I get what I want. When I walked through the door of the Cameo Hotel I didn’t expect such a beauty to be working the front desk. The effect she has on me is intense, and I make her life a living hell because of it.I love her spirit, her internal defiance when completing the most inane task I assign her. My two week stay has turned into unending, just to be near her. She’s under my every command if … near her.
She’s under my every command if she wants to keep me happy.
There’s one last thing I want.
Her.

I devoured Welcome To The Cameo Hotel within one day!!! I just could not put it down. Another amazing, well written five star book by KI Lynn. I absolutely love the story-line as well as the main characters, Gavin and Emma. Gavin’s antics were quite funny, Emma’s demeanor and feisty attitude towards him was even better which made for an excellent build up for the sexual tension between them. Their attraction and sexual chemistry is palpable, steamy and oh so very hot!!
Although there were times when I wanted to punch Gavin because he’s an arrogant, moody alpha male; Emma is the perfect woman who makes him a better man and makes their relationship even stronger. Their story is filled with love, compassion and happiness. I couldn’t get enough of them and I seriously didn’t want it to end.
I can’t say enough good things about this book and I highly recommend it to everyone.
I truly enjoyed this story. Gavin was a bit of a jerk at first and it was hard to not want to slap him. But our heroine persisted to kill him with kindness, all while seething behind his back. But she also couldn’t deny the attraction between them. It had lots of twists and turns that kept me flipping the pages.
Gavin Grayson is arrogant, bossy, rude and annoying. When he checks into the Cameo Hotel, he soon becomes the guest from hell. Emma is working at the Cameo Hotel while she finishes her MBA. Turning up to work to find absolute chaos isn’t the way she wanted to start her shift. Neither is having to deal with her stroppy but sexy guest.
I loved Gavin. As his feelings become clear, his sweeter, softer side makes an appearance along with his delicious dirty mouth. He comes across as so well put together but it’s obvious Emma has him floundering.
Emma…I started off really liking Emma but that turned slightly with the whole James situation. Her attitude genuinely irritated me at times but her good points did outweigh the bad.
I enjoyed Welcome To The Cameo Hotel. It’s a sweet, easy read that’s low on drama but has enough going on to keep your interest.

I love to devour anything K.I. Lynn writes, so I had to get my hands on this book. The title and the blurb had me intrigued. And I loved how the story started out.
But, if I’m being honest, there were a few things about the book that knocked it from 5 stars down to 4 stars for me.
I liked the premise of the book. The arrogant, brooding hero and the spitfire of a woman who isn’t afraid to stand up against him. Once he stopped acting like a total jerk, Gavin seemed to have a really sweet side lingering beneath the surface. It took me a while to really see the character development with him, but it was there toward the end of the book. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to stomach him as a character, but it was great to see that he had redeeming qualities, and it just took finding the right person to bring those out in him.
Emma started out as a bit of a spitfire. She never caved under Gavin’s arrogance, and went out of her way to be sweet and charming to him when she was at work. She was a good match for him in that aspect, because she’d go toe-to-toe with him when nobody else had the guts to.
The plot had potential to be something so good, but that’s where a few things came up that made things go off track for me. The insta-love didn’t feel real to me. It felt too rushed, which made it harder for me to buy into the connection between Gavin and Emma. Also, halfway through the book, it seemed like there was too much sunshine and roses. It was like a switch flipped and we went from angst to fluff in the blink of an eye. As a reader, I would have loved to have seen more build up to the fluffy parts of the story.
K.I. Lynn’s writing is fantastic, as always, and she did a great job of setting the scene and making me feel like I was living inside the story while I was reading. I liked the cast of characters, and even the ones who weren’t central to the plot had a role to play and were integral in some way.
I also love the cover of this book. It’s going on my favorites list. That suit …
If you’re a fan of romance and you like a good old fashioned cocky hero, then I would recommend checking this book out. The few things that bugged me when reading weren’t big enough to stop me from finishing, and I still really enjoyed the book itself. And if anyone can write a seemingly intolerable hero, who eventually makes readers fall in love, K.I. Lynn can.
Four stars to this novel!
Whew, Welcome to the Cameo Hotel is H O T!! I love me an alphahole and Gavin Grayson is so alpha, such an asshole, but a lovable one in the end.
Emma is a hardworking MBA student with a full-time managerial job at the Cameo Hotel. She can’t wait to get through these last few weeks so she can quit then start up a long-gestating relationship with her boss, James. But Gavin Grayson comes along and upsets her plan, her entire life. When a very demanding, arrogant guest checks in and seems to make it his personal mission to be an ass to her, she does her job with a smile on her face. She answers his calls and is polite to him. She goes up to his suite and caters to whatever ridiculous demand/command he’s got going on. And somewhere along the line she falls in lust with the ass. She can’t help it, he’s hot. So hot. What she doesn’t realize at first is that he’s been in lust with her since he crossed the hotel lobby and saw her face for the first time.
“From the very first moment I saw her there was an attraction I couldn’t comprehend. Feelings I didn’t want consumed me for a woman I didn’t even know.”
So all those calls? All those ridiculous demands for her to come to his suite and deal with whatever stupid thing he made up? They were all so he could see her. So he could find a crack in her professional mask and make it widen.
“She made me want to fight with her, just to watch the anger flare in her eyes while the smile never left her face. Professional to a fault. A fault I wanted to crack, to break open, to see inside.”
The tension between these two is delicious. And watching them fall first in lust, then in love, was an emotional roller coaster. Would they give in? Then would they be caught? Then would he ever get his stupidly dense head out of his ass and go and get his love back? Gah, this book killed me. The ups and downs. The last bit when he tore her apart and she was waiting (I was waiting) for him to wise up. Sigh…so deliciously sexy and emotional.
Emma and Gavin are my new favorite couple. They’ve got the snarky, witty banter. They’ve got the sexy. They’ve got the swoon. They’ve got it all. So I highly advise you to get your fingers to 1-clicking Welcome to the Cameo Hotel today!
I thought this was a very interesting read. An alpha, take charge, damaged male who fell in love when he didn’t want to. A hard working, life all planned female who knew she would end up hurt in the end but who couldn’t stay away from the man who haunted her working hours and kept her dreams full of him. These two were quite the pair who tried not to fall in love with each other but who in the end gave in to their true feelings. I honestly didn’t know what to think of this book when I started reading it but I’m glad I gave it the chance. We can set up plans and goals for us but in the end they don’t always work out, and this book just helped prove that fact. I’m glad that these two found each other and I’m glad that they were able to get their HEA, even if Gavin did let his past affect his relationship. Love a strong female heroine who helps “fix” a strong alpha male.
