Hot, steamy, compassionate, thrilling. This book is all that and more. I really enjoyed reading this one. This book was written with so much passion it oozed out onto the pages. And we all like a bit of bad boy don’t we? 😉
Fantastic book
Wedding Rings & Champions by Heather C. Myers is Natalie and Chris’s story, and the eighth in the series. I ran a couple of others in the series and most are stand-alone but this one has an Abrupt ending, not exactly a cliffhanger though. All in all a good book and an excellent series. I highly recommend anything by Heather C Myers.

Wedding Rings & Champions is book number eight of the Slapshot series. Natalie heads to Vegas to get over her boyfriend of ten years cheating on her, and wakes up married to Chris. Chris is in Vegas celebrating the Gulls Stanley Cup win, sees Natalie at the club and is instantly attracted to her. The story is good, the characters had chemistry and although I did enjoy Natalie and Chris’s story the ending left me wanting more.
This one was just ridiculous. Natalie goes to Vegas after finding her boyfriend of 10 years in bed with another woman. She meets Chris and they end up married after having too much to drink. His agent convinces him to stay married so that this does not detract from winning the Stanley Cup and due to his past. The ridiculousness was that after spending a week together they were in love, what??? She just got out of a 10 year relationship and already in love..puhlease.. yeah it ruined the series. I rather you stop the series than continue with nonsense.

This is romantic, amusing and sweet. Chris was celebrating their big win with the rest of the Gulls, Natalie was celebrating a friends wedding after breaking up with her longtime boyfriend. The guys ended up partying with the girls, and when Chris and Nat woke up, they were married. Now his agent wants them to stay married until the new season starts, so that the Cup win won’t be tainted by any bad press about an annulment. They agree, and soon realize that they might actually have feelings for each other. Chris is so sweet and caring that it’s hard to imagine him any other way. But then that’s one of the things that I love about this series.

An amazing read! It is beautifully written with a well-developed, consistent, and engaging plot. The storyline is intriguing, emotionally deep, funny, and witty with amazing family and friends. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is intense, instant, and potent. It is a very exciting read and is strongly recommended.

I enjoyed this romance. The plot was fun but filled with emotional tension. I thought Natalie and Chris were both great and I liked them together. Their chemistry was spicy and I though it was so sweet the way Chris championed Natalie. Another winner in this entertyaining series.
Another great book in this series. I love how Chris converts from girl crazy player to dedicated supportive husband with Natalie. She also gets the support and safe feeling she never had in her previous long term relationship. Looks like the beer goggles helped these two are the person they should be with.

The Gulls finally won the Cup!! And what better way to celebrate than to marry someone you just met?
I couldn’t put this book down and I loved the relationship between Chris and Natalie. I love this series so much and I can’t wait to see what’s next!!
I really liked it. It gave me warm and fuzzy feelings. It was easy to relate to the feelings the characters were going through. Feelings like pain, suffering and love. Natalie Bowman found her longtime boyfriend of ten years, Bruce, with another woman in their bed. She kicked him out. Now Bruce wants to mediate the separation of belongings and even spousal support for himself. Natalie was appalled. She was not sure what to do. Her two friends at work, Cam and Drew invited her to Vegas for the weekend. She decided to go. Chris Worthington is a professional hockey player. His team the Newport Beach Seagulls, just won the Stanley Cup. To celebrate the team decided to go to Vegas. While at a club Chris noticed Natalie at another booth. She was with a bachelorette party. Chris went over and introduced himself and asked the table if they wanted to party with him and the team. All the women said yes. The next morning Natalie woke up seriously hungover. When she was drying off after a shower, she saw the wedding rings. She panicked when she realized what the implications might be. She thought it must be a gag the women put her up to. But since she could not remember anything, she would have to have them refresh her memory. Then she heard someone snoring and she knew it was not her friends. She saw Chris the guy she had been flirting and hanging out with. She woke him up to see if he had a ring on his finger and he did. She panicked again. She and Chris decided to get it annulled. Then Chris realized that someone tipped the reporters of his marriage, it was all over the internet and probably the in the news too. When he spoke to his agent, he told him the best thing he could do, for his reputation sake, was to stay married until the season started and quietly divorce. Chris offered to pay Natalie fifty thousand dollars a month for six months if she would agree to staying together temporarily. After a day of thinking Natalie agreed to help him. But she had stipulations of her own. They had to stay faithful to each other. No dating or affairs allowed and he had to attend the mediation meeting she had with Bruce. He agreed. The story continues with them getting to know each other and what was happening to their feelings for each other. Also, it covered how Chris automatically did not like Bruce. Bruce had some not so nice things to say about Natalie and Chris challenged him. Bruce slunk away and at the mediation meeting he was such an @#shole. I loved this book so much I read it twice. It is a short quick read but very gratifying. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
