Wedding War (Romance in Rehoboth Book 5)
By: K.L. Montgomery
5 out of 5 stars
The story Wedding War (Romance in Rehoboth Book 5) by K.L. Montgomery is a wonderful romantic comedy. It is a story that pulled me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Jason Friday and Hannah Robinson. Jason is intelligent, funny, charming, and handsome. Hannah is smart and beautiful. Both of their family’s business has been open for a long time. Both businesses have a good reputation helping out brides and grooms. There has also been a feud between their families for a very long time. Hannah and Jason have found out that Uber Brides are coming to Rehoboth Beach. Knowing that the days of their family’s business may be numbered Jason and Hannah band together. There is an attraction growing between these two. Will they be able to work together? Will they save their business? Will they take a chance and give in to the feelings they have for one another? Read this book to find out. This is such an entertaining book to read. There are moments that I was smiling and laughing out loud. I grew to care about the characters of Jason and Hannah with each chapter that I read. I also enjoyed reading about how Hannah and Jason interacted/bantered back and forth with each other. There are also characters in the book that have been brought forward from the previous books. It is wonderful to read about them again. This is a wonderful book with amazing and unforgettable characters. Highly recommended.

Another great read by KL Montgomery. This author knows what her readers like and she has something for everyone. This book is about Jason and Hannah. Both have been in business for many years serving brides and grooms and making they look amazing on their special days. Jason and his family do not get along with Hannah and her family. Sometimes you need to work together when you have to and that’s just what they will do. When feelings begin to erupt, will they be able to accomplish what needs to be done? Read this book if you want to know how it ends.
I Love K.L. Montgomery’s romantic comedies. Not only does she always brings us a unique story but these are some of the best laughs-out-loud books I have read in a long time and Jason and Hannah’s story didn’t disappoint. They both work for their family run companies that help brides and grooms but they are in the middle of the family feud. When they decide to band together to help their businesses, the attractions becomes apparent and sizzles off the pages. I absolutely loved this story and any of the books in this series
What happens when two families are fighting over a Wedding? Wedding War is book 5 in the Romance in Rehoboth Series by K.L. Montgomery. This book is almost like a Romeo and Juliet type book. Jason’s family is in the business to suit grooms. Hannah’s family is in the business to dress brides. And of course…they are both rivals. That is until a large company comes in and threatens to run them both out of business at which time the two join forces to run this larger company out of town. One problem…Jason and Hannah are very much attracted to one another. Is it possible that they can push their feelings aside to make this business transaction happen? Another brilliant book by Ms. Montgomery. Her books are cute and funny and just an all-around good time! I would definitely recommend this book. It can be read as a standalone.
This book follows Jason and Hannah. Their families are sworn enemies and has been that way for years – until another retailer moves in and they’re forced to work together to save their businesses.
This is the fifth installment to the series you don’t have to read the other’s first but i highly recommend you do just because they are so brilliant! This novel will make you laugh and get frustrated with the main character’s you just to shake them out of it haha but oh my the story is brilliant and flows lovely! It is a page turner and once again you won’t be left disappointed.
With a fine line between love and war, it takes two very special people to come together despite deep rooted differences and make something amazing. In this amazing rom-com, the characters are trying to save not only their family businesses but themselves as they work together to get a large bridal chain store out of their city, risking their families and their love as well. Incredibly well written and with a real depth as well. Highly recommend this book and this series!
Wedding War by K.L Montgomery was a Romeo and Juliet story! I loved the plot and enjoyed Jason’s and Hannah’s story. I loved all of the details and vibrancy that K.L incorporates in her story. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book!
Wedding War: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romantic Comedy (Romance in Rehoboth Book 5) by KL Montgomery
I loved watching the little guy stand up to the giant and wish Mom and Pop shops could fight the evil empire big corporation stores.
Hannah and Jason have so much history with one another but it was adjacent not direct history which I think made their story that much sweeter and hilarious.
I still can’t decide my favorite scene, it’s either the carriage ride or the big wedding. Both of those had me flipping pages as fast as I could read them. I think I laughed through at least half of this book. I loved this story.
Wedding War: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romantic Comedy is the fifth story in the Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery. This was a witty story about Jason Friday and Hannah Robinson. Jason’s family has been providing attires for grooms for over forty years while Hannah’s family has been dressing brides for almost thirty. These two families have become bitter enemies, which only got worse as their business grew. When another bridal company comes to town, will Jason and Hannah be able to put aside their differences for the betterment of their family businesses? Another great romantic comedy by K.L. Montgomery, she never disappoints.
Wedding War by K.L. Montgomery is book five in the Romance in Rehoboth Series. This book is an enemies to lovers romantic comedy that tells Jason and Hannah’s story.
Jason and Hannah’s families have been rivals for decades. As their business grew, so did their rivalry. When a new business comes to town, their livelihoods are called into question unless they can band together. Will they be able to save their family businesses or will they lose everything?
I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun read and I couldn’t put it down.
Wedding War is the fifth book in K.L. Montgomery’s Romance in Rehoboth universe and I am sure once you started with the series you have found yourself reaching for the next and next and next and now we have the Wedding War that is like a wedding reality show on the book pages! You can simply close your eyes and picture all those shows in front of your mind’s eye and mash them together and you get Jason and Hannah’s story or actually, don’t forget to throw in a twenty year old feud and a superstore chain bridal shop and you have the Wedding War! Book 5–Wedding War
This is about two families that have been competing for years and have to come together to save their families business. Will they be able to pull it off?
Montgomery continues to be a one click author for me. If you want sass, comedy, drama, emotion, and just a fun and easy read that leaves you wanting more, her books are it!! And this one – gah. I loved it!! I am a sucker for wedding themed dramatic comedy farse. And heaven help me, this one had me laughing and loving every page. Run and read it today!
Wedding War is the 5th book in the fantastic romantic comedy series Romance in Rehoboth by K.L. Montgomery. I’ve loved this series so far so was looking forward to more fun and games from the people of Rehoboth.
In Wedding War it’s a kind of enemies to lovers story but with a difference. Jason Friday’s family own a shop which provides male clothes for weddings, whereas Hannah Robinson’s family own the local bridal store. The one thing is that the Fridays and the Robinsons have been at war for years and years and no one knows why. Not even Jason and Hannah. But when massive bridal firm Uber Brides who provide absolutely every service you could possibly think of are opening up in Delmarva, Hannah enlists Jason’s help to run them out of town.
I think this has to be the funniest book in the series. When Hannah gets a job at Uber Brides she aims to sabotage services and her antics get funnier and funnier. Jason and Hannah enlist many favourite faces from previous books to help in their hilarious pranks.
This is a great book. I also loves the background story as Hannah and Jason try to find out why there is so much bad blood between their families. This will also provide you with a few more laughs.
Read Wedding War as part of the Romance of Rehoboth Box Set. Jason Friday and Hannah Robinson are two rival families trying to save wedding businesses but what happens went they fall in love? This book can be read as a standalone but there are interconnected characters. K.L. Montgomery’s always will have you giggling over the sweet romance and all the fun these characters have. Plus you are always guaranteed a Happily-Ever-After.
I give Wedding War: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romantic Comedy (Romance in Rehoboth Book 5) by K. L. Montgomery, 5 stars.
This series continues to get better and better with each book. This is yet another fun book in the series. A fun, modern day romantic comedy, this book has the Romeo and Juliet feel (without being so tragic) of two families who hate each other. Why? Jason and Hannah have no idea, but that doesn’t stop the attraction they have for one another — even if it means sneaking behind their familes’ backs. At the same time, Hannah is determined to get to the bottom of this feud. To make matters worse, there us a company threatening to put both their family businesses out if business. What are they willing to risk to find happiness?
The love story is very sweet in this story. But that is not all this book has to offer. It is quite endearing and fun, and a bit suspenseful to see if they can overcome their obstacles. There are so many funny things in this book, but I do not want to give it away. You will know what I mean once you read it. To me, this is the funniest book in the series. Oh and the comment about the naked mole rat — I literally laughed out loud. And of course, the fact that this series is set in Slower Lower (Southern Delaware for those not familiar) really makes me love it all the more since this is where I live.
If you are a fan of romantic comedies, I highly recommend both this book and series.
Every one of these stories have captured a piece of my heart and this one was no different. Jason and Hannah’s story may just be my favorite but shhh don’t tell the others, I may say that again in the future because I swear each one is just as amazing as the one before it. The characters are complex and relatable with chemistry that jumps off the pages. It’s a well written story that’s paced nicely. The characters pulled me in completely and I loved joining them as they learned to work together. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!
