She’s a working-class bride. He’s a well-to-do groom. Their botched wedding is only the start of their storybook romance.Annette Trevetti felt like a modern-day Cinderella as she walked down the aisle towards her first love and the heir to a small fortune. But her wedding day bliss screeched to a halt when an extremely pregnant woman crashed the ceremony claiming her prince charming was the … claiming her prince charming was the father. Devastated, Annette shakes the dust of her small town off her boots and starts a seven-year climb up the corporate ladder to claim her own fortune. But when her brother gets injured on the job, she has no choice but to return to her hometown and risk exposing the feelings she still has for the man who broke her heart.
Single dad Steve Corbett’s biggest regret is tied up with his greatest joy. When Annette returns to town seven years after she left him at the altar, his love for her hasn’t changed one bit. And if his match-making daughter and their one-of-a-kind elderly relative have it their way, they’d pick the romance up right where it left off. Working alongside Annette on her brother’s construction project, Steve senses the flicker of their old flame. But he knows it will take a lot of sweat and tears to rebuild the crumbling trust for a second chance at happily ever after.
With years and heartache between them, can Annette and Steve learn to have faith in each other and rebuild a new future together?

A fantastic story of regaining love and affection that has been thought to be lost!
A great love story with so much charm! It involves a lost love, an unusual hometown, and a very intrusive matriarch who loves control. Can Annette finally shake loose the feeling of being “poor little Annette” and face the town and how she feels about Steve. Many twists and turns with awesome characters! A great read!
I thought Wedding of the Century was a good read. I enjoyed the characters.
An interesting plot, good characterization, secrets are unveiled, a precocious 7 year old and a wicked mother. What could be better!
Annette and Steve’s story is wonderful! I can’t wait to read more of this series! All the characters are easy to relate to, leaving me wanting to read their stories too.
Loved this story and these characters!!!! Wonderful story, so well written. The characters jumped off the page and into my heart!!!
I really “got into” this book! A similar incidence happened to a couple I knew many years ago, but their ending wasn’t the same. The gradual build to the end was very well written, and made the book linger in the mind long after I had finished it .Fascinating read!
Annette was very hurt and Steve never explained — can they get past their assumptions, small town matchmakers and those who want to undermine their relationship to build something together?
Such a good second chance love story.
Young couple have wedding dramatically stopped through circumstances and misunderstanding. Years later, they met again and things worked out for them.
A second chance story that certainly had some trists I wasn’t expecting. A very good read.
This is a hard book to review without revealing the plot. There were parts I loved but found myself rolling my eyes a LOT. This was a great idea for a heart wrenching storyline but it failed to set up the proper foundation or conditions needed.

Steve: He was too busy playing the martyr. Yes, …
Great
This story was a true meaning to second chances. Annette grew up in a small town that if you were poor they looked down at you. Steve grew up with money but for some reason they fell in love. But in the day of their wedding a woman came in saying she was pregnant but there were too many questions. Now she is back to help her brother after …
Loved the whole series
What happens when a family has one honorable son and another who leaves messes for the other to clean up. All the while, honor looses while hiding the truth to protect the innocent. Twists, misunderstanding, and heartbreak for what seems like for ever. Could a fairy tale ending be on the horizon?
An enjoyable read
Great to read. Hardly could put it down. Looked forward to reading it in the evening. Characters were awesome.
As a 2nd Chance in Romance story, it has more depth the others with this theme. The author tells the story in such a way by using conversations and internal talks of the characters, that you can feel how much this couple changed in the last seven years. Steve and Annette have a lot to work through and truths need to be spoken, before this couple …
Love this series!!!
