Sometimes a wolf’s first love can ruin him forever. Especially if she belongs to the enemy… dreams. And he’d do anything for her.
The thing is, his heart belongs to a wolf from the enemy pack…
Allie’s life is controlled by her powerful father. As long as she’s an obedient daughter, she has nothing to fear. But Allie has a secret that her family can never know about… When she finds out that she’s at the center of a scheme that her father is planning, her secret might just be her only protection.
But there are things that even a wolf can’t control…
When Allie accidentally meets Ben again, it is as though lightning hits the sky. He is, in every sense of the word, a man now. And she is, in every sense of the word, speechless.
Will Allie give Ben the second chance his wolf heart craves?
Or is she in more danger than she knows?

Book two in the Wolf Mountain series a well-written story that once I started reading I was not putting down until I had finished the book. Ben and Allie’s story has suspense, drama, danger, evil, twists, turns, a very bad Alpha that wants war on another pack, kidnapping, and romance. I want to read the next book. A second chance story. I received a copy of this book on KU and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This is another fine story about life in Fell Village. Ben made a mistake in his youth and is still suffering over it. He also lost his best friend, Allie at the same time. Allie was the only thing that mattered to Ben. Ten years later they still think about each other. I was excited when they found each other again. I loved how they fell back into each other all over again. I liked the change in Ben with Allie back around. Allie’s father was a total creep and I cringed every time he talked to her. Ms. Wolf’s descriptions gave me a clear picture of the situation. There is a lot of action and suspense. I really enjoyed reading this. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
A then young Ben defected from the Fell wolf pack to the Sanguine wolf pack but eventually returned after the Fell pack aloha was killed. Ben secretly kept in communication with the new Sanguine alpha’s daughter Allie (a no-no). Now the two packs are in a collision course and there seems like nothing a pawn like Allie or an ostracized werewolf like Ben (due to his defection) can do – nor anything they can do about their star-crossed romance. Romeo and Juliet on paranormal steroids anyone? Don’t worry, there’s a different, original and fun, plot here. It’s well done and is full of great characters, though, so you’ll be pretty much guaranteed to enjoy if lol like this genre. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.
This is the story of Ben, the young Fell werewolf who defected to the Sanguine wolf pack led by Ivan. After Ivan was killed, Ben returned to his home pack, ostracized for his defection. Ten years have past with little change in the pack’s attitude. But Ben is about to be faced with a choice that could have wide-ranging repercussions.
Allie was a young werewolf in the Sanguine pack when Ben first appeared. During his three months with the new pack, Ben and Allie connected. Though ten years have passed, the two werewolves are still in touch. When hostilities escalate and Allie is a pawn in the political machinations of her Alpha, these two werewolves will face difficult decisions that could end in death.
Mia Wolf has written a book with well developed characters. This is a long book and in some areas, a little too wordy. That being said, it is worth the time and effort to read. While there is some sexual content, it is mild and overall a clean paranormal romance.
