A baker who sees the dead. One too many suitors. And a killer. Living in Honey Hollow can be murder. A laugh out loud standalone cozy mystery by New York Times Bestseller Addison Moore All books in the series can be read individually but are best enjoyed in order. My name is Lottie Lemon and I see dead people. Okay, so I rarely see dead people, mostly I see furry creatures of the dearly departed … people, mostly I see furry creatures of the dearly departed variety, aka dead pets, who have come back from the other side to warn me of their previous owners impending doom.
Someone very close to me is missing—and it’s been a nightmare ever since they’ve disappeared. To top it all off, I stumbled upon a body at the Bridal Expo. My sister’s wedding is just weeks away, and I volunteered to take over a to-do list at least a mile long. Add an ornery talking tiger, an unruly child poltergeist, a firework spectacular and you’ll have the most explosive July Honey Hollow has ever seen.
Lottie Lemon has a brand new bakery to tend to, a budding romance with perhaps one too many suitors, and she has the supernatural ability to see dead pets—which are always harbingers for ominous things to come. Throw in the occasional ghost of the human variety, a string of murders, and her insatiable thirst for justice, and you’ll have more chaos than you know what to do with.
Living in the small town of Honey Hollow can be murder. more
Lottie Lemon a supernaturally-gifted Baker is also a detective and she is determined as ever for her dear sister Lainey’s wedding to go smoothly without bodies coming into the equation. Fate has other plans. A poor soul is murdered and it’s up to Honey Hollow’s PD’s premier detective Noah Fox, the good judge Everett, and the quirky, Lottie Lemon with a mind of her own to bring this sweet soul to justice. Honey Hollow always has carnage now. This should be a piece of cake, right? With Lottie’s busy life whipping her around can she still stick to her guns and crack this homicide case wide open? Addison Moore has an amazing dynamic with these characters, with fresh plot lines and ideas popping up in every book. They can be read as standalones or in order of the series. Either way, it’s a tasty treat for any reader looking for a cozy mystery!
OMG, I just love this series. I can’t even truly express how much. The characters, the town, the story plots are just so fantastic and together the create this fun, amazing adventure that I want to relive again and again. I’m hoping the author is going to write more, because I need more of the amateur sleuth.
Fantastic read, well written with a great plot and characters. I was engrossed from start to finish. This can be read as a stand alone but I enjoyed reading them in order. This book has mystery, action, romance, comedy and twists. In Honey Hallow Lottie Lemon has her hands full. On top of running her bakery, she is trying to find Everett, find a killer and make sure her sisters wedding is perfect. She doesn’t have to do it alone though….she has Noah, the spirit of a tiger, and a child spirit. I love this series and can’t wait to read the next book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Booksprout.
Addison Moore is an amazing writer and I just love this series. Each and every book is meant to be a stand-alone but I must say that you should read them all as they are so awesome that once you read one you will want to read them all.
In this one, Lottie and Noha who is her ex and a Sheriff are on the hunt for her boyfriend and his ex Step Brother Everette who had been kidnapped. Let us add on top of this the fact that Lottie is running her bakery full time, trying to make sure that her sister’s wedding goes off without a hitch. In this book, Lottie had the help of a tiger and a little spirit along with Noha to help her do whatever was needed to find Everette and bring the killer to justice.

Holy smokes! This book has taken so many turns, it has left my head spinning!! If you read Macron Massacre you know it left us with Everett missing. Lottie and Noah have teamed up and vowed to find him. As if Lottie didn’t have enough on her plate trying to find him, she also stumbles upon poor Jana Marsh’s dead body at the bridal expo. Not only does Lottie need to find Everett and bring his abductor to justice, she has to find another cold blooded killer too! This book was absolutely wonderful and there is a huge twist in Lottie’s love life at the end. It will make things very interesting. I can hardly wait for the next book!
I absolutely loved this book. It makes you wanna go back and read it again. Great addition to the series
Wedding Cake Carnage is a laugh out loud stand alone Cozy Mystery. I swear though go back to book one and you will fall in love with the series. Between Looking for Everett and running the bakery the last thing Lottie needed was to find a body. With the help of Noah, a tiger, and a child spirit Lottie is determined to find Everett, catch a killer, and make sure her sisters wedding is perfect.
If you love cozy mysteries with romance, action, and a paranormal twits you have found your series! Just a fair warning though one isn’t enough you will find your self flying through them for just one more taste!
Lottie has her hands full in this one! She’s gotta find out what happened to her boyfriend, who took him and where they took him too. And then bam, another murder to solve! This time a tiger comes from the other side to help guide her in this murder mystery.
I just love this whole series and this book did not disappoint! Lottie and all the characters of Honey Hollow come alive under Addison’s writing and it’s such a fun escape from reality!

Addison knocks it out of the park with two mysteries wrapped in one delicious visit to Honey Hollow. Lottie is Wonder Woman in this book with her running the bakery, solving two mysteries and aiding in a wedding so there is truly never a dull moment within the covers! Honestly could not put this book down and fell asleep while reading it from needing sleep, that’s how good it is!
Love this series! Cant go wrong with Lottie Lemon and the crew! Never know where they may end up next!
***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Every time! Addison Moore is my hero. I really don’t know how she whips up these books in no time flat! Each and every time, I am completely sucked in and fall in love with the characters.
The Murder in the Mix series has become a favorite of mine! I absolutely love Lottie, Essex, and Noah. Of course another murder happens and Lottie is right in the middle of it. Lottie and Essex are quite the team but I love how Noah never gives up and keeps fighting for Lottie. He fights for her heart and to keep her out of jail!
I am still hoping and holding out for Lottie to be with both Essex and Noah! Sorry … Not Sorry, but I cant decide between the two and Lottie loves them both. I am really interested to find out what happens when Noah’s divorce is actually finalized. Things are going to go down! In the mean time, I am here along for this roller coaster of a ride.
This series has drawn me in from the beginning. With each new book I read I get more enmeshed with the characters and the storyline unfolding in Honey Hollow. With the love triangle of Lottie, Everett, and Noah, and a murder around every bend, it is so hard to put these books down! Addison has done an amazing job describing her characters and the storyline, that you can “visualize” what they look like. It’s hard finishing these books because you just want to pick up the next one and carry on with the tales of Lottie Lemon! Until the next one….
I have loved every single book in this series, and this is no different! Another page turner! Now with two mysteries to solve, a bakery to run, and, making sure her sister’s wedding goes without a hitch, will Lottie be able to handle everything? This will keep you at the edge of your seat! She now learns what her Grandma Nell has been hinting on the last book. With a help of a Tiger, would she be able to solve this one?
Although this is a stand alone, I highly recomment this series!
Yeah! Another riveting book! I am so glad Everett has been found! I love this series and can’t say enough good things about it. You must read it! It is one you will read over and over again!
Wedding Cake Carnage has blasted up to #1 of the entire MITM Series!! Addison had me feeling so many emotions in this book, I didn’t know I was crying till I was sobbing so hard I had to put the book down.
There are seriously sooooo many emotions. And I felt every single one. I laughed, i was angry, i was scared for a hot minute, and boy, oh boy did i cry!!
The Murder in the Mix series has grown and i like the direction it is headed. Lottie and her crazy crew are a part of me and i can’t wait to see what comes next!!!
When you pick this up, you won’t put it down!!

Noah pitches in and helps find Everrett, but his crazy stalker is still out there. And now Noah’s wife has announced she has agreed to the divorce. This is the day Lottie has dreaded.
