It’s just supposed to be a weekend fling. . . . “Stacey Lynn always knows how to perfectly balance sexy and sweet.”—New York Times bestselling author Lauren Layne Fresh out of a long-term relationship, Willow Parks is working two jobs and caring for her mother, whose husband left her with nothing but a pile of bills. That’s why Willow made a vow: no men until she figures out her own life. But … until she figures out her own life.
But while she may not need a man, she could use a break. And a weekend away at a California beach to clear her head? That’s appealing. Even if the offer comes from Trey Collins, the irresistible tech-mogul millionaire who visits her coffee shop every morning like clockwork—and needs a date for his best friend’s wedding. With an adorable, occasional stutter, he refuses to take no for an answer.
Once the weekend begins, Trey is intent on proving how good they can be together. Willow’s even feeling tempted to break her vow—until reality rudely interrupts her well-deserved getaway. There’s no way she and Trey have a future, not with the colossal amount of baggage Willow has to offer.
But Trey is used to getting what he wants. He just has his work cut out for him convincing her that they want the same thing.

Weekend Fling by Stacey Lynn was a fun read that was sweet and emotional. Willow Parks has a lot on her plate. Just being dumped by her long term boyfriend, her father walking out on her mother and her mother falling apart. The last thing she needs is the gorgeous, millionaire
Trey Collins in her life. She is done with men. But Trey is hard to ignore, Especially when he offers a much needed getaway to attend a friend’s wedding.
Willow does not want anything serious right now, but the more time she spends with Trey, the more she falls. Trey knows he wants Willow and will do anything to show her he is serious. Will Willow let Trey in or push him away? Weekend Fling by Stacey Lynn was at times emotional and others sweet and charming.

Happy reading!
Wow, this is so much deeper than a weekend fling. Absolutely love Trey, he is very patient and compassionate with Willow. Willow is a tailspin, she got on my last nerve at times but I also felt sorry for her because she is so burdened down with her lack of control of her circumstances. She’s a very realistic character though and her reactions are very thought-provoking. She has a great supportive friend & Trey has a great support circle as well. The plot really takes a surprisingly serious emotional turn that touches the heart, yet there are humorous times & steamy moments, through it all Trey is constant and determined that Willow is his one and only. Very well written, I got so caught up in this story that I read it straight through not realizing it was past midnight 🙂 I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.
We get Treeeeey!!! I had always loved Trey and was so happy that he was getting his own book, he needed his own, he deserved his own book. I hope you are keeping up with the series because the characters from the previous books make an appearance and I loved it!!. In this book Trey is interested in a waitress from the coffee shop that he goes to and he has been asking her out everyday for a while now but Willow has not had an easy time. First her boyfriend of 5 years dumps her (what a jerk) than her dad left her mother and her mother stopped caring about life so Willow was working two jobs trying to not let her mother lose the house, her car, my heart went out to her so I was happy she got to meet Trey (ahhh) and his wonderful friends who are really his family..Loved reading about Cara and Braxton and Caitlin and Jonas…Enjoy

I’m not sure how I feel about this book. Trey has been asking Willow out for a date for months now and has been rebuffed. The fact that a guy persists in asking despite being told no, feels a bit stalkerish. Not that Trey is a stalker. And for both Willow’s and Trey’s sake, I’m glad Willow accepted his offer. Trey also has a stutter but it doesn’t really play into the story as I think he only stuttered twice. Unless it has some role in the story, it seems a superfluous characteristic to mention. His broad shouldered, muscled body and dark, dreamy eyes got more play than his stutter. This story does delve into the heavy topic of mental health and suicide but in an appropriate way so as to not drag down the story yet not brush off the seriousness of these issues. Mild steam. Heartfelt characters. I really enjoyed the banter between Trey and his friends. And his parents were a hoot!
I received a free copy from Netgalley. This is my unbiased review.
This is a great addition to the Crazy in Love series. Willow is having a really tough time, she is holding down two jobs, just out of a bad long term relationship, and taking care of her depressed mother. Her part-time job is in a coffee shop where Trey frequents. From the first time the successful tech entrepreneur laid eyes on Willow, he was smitten. After months of asking her out, and being rejected, Willow finally says yes to a weekend as his date to his best friend’s wedding. Things are going great until Willow’s life crashes around her. Trey is the perfect guy, smart, kind, loyal, rich and handsome. Willow is a great person who is just hanging on by a thread, and needs a nice patient guy like Trey. Together, they are a really likable couple. I was given an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.
