Life isn’t fair. Most women know it. But what can you do about it? Plenty… if you’re part of the Sisterhood. On the surface, these seven women are as different as can be — but each has had her share of bad luck, from cheating husbands to sexist colleagues to a legal system that often doesn’t do its job. Now, drawn together by tragedy, they’re forging a bond that will help them right the wrongs … committed against them and discover an inner strength they didn’t know they had. Growing bolder with each act of justice, the Sisterhood is learning that when bad things happen, you can roll over and play dead… or you can get up fighting…

All of the women are mostly professionals in the book this is first in a series
all they want is revenge & justice to the person responsible for the crime
Amazing concept and a very different read. Can’t wait to see where the Sisterhood takes me next!
Working my way through the collection. Feel like I know each character.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this book and all of my Weekend Warrior sisters!
Fern Michael’s sisterhood series is a very gusty series about women taking control of their surroundings. I am a big fan of strong women roles and this series gives you this in spades. Be prepared to be shocked, sad, to laugh and cry with this group of strong ladies who show that the law needs to be fair to all not just some. As usual Fern …
An unexpected fun read, hard to put down.
This is book 1 in a series of sisterhood series books! I think fern micheals has written 28 or 29 in the series currently. I love that the characters in these books Are introduced throughout the continued series tho you can pick up any book and enjoy it just as much as if you started with book 1. I love a happy ending and an up and down, …
I love whole series of the sisterhood,I have enjoyed the 27 books in this series.
Loved the first 17 in the series, hubby did too.
I am a fan of Fern Michaels and typically am disappointed at the end of each one, This one however left me scratching my head with wonder. I’m not sure how I feel about it. Definitely kept me on the edge. Good writing, good story telling.
I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway and I wasn’t sure about it at first. There were some scenes that made me feel like it was going to be unrealistic, but then the Sisterhood was formed and I fell right into it. The characters are a fabulous group of women from different walks of life that all deserve justice. The way they bicker at the …
Weekend Warriors (hardback) by Fern Michaels is the first in the Sisterhood series. A friend is killed. The justice system fails her family. Her best friend and her mother want revenge, so they take matters into their own hands. They seek out a group of women who have been wronged who want to seek justice with them. As with other Fern Michaels …
Best book
This first book in her Sisterhood series was different from anything else I had read. The series deals (mostly) with finally getting better than even with powerful people (usually men) who have hurt innocent people and got away with it. If you like it, you’ve got a lot more books to read, getting to know the main characters as they deal with new …
Once again, I’ve read all of this The Sisterhood series. I believe that it’s one of the first series written by a woman to feature a ‘team’ of women, which I really liked!
Get even series
Enjoyable & entertaining series
Miss Michaels describes a group of bitter angry women who have been abused. They will go no ends to destroy their abusers including severe physical punishment and murder. Graphic and very disturbing. I do not recommend this series.
It began the sisterhood series which I found wonderful and would like to read this book again!
I’m not entirely sure what to think about this one. The setup and introduction to the characters were really good, and I couldn’t wait to see what they would do to “fix” things. They formed the Sisterhood and set out to right the wrongs vigilante style. But they have the help of a woman with a seemingly endless income and an ex-British special ops …
