☆NOW A TOP 40 AMAZON BESTSELLER☆I was a good girl. I ate my vegetables, volunteered at the local autism centre and sat in the front pew of church every Sunday. Then, I got cancer. What the hell kind of reward was that for a boring life well lived?I was a seventeen-year-old paradigm of virtue and I was tired of it. So, when I finally ran into the man I’d been writing to since he saved my life as a … to since he saved my life as a little girl and he offered to show me the dark side of life before I left it for good, I said yes.
Only, I didn’t know that Zeus Garro was the President of The Fallen MC and when you made a deal with a man who is worse than the devil, there was no going back…
This is Daddy Zeus Garro’s story from Lessons In Corruption. A standalone in The Fallen Men Series.

** spoiler alert ** WOW!!!!!! I came across this book by accident on a Facebook post and thought it looked like it could be good and I would give it a try…..oh my goodness I was not prepared for the emotional and riveting story I got!!! This book had me from the very first page!!! The story of how the relationship between Zeus and Lou grows over the years into an all consuming love is simply fantastic!!! And the tears I cried over poor Mute!!!!
I plan to read ALL the books in this series!!! I especially can’t wait for poor Bea to get her own book!!! I hope it’s epic!!!
Definitely recommend this if you love the MC genre with lots of action but also a deep and meaningful love story!!!!
Daddy Zeus and Lou had a connection forged through trials and tribulation. The love these 2 characters have for each other goes so deep and burn hotter than the sun. Great story plot I couldn’t put the book down love the whole series.
I read this book over the course of 8 hours. I opened it, fell in, and couldn’t claw my way out. Zeus is the best Anti-Hero I think I’ve ever seen, and watching Louise morph into LouLou touched my soul and brought me to tears. I grew up much the same way she did, and am stunned to this day as to why my blood can’t understand the need for my chosen family. LouLou is proof that ladies can grow up to be bada**, and still have the soul of an angel. Thank you Giana Darling for writing wonderful characters that draw me in and make my heart bleed. I can’t wait to read H.R.’s story, I just know she and Danner are going to be smoking HOT!
Daddy Zeus!
This was one of the best books I have read. I knew this was going to be a good book but it exceeded my expectations. Zeus was the epitome of perfection he was strong, protective, and the ultimate alpha. Lou was a strong sassy heroine and their chemistry was off the charts. I love Giana’s writing style and she has a new fan in me now.
Another great read from Giana Darling. She is fast becoming one of my favourite authors! Welcome to The Dark Side is Daddy Zeus story and oh boy I’ve heard so much about Daddy Z and he didn’t disappoint, such a hot, dirty talkin alpha of a man. I absolutely loved Lou Lou, to me she didn’t seem your typical 17 year old teenager, she was very mature for her years and this was probably expected considering what she’s been through in her short life and the way her parents treated her. Lots of sexy moments, some absolutely heartbreaking moments, it was one hell of a ride!
4.5 stars for – Welcome To The Dark Side – book two in The Fallen Men series by Giana Darling. This book can be read as a stand-alone but I loved book one – Lessons in Corruption – so much and it introduces you to a lot of the characters in this book so I recommend you starting there first. This book can be full of triggers for some folks but for dirty minded folks like me you will absolutely love it!
Zeus Garro is the president of The Fallen MC and the father of two teenagers that he loves more than his own life. His club and his kids were all that ever mattered to him until her. She is the most forbidden fruit there is but she calls to him on every level and she just asked him to show her what it’s like to walk on the Dark Side. Zeus has no idea what he just got himself into.
Louise Lafayette was seven years old the first time she met her Guardian Monster and he has been protecting her in some way ever since. Now ten years later dressed as every man’s wet dream and “working” at the Wet Lotus she goes by the name LouLou Fox and acts a polar opposite to her conservative upbringing. She is bound and determined to live life to the fullest before she dies and knows Zeus is the only man that can help her do that.
The Guardian Monster and his lil Warrior!
5+ Frekn Stars!!! Best MC book I have ever read. All Alpha, a touch taboo and doused with all the feels! Get your tissues, wine, water spritzer ready because your body is going to be all over the place. I loved King in Lessons in Corruption but Holy Moses send me Daddy Zeus (Is it bad that your mind wanders to a threesome!). It was amazing watching Lou Lou grow up and go from seeing Zeus as a friend to a lover. Hot!! Loved it!! Not enough stars and praises for this book! It amazes me how Giana Darling keeps getting better!!
Run … Grab this book!!
Giana Darling’s writing is just beautiful, it’s hard to put in to words how much I love her books but there are just very few authors that can live up to the worlds that she creates.
After the first book I was wondering if Daddy Z could really be all that and bag of chips? Oh girl, he’s that and sooo much more. He’s one hot man and you can see where his son gets it. Where can I get one of my own???
Even with how strong of a personality he has Lou is able to hold her own and really is his equal whether he wants to see it or not (Lou gives him no other options but to show him age doesn’t mean anything in the grand scheme of things). Daddy Zeus and Lou have such a beautifully emotional and heart wrenching story of self discovery and learning to become the best partner for each other. No matter what these two are put up against they came out of it stronger.
Be prepared to need some tissues for real though y’all
Giana has blown me away with this book! I’m feeling allllll of the feels. The Dark Side was full of everything I love in a book- it’s HOT HOT HOT, full of action and suspense, with a hero who is lethal, dirrrrrty, and sweet, and a heroine who totally. kicks. ass. Lou totally broke my heart. I just love her so much. And Zeus. Ah, Daddy Zeus…. Zeus Garro is every-fucking-thing! He is hot as sin and bad to the bone. I was literally cheering when I saw we get his POV in this book! The hero’s POV is always my favorite. I loved every word!
LouLou and her guardian monster have quite an epic love story and I never wanted it to end. I highly recommend this book and the first book, Lessons in Corruption. I can’t wait for more in this amazing series!
HOLY HELL THIS BOOK.
I finished this book in less than a day. I lost sleep, and read at work between trying to be productive, but I could not put it down (until I was forced by real life). It was AMAZING!! The words in this book are like nothing I’ve ever read (I’ve got 26 highlights to prove it ha). The metaphors were brilliant and beautiful and Darling paints the most vivid picture in every scene. Age gaps are my weakness so I was in it from the jump but I will say the first 10-20% were constructed so phenomenally, I cried because I was so overwhelmed by how raw it was. Often times with age gap books, the taboo grips you by the throat from the start and don’t get me wrong that is HOT and sizzling– but the taboo in this book washed over you slowly and moved it’s way into your heart in such a way that you couldn’t wait to read how they got their HEA and not just how they finally got it on. I was so invested in Lou and Zeus from the jump, not only the sexiness of their ages. I don’t read a ton of angst to be honest because I’m a baby (and to avoid spoilers, I’ll just say I cried like one reading one particular part), but I am so in for all of the Garro family stories from here on out. (And whatever else this author gives us.) Five incredible freaking stars.
GREATTTTT MC book, sexiest hero ever!!!!
Loulou and Zeus’s story delves deeper into these Fallen Men and the characteristics of the belonging to the club and it’s inner workings.
Poor Louise, my heart breaks for her! Dealing with cancer and a family that keeps her at arms length, with no love and support.
At 7 years old, in the beginning of the book, Louise makes a life changing decision and runs towards a man while there is shooting all around her. And from there she idolizes him, and creates a vision of him being her Guardian Monster in life.
This story crushed me. I love when a book captures me and pulls me in, making me feel all the emotions.
More than a Kink
Praises have been sang about this book, so let me say why I enjoyed it. While it hold some steamy scenes what won me over was the conflic and revenge that plays a strong plot to this story.
This is a standalone, however we do get a look at the characters from book 1 so it is best to read that one 1st.
Is hot in here? Or is it just this book?
SPOILER – The man is a pedophile, so it is wrong to give him an HEA. I gave it two stars because it was written well enough for me to read it all, but I kept waiting for our high school student to be rescued from this horrible situation. I love some dark romance, but sex with a teenager (that he’d known as a child!) just isn’t okay or sexy in any way.
It’s a bit taboo but I ended up falling in love with this couple. I waited too long to read this story because of all the references to Daddy Zeus because the daddy thing is not for me. Let me tell you, yeah, it gets used but not in some kink way that I could not handle. Loved Lessons in Corruption and this was a great follow up. I look forward to the final book and completion to this series. Its gonna be interesting in all the best ways.
I liked the main chars even though it wasn’t all that realistic to me.
First off let me say what me want to read this story was the description of Zeus. Hot, older, alpha male biker will make me take notice every time. So that being said he was so not what I expected. Was he all those things, you bet, but he was also passionate, protective, and so loyal it made my heart ache.
And Loulou, it was so hard to read about her struggles. I loved that she finds the strength to overcome the hurdles thrown her way. She’s not perfect but doing her best to survive.
I laughed, I cried, and I never wanted it to end. I adored this story beyond words and five stars doesn’t seem like nearly enough.
This was a book I couldn’t put down. The way the characters developed during the book was impressive. Not your typical biker book, well worth the read.
I don’t even know where to begin with this review. I don’t know if I can truly put into words all of the emotions this book pulled from me. I could read this book over and over again, and I still believe that I would have the same impression. Awe. Complete and utter awe. What an amazing ride of a book. What an awesome roller-coaster to be on. I laughed, I cried (man, did I cry!), and I loved.
This is book 2 in the Fallen Men series, and it centers on Zeus and Louise. Zeus, who is the President of the local MC, is a force to be reckoned with. He is larger than life, and lives life just as large. He is the ultimate bad guy, wearing danger like a robe and unapologetic about the life he leads. Louise is the complete opposite. She is a good girl, the daughter of the Mayor and granddaughter of the local Pastor. We first meet her as a 7-year-old girl in the parking lot of a church looking at the big guy on the motorcycle. She is both curious and awed. What transpires is a 10 year relationship that is both destined and precious.
I loved Zeus and Loulou. I loved their connection and their passion. I loved his protectiveness and his fierce love, first from afar and then (finally) together. I loved Loulou’s strength and fierceness. I loved that Zeus both nurtured and encouraged her to be true to herself from the very beginning. Especially as an neglected child into her awkward pre-teen years, and even in her teenage years. They were two broken people drawn to each other under the worse of circumstances, that were destined to be together. Some people look their entire lives for a love like Zeus and Loulou’s,but never find it.
This was a book about love, the unconditional kind. The kind that you can only dream about. It’s also about family, both by blood and by choice. About how a family can look so perfect but have it dirty secrets on one side, but another family who is loyal and supportive and would give their life for their brother on the other side. And, finally, it is a book about loss. About losing something or someone so embedded in your life that you can’t imagine a life without them.
Yeah, this is more than a book…it is an experience!
