‘This is the first book in a delightful new series featuring a bizarre (wonky!) inn set in the English countryside. The inn is brought to life by a host of zany characters, some supernatural, some not. But all of them are fun and highly entertaining. The story is very well written an provides a blend of paranormal fantasy and cozy mystery. I found it to be an easy read because I couldn’t put it down. I eagerly await the next book in this extremely fun series. Highly recommended.’ Amazon Reviewer

Alf is going around town passing out invitations to the grand reopening of the wonky inn and then she agrees to host a wedding for a vampire couple and then one of the guests gets killed. The storyline gets better and better as the books go on and the characters like great grandmother.

Alf and her staff race to prepare while Alf also needs to cope with unusual events happening in the village. Luckily she has her friends to help. Alf is such a wonderful character and her Wonky Inn ghost staff is delightful. Charity is a nice addition and it’s nice that George is in on the secret now. You go Alf. Loved when she deservingly punched.Yes I know probably bad grammar but…..
Also have to say nice job helping those who need the help. Now can we get you do a few more dates, etc. with your interest (blink blink, lol).
Nice addition to the series. I read it in one evening.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
The story starts like a typical witchy cozy mystery, with a witch finding a body. One would think this is a normal mystery story, but one would be far from the truth. The main story here is the re-opening of an inn – for humans and supernaturals – and the inexperienced owner agreeing to holding a wedding there, where the majority of the guests is a family and friends of vampires, who behave rather badly.
The story is made interesting with funny dialogues, crazy situations and a few events outside the wedding.
Highly entertaining and a lot of fun to read.

You will love this super exciting, thrilling, funny, and quirky Romance. This is a five star plus story and series.
What a way to celebrate the opening of the Inn! What obnoxious guests! I loved this book and I can’t wait to find out what is next for the Wonky Inn! I want to read MORE!
Setting the tone with it starting off with finding a second corpse in less than six months the Wonky Inn owner is on a roll again. This was such a fun mystery it is one of those books that you want to share with someone. My granddaughter and I read it together and enjoyed every minute. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Alf is finally ready for her soft opening of the Inn and much to her surprise she receives a request to host a wedding on the same night as her soft opening, after humming and haring she finally agrees to host it. Now she is worrying about the wedding going off without a hitch, the townspeople seeing her as one of them, what happened to Mr Pearce and if the Mori are back. Fortunately she has a lot of support including DS Gilchrist, Rhona, Charity, Millicent and all the ghostly staff of the Inn to help, but will it be enough. I loved how we were kept guessing in regards to the intentions of the wedding being held at midnight on October 31st as well as who or what is causing people to fall ill in the town but my biggest concern while reading was would the town turn against Alf even though all she wants to do is bring the Inn back to life and be apart of the close knit community. I just love how with each book I have fallen more in love with the Wonky Inn and all of it’s inhabitants along with a few of the townsfolk.

Weird Wedding at Wonky Inn
Wonky Inn Book 3
Jeannie Wycherley
This was great. Alf and her cohorts are back for the wedding of the century at the wonky inn. You of course know it could not go smoothly. What vampire wedding could? Anything involving Alf would have to have a few hiccups. Of course if they make you laugh until it hurts that makes it all right. This was a great installment of the Wonky Inn!!! More Please!!
Alfhild Daemonne, a local witch, set out to deliver door-to-door invitations in the village of Whittlecombe for the grand re-opening of her Whittle Inn on Halloween. It wasn’t until she bent down to smell the roses in Mr. Pearce’s yard that she smelled something a bit “off”, but not strong enough to identify it. As she knocked, the unlocked door creaked open a crack. There was still no answer to her calls, and she decided to go in to make sure he was okay. She climbed the stairs toward a little frightened terrier and heard a buzzing followed by a clatter of something. Mr. Pearce was lying still on the floor and a red globe made of negative energy was hovering in the air, spitting out glitter and buzzing angrily. It came at Alf and, hovering inches from her face, suddenly launched itself through the window, splintering the glass as it crashed through. Apparently her enemy, the Mori – an international highly secretive organization made up almost entirely of warlocks banished for some wrongdoing — were back!
Detective Sergeant George Gilchrist was questioning Alf about what she saw. She knew more than she was saying, and he wanted the truth. Later when Alf went to Whittle General Stores to see her friend Rhona, a customer had come in and said she had seen the victim walking his dog just the night before. Knowing the victim was killed 2 days ago, Alf blurted out that it was impossible to have seen him then. She left the store and the customer, Charity, ran up behind her – and Alf immediately noted, “You see ghosts!” Charity told her about her ability, and Alf admitted she also saw ghosts.
While the investigation continued, Alf was given the opportunity of hosting a wedding, unfortunately on the day of her grand opening. But she agreed, not realizing it was a vampire wedding! With an active murder investigation, paranormals and humans gathering, the Mori back in town, and a vampire wedding at the same time as the opening night party for the town, what could go wrong?
This is a really good book, very well written and characters well defined. Each scene and action is described perfectly, with enough detail to make the reader feel they are standing in the middle of whatever is going on. Humor is always a favorite of mine in a cozy – and this author handled it expertly. The story line is well thought out and moves at a nice pace to keep the reader fully interested. I liked this book so much that I went back to purchase the rest of the series. Give it a try and I’m fairly certain you will enjoy this one!
Set aside a day for this family-friendly tale of the wedding set to take place on the same night as the grand re-opening of Whittle Inn.

Alf’s hard working ghost clean up crew has the Inn almost ready when the opportunity to host a wedding on opening day comes along. She agrees before finding out it’s a vampire wedding, and does her best to pull them both off. I think the stories just get better and I look forward to more. The characters, good and bad, are believable and her relationship with the village adds underlying interest to each installment. This book can be read stand alone because there is enough background added so you can follow along.

The Wonky Inn is Invaded by Vampires
This episode has Alf finally opening her Inn. And what a party is planned! This series has me totally engrossed. The stor moves along seamlessly. New characters are introduced and the situation becomes more realistic and more true-to-life. Already, I can’t wait for the next episode. This book is best read in its order in the series. I received this book for free and this is my honest review
Weird Wedding At Wonky Inn #3 – The additions to this series just keep getting better. Another hard to put down story. I love some of the guest characters; especially when she hit him (read the story), although why use blackmail in this case? Alf mixes a party with a vampire wedding and wonders what else is going to happen; lots do happen. Great-grandmother brings her share to the table and then splits, leaving a spot of bother. George is great with his acceptance of the vamps since he didn’t get on board quickly about Alf being a witch previously; what trust is that. The past is over for Alf as she finds the Mori is still about. Oh, speaking of the past, how about crazed villagers and a burning (read the story). That’s all the spoilers I’ve giving out. There’s more but I want you to enjoy the book like I did, without a book report. I contacted the author about reviewing her books and received this through Booksprout. 4*
The Wonkiest Witch: Wonky Inn Book #1 – This is my first read by this author and I enjoyed the story. As I became wrapped up in the pages, I started enjoying the storylines and the characters and wondering how much witch Alf would become. Since I’ve been reading about witches a lot lately, I get bored when I come across another witch refusing to be herself. Why deny what you are; do you give yourself a lobotomy if you’re intelligent and want to dumb down to normal? One of my role models, as a kid, was Samantha Stevens, she remained true to herself, and an independent woman, regardless of her silly husband’s demands; unlike Jeannie, a beautiful, two-legged Labrador (eager to please her master).
Ms. Wycherley’s writing style is conversational and casual. The likable and interesting characters are developing at a good rate and will probably gain more depth as the series continues. The storylines do a good job setting the foundation from which the series will build. Once the intros are made there’s plenty of intrigue and suspense. A fire opens a can of troubles bringing the witch in Alf to full acceptance. A unique use of ghosts, which I’ve never read. I’m curious about the rest of the stories. I found this author on and her book through Booksprout. 4*
The Ghosts of Wonky Inn #2 – As much as I liked the first book, I loved this one. I absolutely love the ghosts and what they can actually do. This is one of the things I love about this series; plus the fact that the witch uses magic instead of denying who she is. The variety of ghostly characters are great. I couldn’t put the book down, I was so immersed in the fast paced, funny and intriguing storylines. The characters range in personalities, eras and locations, lending the story depth and substance. I wish all the books of the series had already been published so I could chain read them. I contacted the author to review her books. 5*
The Witch Who Killed Christmas – If you at all can, read the other books first, there’s spoilers. Another well written, entertaining story that starts around Christmas, just months later after Wonkiest ended. While not as intriguing as Wonkiest, there was a difficult problem to solve. The cast of interesting characters are still around. The writing style is still casual with humor and drama dispersed throughout the story, this is a quickly read novella. I definitely want to read the rest of the stories. I found this book on Booksprout. 4*
Alf and her ghosts are getting ready to finally open the Wonky Inn in just a few days to the public when she gets a call to host a last minute wedding. With the help of her new assistant Chasity, they both soon find out the wedding is for a vampire to a mortal. What has Alf gotten herself into?
Can Alf keep the vampires from going into the town and causing problems? Can she avoid chaos and catastrophe happening? And where exactly did grandma Gwynn and her trustee owl run off too? Get ready for all the fun and adventure to begin with feisty Alf, her loyal ghosts, the quirky townsfolk, and all the fanged guests at the inn.

Another great book. Talk about a weird wedding. Alf has her hands full, agreeing to the wedding at her inn, but to find out they are vampires. Elderly gentleman in the village dead and to townfold ending up sick. Chaos enuses and will Alf survive. Read and find out.
Vampires, what a partying bunch they are! Poor Alf, no sleep and they’re messing up her newly remodeled inn! What is a witch to do? Read and find out!
