Chemistry is my love language.I’ve always been able to separate feelings from chemosignals. A shot of dopamine, a dash of serotonin, and a sprinkle of oxytocin—and bam. You’re in love. And when egg meets sperm, you’re pregnant.I couldn’t even be surprised as I stared down at the little blue plus sign, because I knew exactly when and how, and with whom it happened. When: approximately five weeks ago. happened.
When: approximately five weeks ago.
Who: one night stand.
How: prophylactic malfunction.
The upside? I don’t have to go looking for a suitable mate.
Genetically, he’s the cream of the crop. His musculature is a study in symmetry and strength, his height imposing and impressive. He is a man who thrives on control and command, a man who survives on intelligence and resourcefulness. A perfect male specimen.
And the whole package is wrapped up in a flawlessly tailored suit.
I’m having this baby, and he insists we’re well-suited to have it together. And what’s worse? He wants more, in the way of love and marriage.
But love isn’t real. It’s just a product of chemistry.
And if he changes my mind about that, we’re both in trouble.

Theo is the most alpha character in the series & worth all the 5 STARS!! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read
When Theo & Katherine meet this is their Endgame! They are so Well-Suited that they are complete with each other. As the readers see well before Katherine, the display of the characteristics of being completely in love with each other, well before they are ready to admit it. It’s fun to see them come to terms with this. Theo is all in on day one, he wants her & recognizes his feelings right away, go he goes straight for the long game…Make her fall slowly….. You are going to love the journey.
It is no secret, that I am a big fan of The Red Lipstick Coalition series. And even less of a secret that I have been waiting for Katherine. Waiting ever since I met her in Piece of Work. Katherine is basically my spirit animal.
Well it is now time for Katherine to put on her red lipstick and step in to the limelight. And what a performance…
From the reader, that HATES prologues; Holy moly what a prologue! It left me with tongue lolling and heart pounding… Not to mention cursing myself for starting this book just before bed… “I’ll just read the prologue” my brain said, “I can stop after the prologue, no problem!” Well it turns out my brain was lying to me… Again!
Anyway this story is as beautiful as any Staci Hart book. It has glimpses of Katherine’s friends and their relationships. It has tender moments, funny moments, scary as heck moments, and hot, oh so damned HOT moments. I was so emotionally caught up in this story, that I actually had to put it down at one point to gather courage to keep turning the pages.
I have only one regret about this book, and that is the fact, that it is the series finale. I will miss these misfits, but I promise to revisit them again and again.
I adored these two from the very first page. The prologue hooked me in so good. These two just ahh!!!! Their chemistry, their interactions, I was dying in the best way. Katherine’s come ons were so scientific that she made it so fun and cute sometimes. Theo and her were perfect for each other, I honestly just seem them as two puzzle pieces finally coming together after a long time. They both knew it from the first moment they were the ones for each other. Katherine got scared and tried to ignore Theo until she couldn’t anymore. Him, he tried to win her the only way he knew he could, her way.
I loved every single girl and couple in this series so much but these two, I think these two had the best bond. I just loved how they felt about each other and how Theo was so willing to wait Katherine out, ah he was so damn special. And Katherine trying to stay in her logical ways and fighting a real relationship with Theo… girl, no one ever believe you could resist that sweet male speciemen. Theo was complete sweetness in all forms, and I loved how he never questioned or doubted that he wanted to be a dad, he was just all in from the second the words came out of Katherine’s mouth.
Can you tell how much I loved Theo? I think he might have been my favorite of the guys *runs and hides from my loves Court, Sam and Tommy*
Staci Hart never fails to give us heart, laughter and all the feels. RLC is one of the most amazing group of friends I have had the pleasure of reading about and I am so darn sad that this is goodbye. I’m gonna miss this gang so much. Each and everyone of these characters is so darn special to me. But even though this is goodbye, they will stay with me forever and I’ll revisit them again and again.
Well Suited was the perfect, sweet and funny conclusion to the RLC series with a story so damn heartfelt and sweet, characters that will warm your heart to the fullest and a love story so good that will rival all three that came before it. Theodore and Kate had me swooning left and right, they were made for each other and I loved reading all about their journey to being the cuttest family. I adored them to pieces.
“Be the mistress of your destiny.”
The fourth and final book in the Red Lipstick Coalition Series rounds out with Katherine and Theo. When a one night stand between them ends with Katherine pregnant they are thrown together that pushed Katherine way out of her comfort zone. She’s used to organization, structure, boundaries, and rules. Theo sends all of that out of whack in the best was possible.
I love when stories match up two people who are complete opposites but complement one another so well. Staci Hart has set up this series with four best friends who believe their path in life in already carved for them and that should just follow course and stay between the lines. With a trip to the cosmetics counter and four tubes of red lipstick, they each find a new path of possibilities and self-empowerment.
This book, along with the rest of the series, is most definitely a romance, but with some comedy, a very swoon-worthy man, ah-ha moments, best friends who lift each other up, hotness, and a happily ever after. Grab your favorite shade of red lipstick and curl up with Katherine and Theo.
As much as I hate to say goodby to the RLC, this was the perfect way to end it!
I was waiting for Katherine’s story from the moment we met her and it did not disappoint. I love how her brilliant mind works and this author did an amazing job at writing her in a way that was relatable. She is so unique. I have never read another book with a character like her and I LOVED it!
Theo was so dang amazing! He understood exactly how Katherine worked, how she thought, and what she needed before she even did. I love that he completely accepted her how she was and never once tried to change her. She may be a little quirky but he loved her deeply regardless.
I love all of the characters in this world and I recommend you read them all. This one is amazing but so are the other three stories. These characters are extremely relatable, unique, and I know I could be best friends with all of the girls. Don’t miss out on the Red Lipstick Coalition!
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.
This book was one of my most anticipated stories for this month! I could not wait for it and Staci Hart definitely did not disappoint!!
I absolutely loved reading about Kate and Theo . I loved how Staci Hart made us fall in love with both characters.. she gave us everything we needed as readers to feel every little aspect- to feel all the heartache, heartbreak, and heartfelt parts that come with a fantastic and lovely story. I felt completely satisfied at the end!
I was so excited read this, however I was oh so sad too because I knew this is the last book in the Red Lipstick Coalition series…. This is Katherine’s book, this is Theo’s book and the two of them fit together oh so perfectly. I was so intrigued by Katherine’s way of thinking, her rules, her plans and lists. And when reading about her childhood, I could so see why she is the way she is. Her need for control. Her disbelief in love and magic was so sad but understandable. Then comes Theodore! Oh my me, Theo was everything that Katherine needed and more! Katherine & Theo are just perfect together! Theo embraces Katherine’s “quirks”. Katherine shows Theo that there is more than one way to “love” someone. The dialogue between Theo and Katherine is amazing! It’s witty and fresh and chock full of studious knowledge! I love the fact that Ms. Hart can write this kind of a intellectual characters without talking down to the reader! As always, the rest of the RLC crew make their appearances and it’s fabulous! The witty conversations that this gal pals have makes me want to up my game with my group of gals! This story is going to draw you in with proverbial arms wide open, this story is going to hold you and not let you go until it’s over. And even then I know that this story or hell this whole series isn’t going to leave me. Thank you Ms. Hart, you are the original Quirky Bird and your words are magic!
When I first started reading this, I felt like I was missing something. When I went back to check the other books, I had! My bad, I skipped book 3 somehow, and I will be rectifying that mistake quick smart, as Amelia and Tommy’s story sounds pretty good indeed. He is Theo’s twin brother.
In saying that, I still got the full picture of what Katherine and Theodore’s story is all about. Kate, I’m going to call her Kate because I feel I know her well now, is different to the other girls. She needs order and stability and routine. It is hard for her to adapt to change and chaos. Theo is similar to this but he is better at being flexible and can handle little surprises. Even if it comes in the form of a baby. One thing he will insist on, is being present throughout the whole experience. He will not repeat history and follow his own fathers foot steps.
Theo melted my heart with his attention to detail to make everything easier for Kate. He believed in happily ever after and sole mates, but it is not in Katherine to conform to silly notions. Theo knows that to win Kate over is a slow and steady strategy and one he is willing to take for love. Kate on the other hand didn’t deem it possible to fall in love, it’s a chemistry thing. And as much as I wanted to shake her, I understood why she would think that way due to her upbringing. I don’t agree with her, and she finally sees what’s in front of her all along. What I didn’t get was John Banowski’s storyline, it felt out of place and thrown in for an explanation for something and the missing link might be book three, but his actions were a little contradictory. En masse I enjoyed this book and was happy with the full epilogue and the way it closed out the series.

What I love most about the series is how authentic and modern the characters feel. They’re not sitting around waiting for a man to save them, they’re working jobs, chasing their dreams, and spending time with their best friends the realistic way that people actually do.
Katherine especially is not waiting for a man to complete her. She doesn’t believe in love or magic. As a product of two hippies who fall in and out of love all the time, she knows she can only count on herself and her rules. She cares about books (the classics!), her job, her friends. She’s startled to discover five weeks after a one stand with Theo Bane that she’s pregnant. Theo Bane does believe in love and magic, and he knows he’s found it in his baby mama. Now he just needs to convince her.
I love this book so much. Theo is probably the perfect man. He’s driven, sexy, loves to cook and care for those he loves, and wears the hell out of a bespoke suit.
Staci Hart is an incredible Contemporary Romance author. All her books are just exactly what I am looking for in a romance. Aside from the heat (and there is HEAT in this one), there is the warmth, humor, and girl power I’ve come to expect from her.
Good Heavens… this story! Theo and Kate remind us what life was like in the good ol’ caveman days when our thoughts and desires ran solely from the pheromones our bodies are giving off… and our mate is giving off. While Well Suited might start off with caveman tendencies, it develops ever so slowly into something more… something deeper. The friendship and life these two start to build together is beautiful and made me goofy smile so much while reading.
Staci Hart is so upbeat and fun with her writing. This story is sweet and completely swoonable… I thought I might faint!! Hart really gets people. You feel that when she’s developing characters that remind you of yourself or your friends… she just gets the relationships and the feelings. Staci Hart puts relatable people together with these situations that seen plausible and slightly outlandish… she’s like a mad chef over there in her writing cave.
I can see her now…
“For this meal (ie book) I’m going to add a bit of this over-the-top logical and sweetly sexy woman in with the smart-mouthed man that oozes sex appeal and is impossible to deny…. and walaaa… we have an insanely bewitching, wickedly sweet, upbeat and charming story that’s impossible to put down once picked up.”
dusts palms while she’s yelling…
“Book nerds… books on your kindle.”
So, yeah… after that what do I really have to say?!?! Oh… don’t dine alone or be sure to share because everyone is going to want a bite of this!! Staci Hart has gone all out here and wrapped this series up with a gorgeous red bow! Enjoy!
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… my opinions.
You know that feeling you get when a phenomenal series comes to an end? Well, that’s what you have to look forward to with Well Suited, the last in the ‘Red Lipstick Coalition’ series by Staci Hart. Staci has become one of my all-time favorite authors. Her sense of humor and writing are always spot on. I’ve loved this series and I will truly miss it.
Well Suited is Katherine and Theo’s story. It was sweet, funny and just a fantastic ending to this four part beauty of a series.
Katherine wasn’t prepared for Theo in the least. She’s straight-laced and doesn’t take any nonsense from anyone. Theo was smitten from the outset but he had his work cut out making Katherine see the truth of them belonging together. They truly were Well Suited!!
Sometimes a simple story becomes extraordinary by the author’s story telling powers. And Well Suited by Staci Hart is a perfect example. Theodore and Katherine’s love story is something we have been reading for ages. It’s the age old story of falling in love slowly but surely. Staci Hart gave it a complete make over with her unique writing and I am in love too.
The best quality of this story is Staci Hart’s words and expressions. She weaved magic in the pages. She poured emotions in the phrases. She created two unforgettable lead characters. Katherine’s character was quirky, neat, organized and always in control of her life until Theo turned it upside down. She is smart, intelligent and just so much different. And Theo brought colours to her blank canvas. A perfect partner. Caring, adorable, protective and compassionate. They came together because of a surprise baby but gradually it becomes so much more. And it was absolutely stunning reading experience.
Slow burn romance is my weakness. There is something charming and intriguing to read a story when the author navigates the topsy turvy roads of a relationship. Staci Hart gave the story angst, heartbreak, softness, drama, intensity and sensuality in spades. The chemistry was built up from a dim candle light to a forest fire intensity. And their mind were in perfect sync.
Come, fall in love with the story of falling in love of two amazing souls. Let’s experience the dazzling beauty of losing heart and winning affection. Let’s suffer the messy chaotic heartbreaks. Staci Hart made me feel every single bit of emotion with her hypnotizing and mindblowing words. And I am sure you will feel it too.
Received ARC for Honest Review
My Beautiful THEO!!!
Well Suited is the 4 book in the Red Lipstick Coalition series, and if you have already read Work in Progress you know this is the story about Theo and Katherine, and with the epilogue of Amelia and Tommy’s story, I was soo excited to read this one.
This story didnt have an easy beginning but it was one Katherine and Tommy werent prepared! and as usual Katherine wanted to have all plan it, but she wasnt expecting Theo and how he is going to changes everything for her. Katherine and Theo looks like two persons with differents plans and situations but then they will find that they are perfect for each other.
This story is absolutely beautiful!! I truly enjoyed it when i read it, i dont want to let you know more stuff about the plot, so you can read and enjoy it!!! but let me tell you if you love the others books in this series this definitely need to read this one because is AMAZING!!
This book is the end of this series and thats a bittersweet feeling for me, because i LOVE the friendship between all the heroines and I’m happy they have their HEA, but at the same time I’m sad that is the end of an amazing journey between these ladies.
If you have love any staci’s book before I’m sure you will love this one, because she is the queen of the rom com books!!! So i really recommend you to read it as soon as the book is LIVE!!
Congratulations Staci for an amazing book that marks the end of one amazing series!!
ARC provided by the author in exchange of an honest review.
After reading “Well Suited” I can honestly say that each book in the RLC series tops the previous one, they keep getting better. That’s why it’s extra sad that this was the last book. It is definitely my favourite.
I especially loved reading Katherine’s POV. The way she thinks is so different from any other characters I read before, that it is very refreshing. I wasn’t sure before reading this book if I was going to like her, but Staci Hart proved me so wrong. This is one of the best characters she has written to date.
Theodore Bane is very different from his twin brother. And I absolutely loved that about him. Both brothers are great, but the fact that Theo is so caring made him my favourite. He is also very patient with Katherine. He accepts her the way she is and doesn’t push her into things she isn’t ready for.
The only thing I wish we saw more of in this book is the friendship between the girls. I absolutely love the scenes where they are all together.
On the one hand it’s sad to see an end to this series, but I’m also very excited about what comes next. There are so many possibilities.
“We need a signal. A… a sign.” He broke away, leaning back, his eyes black and lust-drunk. “I have one rule. It can double as the signal.” “What?” I said breathlessly. Theo reached for my face, cupped my jaw, and ran a thumb across my bottom lip, his eyes following the motion. “Wear this lipstick. I want you in it when we… scratch. And that’ll be my cue.”
Well Suited is , well…a FANTASTIC conclusion to one of my favorite series. When The Red Lipstick Coalition started, four socially and romantically challenged young woman were focused on building their self-esteem and solidifying their united front. Following Rin, Val, and Amelia, Kathryn finds herself challenging her norms when a one night stand with Theodore Bane flips her life on it’s end. Staci Hart brilliantly takes the accidental baby trope to a new level.
The connection between Kathryn and Theodore is simply magical. With their initial meet-cute anything but, they quickly indulge into a pheromone induced frenzy – scratch that, they get one incredible passionate night together and then Kathryn proceeds to ghost Theo. But all that changes when two pink lines show Kathryn that she’s about to have his baby. Cue: Sensible decision and Theo’s proposal that they live together, raise their child together, and maybe enjoy all the entanglements that come with this arrangement when Kathryn agrees:
“ I was the picture of casual impassivity. Inside, I was rubbing my hands together as I mapped out every path to convince her to see me again.”
Eeeeeg gahd – the man is a dreamboat. I loved his every thought and action. He’s truly modern alpha protector without all the alpha postering. So, dutifully in love with Theo, I begin to root for his every wish to come true.
What follows is a glorious SLOW BURN. These two have an electric connection (shown by some of the most sensual moments in Staci’s storytelling), and the SLOW “BURN-DOWN” ney, INCINERATION of Kathryns’ well placed rules. Kathryn simply needs control, but Kate, Theo’s Kate craves the freedom that Theo’s attentions and passion evoke. For Theo, he knows that breaking her rules requires signs – and here is where the RLC shows the embodiment of intention:
“We do so solemnly swear,” she recited, “to use this shiny little tube of power to inspire braveness, boldness, and courage. We promise to jump when it’s scary, to stand tall when we want to hide, to scream our truth instead of whisper our fears. May we be mistresses of our destinies, and to hell with anyone who tries to tell us otherwise.”
The ladies are respectful of each other, but they do help to push each other to test themselves, their boundaries, to challenge their beliefs. And Kathryn faces the most life altering change of them all. Change does not come easily to Kathryn and she struggles, and because he is all in, Theo struggles. They face fallout from dreams that are dashed and family interference, but they are united and in the end, there’s always cause for Hope. Thank you to Staci Hart for giving the romance readers world this inspiring story, this beautiful series, and the RLC !!
***5 ‘Flexible’ Stars***
This one is all kinds of swoon worthy, heart twitterpating goodness. Like that first taste of your favorite dessert that makes you pause for just a moment as you savor all the flavors and texture and just smile because it makes you that happy.
That is this book.
It gave me everything my romantic heart and soul could have desired (and a few things it could have done without ~ but I got over it) and made it really hard to put the book down (stupid #workthing) and had me wishing there were more words to read when it was all over because the need to spend more time with Theo and Katherine was strong, really, really strong.
I adored Theo and Kate. Theo is all kinds of laid back yet protective alpha AF goodness. He’s charming and compassionate and I loved how he was all about the long game and when he saw what he wanted, he went for it. Kate fascinated me. While her need for rules and boundaries did my head in a little, I couldn’t help but love how honest she was about her need for them. That honesty made it so easy to like her, even when it frustrated because at times her honesty was more constricting than anything else.
~**~ Our chemistry, as you mentioned, is overwhelming at best, maddening at worst ~**~
As for their journey to their HEA. It definitely took a few unique twists and turns, but I loved watching Kate and Theo become so much more to each other. Theo’s understanding of what made Kate tick and his desire accommodate her quirks, while nudging her to step outside of her box a little was all kinds of swoon worthy goodness. And Kate, for all of her rules, gave Theo that safe place to land and just be himself. I loved their bantering and the smexy was HAWT, but the connection they had, that flow between them was everything. Now, that roadblock that happened wasn’t a surprise, frustrating, but it was bound to happen. Thankfully, though the process was a little painful, they worked things out and I loved where they were at in the end.
This one really was all kinds of swoony goodness, even the frustrating parts, and I really wish this wasn’t the last one ~ though I actually haven’t read the first two books in the series (I have them, I will get to them before year is out…*crosses toes*). I loved hanging out with the Red Lipstick girls and their men and Sarah, and getting to meet Kate’s parents was definitely enlightening. But that epilogue was awesome and I’m really happy I dove into this series, even if it was at the halfway mark, and got to spend time with these unique characters!
