It’s the sheriff’s job to protect the town. The town, however, doesn’t intend to make it easy for her.It was a normal day when Tobias arrived back to Redstone, paperwork and petty disputes between the various residents of town, until it wasn’t because humans were trying to attack the werewolf pack. Adalyn finds herself in the middle of a range war, and her duty as sheriff to protect Redstone … protect Redstone becomes very literal as silver bullets start flying. She needs to make a mark and establish her authority, or the werewolves will never let her help.
It’s not the only war she finds herself in, either. She’s in the middle of the cross fire between two factions she never thought would go to battle. Her oldest friends and her new lovers. Tensions rise and tempers snap as each man tries to defend what he thinks is his while Adalyn tries to broker peace in an attempt to stay on task and do her job. They keep looking at her to declare a winner. There’s only one problem.
She can’t.
Adalyn won’t be won. She won’t be fought for and claimed.
And if that means she has to give them all up, she will.
Witch of the Wild West is a steamy RH paranormal romance series set in the Wild West! From hellhounds to warlocks, and everything in between, jump into Adalyn’s wild world and join her in following her wild heart. Expect fun adventures, hot scenes, and a feisty female lead who won’t let anyone tell her what to do and won’t choose between the men she falls in love with. It’s all or nothing in the Wild West!

I absolutely adore Addy. She doesn’t take anything from anyone. She ever. She is learning to be a Sheriff on her own terms and in her own way, not the way her Husband ran the town as Sheriff. His way just doesn’t work for her. Remy is still my favorite and learning more about Easton is my favorite part. We learn who his father is and why he is the way he is.
The fact that Addy can love him is beyond belief to Easton. The fact that she loves him and Remy is the greatest thing in his world and the fear of losing that makes him do stupid stuff. Valen makes a more in-depth appearance in this and I am loving learning about him. I also adore we finally get to see him in action and learn who and what he is. I figured it out after the last book and I am glad to learn I was right. Everyone loves the hairy bear though.
Sweet Tobias goes a bit mental over Addy. And his reaction makes me cringe, but only because I know how Addy feels and he doesn’t. He learns his lesson and has come to a truce. I want to know so much more about him and his skills and I feel like we spent so much of this book on his feelings for Addy and his distrust of Easton and Remington that I hope the next book spends more time on who he is and what he can do. We do learn some here, and I fear the next book is going to be more about Valen.
I love everything about this series. I love the willingness of Addy to not cow to men in her life, especially when that is what is expected of her. I love that she is proud of who and what she is and has risen to be what she is in spite of where she comes from, which is another thing we learn some about. I love that the men in her life don’t bend to her will, but they accept what she has to say and don’t try to manipulate her after she has made a decision. That they respect her enough to know herself and to have some agency. To know her own mind and not try to convince her otherwise. That kind of respect means a lot and needs to be represented more in books.
Adalyn and her guys are back! This is shaping up to be one of my new favorite series. Adalyn is trying to figure out her new role as sheriff and also trying to figure out her relationships with the guys. The guys are trying to figure out their own dynamics with each other, and with the various alpha tendencies there are definitely some clashes. For me this book really focused on the relationship dynamics – Adalyn with the guys, Adalyn with the town, the guys with each other, and their own roles in the town. The ending does leave you with a big tease as to what will happen in book 3, and I can’t wait to see how that all plays out 🙂
Fantastic sequel in this new series! I truly, truly enjoyed this book so very much. This paranormal wild west world that Banet has created had me hooked from the get-go and flipping the pages like crazy to see what happened next! The characters are fantastic and Adalyn is one badass witch. I love the way the relationships between the characters have progressed thus far and I love reading about the adventures they get up to in Redstone. I can’t wait to see what happens next! I highly recommend this book!
Werewolves and Wranglers is the second book of the Witch of the Wild West Series by Kristen Banet and it was amazing. Kristen has created a unique Wild West Paranormal Reverse Harem book. I was hooked the minute I started reading and I couldn’t put it down. It is steamy, fast paced, and action packed. The main character Adalyn is a powerful witch and the sheriff of Redstone, she is new at the job and still learning how best to keep the town safe. Remy, a hellhound shifter, and Easton, a Nephilim, are her deputies at work and bed partners at night. Tobias a Shaman and old friend has come back to town with the goal to win her heart which causes tension for everyone including Valen another old friend who seems have feelings for Adalyn as well. On top of all that there is trouble between the humans and werewolves that they must all work together to protect the town. This series has everything I love in a reverse harem. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series to see what is next for Adalyn and her men!
OMG, wow I am kinda speechless. Kristen has absolutely flawed me with this one and whilst I loved the first book I am even more in Love with this one.
I love that the Wild West world Kristen has created it is so vast and intriguing and the town of Redstone always has some kind of action and drama to keep you entertained.
Addy is such a strong and independent character that you can’t help but love her and her wild ways.
The guys are so different and loveable. I am so in love with Tobias, whist Maxwell is still my favourite but all the guys have something that makes you love them and their flaws.
I am so excited for the next book to see what happens in their quaint little town, and to see what happens when Maxwell come back and they are all finally together, it’s going to be so much fun.
