Millie has her eyes on the prize: taking her blossoming fashion line and turning it into an empire. Life has other plans, however, and a phone call informing her that her father has passed away brings her back to her hometown of St. Neuri.St. Neuri has changed, with a fog that settles across the town every night, people vanishing and turning up dead, and rumors of wolves hunting in the … up dead, and rumors of wolves hunting in the surrounding woods. Millie doesn’t recognize her hometown anymore – nor the men that reside in it.
A chance encounter leads to her to meet Liam, a dashing bad boy with a smile that shatters her heart neatly in half. She cannot deny the pull she feels for this mysterious stranger. But as the secrets of St. Neuri pull her in deeper, towards legends of werewolves that could very well be real, Millie realizes that not everything is as it seems, including Liam.
This is a standalone book with no cheating and a HEA ending. 18+ content.more
I loved reading this book because the story moves really quick. Milli had to come home after 10 years because her father died. She thought that her hometown was dull, but it isn’t anymore. It is a HEA, so read this story of you’re in to werewolves!

Millie left St Neuri years ago to launch her own fashion line in the city and never thought she would return. When her father unexpectedly dies, she is forced to return to settle his estate. St Neuri has changed – there have been people disappearing and being murdered and a creepy fog settles over the town every evening. Millie finds herself drawn to the bad boy, Liam, who everyone warns her to stay away from. When Millie is attacked by werewolves, Liam is there to rescue her. She is drawn into Liam’s world and must deal with his secrets and the war that is being fought. Will she survive? Will she stay with Liam? This book kept me interested and was hard to put down once I started.
Due to a death in the family, Millie heads back to her home town. She was not expecting to meet Liam, or the twisty turn of events. Fast paced enjoyable read.

This is my first romance by this great romance author! Millie returned to her home town to bury her father. There are strange things happening in this town which her father had hinted he knew something was happening. She meets Liam who is very suspicious in his whereabouts and how he keeps coming to her rescue in the nick of time! There is a very simple answer to all these strange happenings. I received a gifted copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I honestly love this story and this series!
Millie us clueless about the Werewolves of the Mountain but Liam was about to introduce himself!
The book has a great story-line and well-developed characters, and It kept my attention from the first page to the last. I can’t wait to see what comes next from this author in the next sequel!. Very enjoyable.

The book was slow to start. Liam and Millie have great chemistry and I loved their story. I can’t wait for more from this author.
I enjoyed reading this book. It was a great story to sink into on a cloudy afternoon. I’ve read similar storylines before but the way Abigail Raines writes kept me interested from the beginning.
A young career woman has to go back to her childhood town to bury her father and meets a hot, interesting man just as she is finding out that strange disappearances and murders are happening.
Mystery, action, attraction, love; all the things needed that Abigail Raines brings together to make this a book to put on your read list.

This is the first book of Abigail Raines’ I’ve read so I wasn’t sure quite what to expect. It was a fairly easy read with enough action, angst and instant attraction to get and hold my attention. The characters flow through the story easily with personalities that are relatable. All in all, it was a book worth reading and the beginning to a series that would hold my interest.
Format: Kindle Edition
My first book by Abigail Raines and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Millie is trying to get her fasion business up and running, when her father dies suddenly forcing her to return to her hometown. She finds some things have changed. The town feels tense people are missing and there’s a strange thick fog that rolls in every night, setting nerves on edge. Then she bumps into a mysterious, but interesting stranger and people keep telling her to avoid him.
Sometimes seemed a little slow. So only 4 stars. A plus, no heavy HEA, but still a spicy romance leaving the story to stand on its own.

Werewolves do exist at least in books or so Millie thought until she returns home for her father’s funeral and learns the hard way they are alive and well in her home town. Millie meets Liam and there is an immediate attraction and then the action starts. The book is a good quick read and I would recommend it.

Millie and Liam were both interesting characters and had some great chemistry. Lots going on as their was a fog and people missing or found dead. A slow start that picked up as it progressed with some action and an HEA . I enjoyed this story. I am voluntarily reviewing an arc I received from Booksprout.
