A charming second-chance love story for fans of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.Does first love deserve a second chance? During her first week at art college, Rosie Jackson, almost seventeen, locks eyes with the charismatic Peter from across the room of their nude figure drawing class, and the course of her life is changed forever. Now, on the cusp of sixty-five and recently widowed, Rosie is … sixty-five and recently widowed, Rosie is slowly coming to terms with a new future. And after a chance encounter with Peter forty-seven years later, she is brought back to that summer of 1968, when she fell in love for the first time and dared to dream boldly of a life in Paris. As Rosie and Peter pick up where they had left off, they both begin to wonder what if . . .
Told with warmth, wit, and humor, We’ll Always Have Paris is a moving and uplifting novel about two people giving love a second chance in later life—the choices they make, the lives they lead, and the love they share.

Fizzes with warmth, humor, and tenderness from the first page to the last… I adored it.
I found the characters to be boring. No real spark in their personalities. Just a very ordinary story and nothing much to draw the reader in.
Loved how it was written as well as the storyline. Just a perfect book for a romantic senior.
A fairly realistic tale of second chances -and the fallout that comes with having grown family that refuse to acknowledge parents are real people too -with feelings
What’s not to like, it’s Paris and I can’t get enough of it. Right now you can’t travel to Paris so reading about it helps the boredom.
I was disappointed. Slow and plodding story line.
I enjoyed this book. It takes the reader on a journey of the main chatacter,’s life and deals with her losing her husband, finding love again and how she effectively navigates the attitudes of her children towards her as she is now a widow and getting older. Characters are developed and wonderful. The reader feels as though they live down the street.
This novel was a refreshing and beautiful look at love and relationships. I enjoyed the struggles of the characters and the relationships between them. Rosie was sixteen when she met the charming Peter during the first week of college. Her life changes, but later she marries someone else. Forty-seven years later she sees Peter again the year after her husband has passed away. This begins a string of events that will change her life again. This is a beautiful story about the power of young love. This novel explores loss, fate, and life in general. It explores the challenges and dynamics within the relationships in a family. Author Sue Watson writes about family in a realistic way including humor along the way.
This is the first book I have read by this author, and I really enjoyed it.
It is the story of a romance, which first takes place when Rosie is almost 17 in 1968 and who fell in love with a fellow art student Peter. Complications and traumas arise, and the two do not see each other until Forty-seven years later, both having lived their lives with other people, both now single but Rosie with more obligations of family. They are both different people in a lot of ways now, but still feel the attraction that was once there long ago, and get together to reminisce.
This is a wonderful story of family, love, loss and a yearning to live a life never taken but once dreamed of. This shows us the meaning of motherhood and the binds and worries that come with it. The look at two very different types of romantic love, each there when needed the most.
This was a story that I loved to the end.
I would like to thank NetGalley and Skyhorse Publishing for the ARC of this book.
This is a lovely story of finding true love for a second time. Rosie and Peter were a couple for a short time as teens, their relationship ended and they went on to live their lives apart. Rosie was married for 46 years to a wonderful man that cared deeply for her and her two daughters. A year after his death, she crosses paths with her first love, Peter. The story goes from there.
Peter and Rosie are older and wiser and accept each other’s faults and blend into a close loving relationship better than the one they had as teens.
This is a story that explores the love of a couple in their 60’s. It was written masterfully and I totally enjoyed the journey into this world.
