☆NOW A TOP 40 AMAZON BESTSELLER☆I was a good girl. I ate my vegetables, volunteered at the local autism centre and sat in the front pew of church every Sunday. Then, I got cancer. What the hell kind of reward was that for a boring life well lived?I was a seventeen-year-old paradigm of virtue and I was tired of it. So, when I finally ran into the man I’d been writing to since he saved my life as a … to since he saved my life as a little girl and he offered to show me the dark side of life before I left it for good, I said yes.
Only, I didn’t know that Zeus Garro was the President of The Fallen MC and when you made a deal with a man who is worse than the devil, there was no going back…
This is Daddy Zeus Garro’s story from Lessons In Corruption. A standalone in The Fallen Men Series.

“How can a guardian monster abandon his girl when she needs him?”
OMGGGGG y’all this book was so AMAZING!!! I was so excited for Daddy Z’s story and it was everything that I wanted and more! This is the second book in the fallen men series and another fantastic age gap story. The book starts off with Z protecting Lou when she’s just a little girl and their interactions are mostly innocent (she has a crush but he doesn’t react to it) until she turns 17. And then- all bets are off once they reconnect. I loved Lou’s resiliency and strength- she definitely seemed mature beyond her years and she was a heroine who knew what she wanted. And Daddy Z- what a revelation as he was a fierce protector and provider and was loyal to Lou from the day they reciprocated their feelings. And as a couple- they just made each other stronger in every way. And holy heck the steam in this book nearly melted my kindle! I also would be remiss if I didn’t mention how much I loved the supporting characters- King, Cress and Mute. I loved Mute and Lou’s friendship so much! Giana Darling absolutely slayed this book and I am so excited to continue reading the rest of this series.
Am I surprised that I finished this book crying and laughing? Absolutely fucking not. Giana has a way with words that ricochets inside your head when you read, and I find it so beautiful It is impossible not to feel for Zeus and Lou, and all the other characters in the fallen mc world, I adore the fallen and everything about them, and I loved this book, it was so amazing, and I can’t wait to dive into HR’s story
I won’t say much because you have to go in blind with this one, but if you love Motorcycle Clubs, age-gap(talking nineteen years here), forbidden romances this one is for you, but again know your triggers before you pick this book up because it does have content that might be disturbing for some people.
Now, unlike Lessons in Corruption I started Welcome to the Dark side with HUGE expectations since age gaps with older men are one of my all time favorite tropes and I wasn’t disappointed at all.
I need to start by saying that I never read a more epic meeting scene between two characters. In reality, unlike what I would have thought the first part of the book was what really made me fall in love with this story because it was there that I got to know and really believe in their love and relationship. In my opinion I feel like you can really get to know a man when you see him interacting with a little kid. So based on this criteria Zeus is already the best ever because his scenes with his little LouLou were so cute and amazing. Every time that I imagine him as an older badass biker protecting and giving attention to a little girl that he felt a connection to but otherwise had no previous relationship with I die a little inside with cuteness overload.
I was obsessed with their letters, I think it was a really clever way of letting us get to know them better and start feeling a connection with them as a future couple. I really liked that even though he couldn’t always be there with her, he always was in his thoughts and in his letters. He was that unshakable force (aka guardian monster) that gave her a little boost because that is all she ever really needed because she was so strong on her own. I loved Louise from the beginning until the end, she fell in love with Zeus when she was 7 years old and never looked back. After the beginning that I loved, everything was perfect. I laughed, swooned, got flushed with so much hotness and even cried a lot by the end since Giana was so mean. But I totally forgiven her after reading the Fallen Son!! I need to give it a shout out to Ares, he had the best character introduction ever and I can’t wait to read more about him in the future.
This book is really not for everyone.
But it was exactly my kind of book.
It is officially on my list of favorite books of all time if not my favorite book of all time.
(Also can someone please tell me where I can get my very own Zeus Garro please and thank you .)
This is my first book by this author. I can’t believe I waited so long to read any. Although this is book two in The Fallen Men series it can be read as a standalone. However I’ll definitely be going back and reading book one Lessons in Corruption soon.
Louise is a great girl. She acts older than what she is and has her head screwed on. Zeus is an MC President. He is oh so hot, like off the charts hot. The things that came out of his mouth, dayum.
This is an unconventional love story. It’s definitely not a read for everyone but I’m so glad I read it. Can’t wait to read more from this author.
This is definitely going to be one of my favourite reads of this year.
Where to start with this book!!! I loved it! I haven’t read many forbidden romances. When I started this one I wasn’t sure that I was going to be able to finish it. The age difference bothered me in the beginning. I got over that though. I loved Zeus and Lou Lou!!! Not going to lie though, some scenes in the book where a little uncomfortable to read. This book had me feeling all the feels though! It was filled with action that sucked me in and didn’t want to put it down. I quickly got over what made me uncomfortable and loved the book so much! I will definitely be continuing the series!!
Ooooof. Loulou and Zeus’ tale is something else. Intense, emotional and deliciously taboo and filthy. Sexy, take-no-prisoners, protective and possessive alpha males and feisty, sassy, strong heroines that know what they want and are willing to fight for that tooth and nail, no matter how painful at times. To say I loved every single second of the ride is a total understatement.
I just simply LOVED this book!!! I adore the connection, and banter between Zeus (Guardian Monster) and LouLou (Little Warrior)!! Giana Darling has done it again with creating a wonderful story with unforgettable moments, characters and held my attention the whole time!! I highly recommend this book!! Zeus and LouLou are unforgettable!!
Another great story by Giana Darling! Her stories are dark and gritty . Her men are monsters but when he comes to their women they are swoon worthy.
Zeuss and Lulu were no exception . This is an age gap romance of almost 20 years but I love age gaps .
Lulu was a good girl and Zuess was a monster but he was her monster. They started as friends snd ended up being so much more to one another .
Giana never fails to hook me from the first page and I can’t put her books down . I love her stories so much ! You don’t want to miss her stories and I promise you won’t regret it !
I loved the son and I am so thrilled I loved the father too.
At first, I was sceptical because I had an unfortunate experience with other age gap romances, but Giana Darling showed me that I couldn’t be more wrong.
Zeus and Lou stole my heart with their insane connection and don’t even let me start on how much I enjoyed Zeus. I loved him in “Lessons in Corruption”, but now I fell for him even more.
This book gave me chills, tears and butterflies. So good! And that letter from the extended epilogue was a reminder of why Zeus is an amazing father. The perfect ending!
If you are still here, thanks for reading my thoughts about “Welcome to the dark side” and I highly suggest you give it a try.
Louise Lafayette is 17 years old and daughter of the Mayor and the granddaughter of a Preacher which means she needs to act proper, be a lady, go to church and be your typical good girl. The reality of the case she is not like that, she is spontaneous, wild, strong, fierce and so damn sassy.
Zeus Garro is 19 years her senior, President of the Fallen MC and a father. He follows his own rules and will protect his brothers and those he cares about no matter what.
They first met when she was 7 years old when he saved her life in more ways than one. Thanks to this an unbreakable bond between them formed. 10 years later they meet again. To say this reunion was full of sexual tension is the understatement of the year. Though Zeus tries to reason with both himself and her, it’s hard to ignore the connection they have. And even after he promises not touch her in any sexual way, Loulou wasn’t going to make it easy for him. She brought her A game into the field until he cracked and broke his promised. And let me tell you it was HOT!
Their relationship is not a conventional, but it’s real. There’s a lot of sneaking around, but they love each other so they made it work. He looked out for her and she did the same. She was accepted in the Fallen and Garro family in a heartbeat (well… mostly). Yes their relationship is very intense, but there are so many sweet moments between them that will make your heart melt.
This book will captivate you, consume you and break your heart (so have those tissues ready). If you love a good age gap, sexy, MC romance, give this one a try!
A Powerfully Dark Story of Forbidden Love that Will Crack Open Your Soul…
Every so often a book will come along that is so overwhelming, so intense and beyond reproach in story world, character development, and overall ability to plunge you into the unseen depths of heartbreaking, soul cracking emotion, it leaves you stunned and irrevocably altered. “Welcome to the Dark Side” by Giana Darling is one such book.
This second installment of her, The Fallen Men Series, is darkly alluring and unavoidably addictive. It is a continuation of the intersecting lives within the Fallen MC world, a large, all-encompassing literary universe set firmly in place by Darling in book one, as one of love, protection, uncertainty, violence, fierce determination, undying loyalty and individuality, and deep, deep levels of introspection and personal strength. However, unlike King and Cressida’s book, here she steps further into the collective psyche of her characters and crafts a painfully honest, thoughtful, almost delicately tender story of an unbreakable connection born of violence. An event so life altering it sears the main character’s two souls together in ways they are not even fully aware of for years to come.
In “Welcome to the Dark Side” Darling presents us with the ominously enigmatic and hypnotic story of Zeus and Lou, he being the brooding and dangerous thirty-six year old father to King and Harleigh Rose, and prez of the notorious MC, a position of leadership taken by force years before. And Louise Lafayette, the young seventeen year old daughter of the town Mayor, a daughter born into power, position, and privileged societal expectations, a good girl born with a dark soul clawing to see the light of day. She is also a young woman fighting cancer found as a result of the explosive event which propelled Zeus to his position of power within the MC, an event that becomes the catalyst for a decade’s worth of forbidden interaction between the two, culminating in something far beyond what either of them could ever expect. What follows is a breath stealing, gut punching om/ym taboo to the extreme filled voyage that is as viciously honest in its examination of love, as it is condemning in its portrayal of societal norms and expectations. And as with Darling’s first installment of this series, Zeus and Lou’s story is as entrancing as it is jaw dropping, wholly sincere, and intensely thought provoking.
I have to say, this story will absolutely push your boundaries! Some may even cringe at the ages in play here. However, if you are the type of person that believes every being has a matching soul created just for them, an individual designed specifically to complete you; you will understand, appreciate, and fall completely in love with this book as theirs is a tale of how sometimes, a princess doesn’t want a knight in shining armor, but rather, a monster unafraid of the vile and hideous things that lurk in the night.
Here, Lou will enthrall you with her unbridled need for authenticity and embracing her darker impulses. She will stoke the rage within you on her behalf as she navigates the cold and unfeeling familial landscape that is her life, along with the demands placed upon her and her socially constructed existence by her father. You will scream at the pages until your voice is raw as you watch Zeus navigate the events and circumstances surrounding them both, events acting with cruel determination to extinguish Lou from all sides, to crush her very soul into oblivion and her life from existence. You will quickly grow to understand their unbreakable bond despite their realities, and you will stand in line with their MC Brothers to protect them from harm, consequences be damned. Theirs is a connection so stunning, so utterly unexplainable, that it has to be witnessed and felt to be believed and understood.
Look I get it, I’ve read some of the negative reviews railing about Lou’s age, but I implore you to not judge this story at face value! I also get that some may find this book unsettling and that because of this, you may get stuck in the semantics of the erotic overtones at play, but don’t! Don’t sell this book short by being close minded. Look past the surface, really look, you will be emotionally rewarded I promise you. Because here again, with Zeus and Louise, Darling has created a violently resonating piece of writing. It is more than a love story. It is even more than a survival story, or second chance story. In all honesty, it is an important essay on classism, bias and hatred, and of the plastic human interactions we endure within the confines of the “moral” boxes we as a species create for ourselves. It is also a refreshingly honest look at how power can corrupt a mind and soul to the point of trading one’s own kin to the devil for a bigger taste of it. And in all honesty, I wish there were more pieces like it! This series has quickly become my first MUST READ of 2021 and I simply cannot get enough of it!
My god this book was everything, I loved the first one in this series a hell of a lot but this one seriously blew me away I’d give it more than five stars if I could it was that good.
This is King’s father’s story who we got to know in the previous book, he’s the prez of the Fallen MC and man I could literally devour every decedent bad sexy morsel of him he was that delicious, Zeus is seriously sex on legs and so bad he was good.
He’s also such a fantastic father adores his kids and has such a protective streak.
So this is an age-gap MC romance which is so my jam the age gap is nineteen years so seventeen and thirty-six, it begins back when Zeus takes a bullet for little Louise Lafayette during a shoot out.
His actions that day see him incarcerated and at the same time gain the worship and friendship of a little girl, seven-year-old Louise or LouLou, it also equally brings some severe hatred from her father the town’s mayor.
Exchanging letters Loulou’s Guardian Monster Zeus is the very thing that gives the young girl the strength and determination to fight the cruel cancer ravaging her body.
Now lou’s all grown up but living a lie as the mayors perfect privileged daughter becoming ill again was not on the cards and all she wants to do now is live everyday like it’s her last instead she’s still donning the mask she has worn her whole life, hiding behind a wall of pretend.
Until she isn’t anymore and it’s this catalyst that will thrust LouLou centre stage and back into Zeus’s hemisphere and ultimately his life.
So this was super hot the sex was seriously smoking and the relationship between Zeus and Lou beautiful.
This book had all of the feels and made my heart bleed with its deeply emotional narrative.
It was dark gritty and real and moved me to tears, It was also uplifting and genuine and made me smile it was most definitely an emotional one let me tell you.
This was action-packed and as well as the romance we had some further plot progression regarding the NightStalkers quest to destroy and take down the Fallen there was such a lot going on here that I literally couldn’t put this down I was that enthralled, one of my favourite age-gap romances ever and it was obvious to me that Zeus was completely head over heels for his Lou and she equally doted on him right on back.
Also on a side note that epilogue was seriously fabulous I adored it just so much it was super adorable well the bonus one was, the first one You’ll definitely gonna need a cold shower for let me tell you.
I definitely recommend this book like 110% it was exceptionally well written and just such a good read.

Wow! This story was amazing! Two souls collide in a very unusual way. An age gap that was years in the making. Big Daddy Zeus knocked me off my feet! What a freaking STUD!! He’s a monster but he’s Lou Lou’s monster and their love story is Epic!
Giana can’t do wrong when it comes to her writing. She weaved another dark and twisted tale that I couldn’t put down.
: 4.5

I’m in love. This series is it for me. God knows i loved Cress and King but nothing could have prepared me for Zeus and Lou.
This book was everything i ever wanted. The perfect age gap, the perfect plot, the perfect characters. It was just perfect.

Louise first met Zeus when she was only 7 years old, when he literally took a bullet to save her life. And then she considered him to be her guardian monster, her angel in leather jacket. As the years went by, she grew attached to him and she found herself falling in love with him little by little.
Lou was a strong character, she survived leukemia on her own while her parents barely gave her any attention. She was not a naïve and fragile little girl, she was a grown ass woman who wanted the monster in leather, and she went after him.

Zeus was PERFECT. A walking talking God. He’s not only an MC Prez, he’s a devoted and a loving father, a good friend to his brothers and a dirty talker. The dirtiest one of them. He’s literally a God amongst men, he has this aura around him that makes you fall unconditionally in love with him.
What he and Lou had was so beautiful and perfect, his protective and sweet side made me swoon.

These men are not innocent by any means, but you can’t help love them and want to be a part of their family. This series is blowing my mind and I’m loving it so far.

this book was so amazing. this was my first book that I read by Giana and it certainly won’t be my last. I could not put it down. I loved Lou and daddy zeus so much!!! Lou was suffering and recovering from cancer, and it was so emotional by heartwarming at the same time. zeus is such a hottie. he is older and experienced, and is the ultimate MC biker to die for. ugh I love him. there were many twists and turns, but I loved every minute of it!! this was so emotional and such a masterpiece.
The age gap is not my favourite trope usually but I was pushed by my friends to read it for so long that I gave in and here I am.
It’s my first book by the author and really enjoyed the writing and the characters. I have my reservations for certain things that happen with which I don’t totally agree but I’ll be reading more by the author for sure.
Daddy Zeus and his Angel.
Y’all. Tears. Raining down my face.
This book got my crying more over secondary characters than the main ones.
What an incredible story. This was a huge age gap book. 19 year age gap with… a 17 year old. Woah right? But Giana Darling made this love story feel so incredibly wicked and right at the same time. This was story about two souls bound to each other the moment Louise and Zeus eyes landed on each other when Lou was just 7 years old.
He was her monster. She was his angel.
“The sound’a my name in her mouth, comin’ off her lips like a prayer sounded both blasphemous and right. She was done prayin’ at the alter of another man’s church, now she worshipped at my feet and made me feel like my namesake, God of fuckin’ Olympus.”
I’m such a huge fan of Giana Darling now. She knows how to write incredible alpha males who are so dang loyal to their women, they’re willing to walk through hell to reach them.
She also can right some of the steamiest sex scene I’ve ever read in my life.
I even copy and paste the scene to text my husband to rile him up.
This book was incredible. 5/5
I don’t think there’s anything I can say about this book that hasn’t already been said. The bond between Zeus and Lou is a one-in-a-million kind of love. It’s transcendent. It’s the kind of great love and electric chemistry that you dream about. So that alone had me loving their story from the beginning. But I loved the side characters SO. MUCH. And the interactions between Lou and Z’s kids are priceless. It was so much fun to read.
