, the place she couldn’t wait to leave wasn’t the same as she remembered and things are getting more strange. I really like the storyline and characters. I got interested within the first chapter but then felt a bit sluggish, but don’t fret once the action started it really takes off. Big teeth, hairy creatures, sharp claws and Millie trying to find answers. A short little escape that I enjoyed.

Millie returns to her hometown of St. Neuri after the sudden death of her father. Her mother had died previously, when she was a girl, so she sticks around to wrap up her fathers affairs : the sale of the house, etc.
One dark and foggy night, she takes a wrong turn, and almost ends up a snack for some rambunctious wolves, but she senses they might be more.
Could her father have been right? Werewolves in St. Neuri?
Members of a splinter group seek her out, as well as the evidence her father had been collecting.
Can hot and hunky Liam keep her safe? Does she need to be saved from him, and herself, as well?
Steamy shifter suspense and romance.

Millie was called back to St. Neuri on account of her father temporarily leaving behind her fashion line. Once she returned home she noticed there was a thick fog over the town giving it an eerily feel. She was told about the murders that accompanied the fog and to be careful which she soon took to heart thanks to almost being attacked and saved by Liam a big strapping man who took her breath away. Liam was hiding secrets, secrets that Millie soon learned about but could also be the death of her if she was not protected by Liam. Will Liam come to her rescue at her time of need?

I enjoyed this fast paced paranormal read. It came just in time for Halloween as an added bonus. Following Liam and Millie into the fog and figuring out the small town mystery while predictable, was fun.
