Delilah, an orphaned girl under the thumb of cruel uncle, intent upon marrying her off to HIS profit, arrives in London to meet her prospective groom. A godmother, previously unknown to Delilah, arrives on the scene just in time to aid her in meeting both the groom and society. Our hero is apparently the victim of a grave injustice that it takes the entire book to reverse.
I found this story fast moving, holding the reader’s attention. There were some mysteries involved in how scandals had developed around the Hero, and the unraveling was a surprise. Clean and interesting read.

Miss Delilah Johnston was sent away to school
after her uncle became her guardian following
her parents deaths.
Now her uncle has called her back from the
school as he has arranged a marriage between
Delilah and The Earl of Coventry.
The Earl has found himself disgraced from
society due to a concocted story.
Lady Newfield, Delilah’s godmother has come
to Delilah’s aid as she presents to society.
The conflict about the Earl needs to be resolved
for the couple to move into a trustworthy and
fruitful relationship.
The story was captivating, emotional and well
written. It is full of interesting plot twists where
the characters go back and forth from the past
to the present trying to find the culprit behind
the falsehoods staining the Earl reputation.
The story was replete with rich period details,
class conflicts, suspense and intrigue.
This is book # 3 in the Convenient Arrangements
series. It can be read as a stand alone.
I volunteered to read Wed in Disgrace. Thanks to

I received an ARC copy of this book and here’s my review:
Delilah is sent off to a young ladies school after her parents’ death. She then receives a disturbing letter, which sets this story in motion. Turns out she has a (fairy) godmother! And the hero…so misunderstood by society and quickly enamored of Delilah. As always, there is a mystery afoot. Someone wishes our hero ill and the couple sets out to find out why. I always enjoy the subtle sarcasm about Regency society, such as the untalented musical performances that must be endured! Yet another sweet, Regency romance by Rose Pearson.
This is the third book in the Convenient Arrangement Series, which can all be read as stand alone’;s. This book brings us Delilah Mullins who has been under the care of her Uncle as guardian. When she is summoned from school, it is to find out that he has arranged a marriage to Timothy, the Earl of Coventry. Not sure how she will survive this, she meets her Godmother-Lady Newfield, who intends to see she is well taken care of, unlike she has been up to this point. When she discovers who her intended is, there are rumors about his character. Will Delilah be stuck in a horrible marriage or can together they make this work? This book clips along with many interesting twists and turns that will keep you reading till the end. There are people out there who are trying to discredit Timothy even further. Will they take it too far? Can Delilah help him discover who is trying to do this? I really enjoyed the characters in this story. They were genuine and the love they found together was truly a HEA. I would highly recommend this book and the series.

Do not pass by this book. Even though there are only 201 pages in this story it packs a powerful punch. There is intrigue, blackmail, cruelty, misinformation, lies, dark secrets and confusion. In the beginning the H/h are betrothed without either meeting the other. I loved how alive the h became throughout the story. She was a timid fearful thing and yet with the unconditional support of her godmother she learned to be braver. She is a kind, thoughtful young lady. She is empathetic to others except to her cruel guardian, her uncle. The H is a good decent gentleman who was maligned in a most serious way by someone who was a friend. The ton did not know who to believe. Most sided with the liar and others held steadfast to the H’s side proclaiming his innocence. He lived in disgrace. The H did not know why this was happening. But he kept his chin up and lived through the snide gossiping remarks while he was at an event. All heck broke loose when the H started stepping out with the h. The h now convinced of the H’s innocence, she and her godmother worked with the H to get to the bottom of the scandal to clear his name. What an exciting book. A must read. You will not be disappointed.
The third book in the Convenient Arrangement Series a well written story with a very good storyline. This is Miss Delilah Mullins and Lord Timothy Coventry’s story that I enjoyed reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I am always excited when another Rose Pearson book comes my way! Once again, she did not disappoint. What a great series! This is such a delightful story filled with intrigue, mystery, and romance, I found myself immersed in the book until the very end. I just could not put it down! Her descriptions and writings style are so well put together that the story pulls you in and keeps you captivated until you finish. Delilah and Lord Coventry are a wonderful couple. They had a bit of a rough start, but as they spent time with each other and got to know each other better, they shared a great bond which developed into a beautiful relationship. I fell in Iove with them right away and couldn’t wait to see how things turned out. A beautiful and enchanting story all the way through – I am really looking forward to the next book!

This regency mystery had an evil greedy uncle, a disgraced lord, a debutante, and a godmother. Delilah’s uncle didn’t care about her and only used her for his own financial gain. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had something to do with his brother’s death. Lord Conventry was ruined in society based on the rumor that he beat up the brother of a lady he wished to marriage. While courting Delilah, he is plagued by people who try to cast more slurs upon his name and break up their courtship. Along with Delilah’s godmother they work to solve the mystery and restore Lord Coventry’s good name.
Delilah is being forced to marry someone she does not know, but has heard about their bad reputation. Will Lord Coventry and Delilah be able to find out the truth and will Delilah fall for the Lord? Great story.

Delilah is taken from her boarding school to London, where the uncle she has not seen since she was made his ward as a child announces that she is to be wed to a disgraced viscount. Delilah is happy to meet Lady Newfield, her Godmother, who intervenes with her uncle and introduces Delilah into society. Timothy, the maligned viscount, turns out to be rather adorable and Delilah gains confidence through her association with Lady Newfield, Timothy and another young lady Miss Jamieson, who becomes her friend. The question of who is trying to destroy Timothy becomes more urgent as events escalate and come to involve Lady Newfield and Delilah.
While I wished that Delilah would get some backbone at the beginning, I liked the person she became by the end of the book. Timothy, Lord Coventry, is a good man overwhelmed by the meanness that has been sent his way. The supporting characters are well defined and likeable. The reader who likes sweet historical romances will enjoy this book.

Miss Delilah’s guardian, an old miserable uncle, calls her home from school to complete an arranged marriage to a disgraced Viscount. She knew that since her uncle did not care for her at all, he would not have chosen a good man as her husband. Her only friend at the school was a maid, Betty, and she wanted to take Betty home with her as her lady’s maid. Despite the risk, since Delilah could promise nothing to Betty regarding pay or even the job when she married, Betty agrees to go with her.
Delilah finds that her betrothed, Timothy, the Earl of Coventry, is a broken man, destroyed by scandal, yet swears that he did not commit the crime the vicious lies and rumors accused him of – violence against a marquess. Will Delilah trust the man she is to marry and help him clear his name? Or will she allow him to face this on his own without her support?
I really enjoy this author’s stories. Her writing style is excellent, and the characters are always portrayed in a way that the reader gets to know them, both the good and the bad things. I always feel so bad for the women if a bad marriage is arranged. Marrying a stranger is awkward enough, but having no input or choice makes it a terrifying experience. Grab your copy and see how these two are brought together and whether they can open their hearts to find love and trust in each other.
I am loving this new series by Rose Pearson! She has a way with great character’s and plots, I also love the way she adds a little danger and suspense to the stories that keep you turning the pages to find what is going to happen next. In this story Miss Mullins, uncle betroths her to Lord Coventry while she is away at school. When her parent died years before she became the ward of her uncle who now had her fathers title, he sent her away to school, as he could not get rid of her fast enough. After years of being away at school she receives a letter from her uncle telling her she is to come home for a short time to be married. Lord Coventry needed to marry to produce an heir, but because he was an outcast by some of the Ton he had to make a contract with anyone as long as they were suitable… All the twist and turns, danger and adventure, could they find their happy ever after together? I recommend this book, an excitingly wonderful book.

Whenever Pearson has a new book, I become absolutely giddy with delight. She has the most wonderful of characters and situations in her stories. I am on edge and delighted with the storylines and conversations. When away from the book, I cannot wait to return. This book was an amazing and clean regency romance and I can’t wait for more.

This is the third book in the Convenient Arrangement Series, all the books can be read as stand alone.
Miss Delilah Mullins has had a very hard time since her father passed and her Uncle become her guardian. Lord Denholm

The school is a horrible place with server punishments for the slightest misdemeanor. After many years she gets a letter from her Uncle telling her that she is leaving the school but will not be at his place long as he has arranged a marriage for her. She is sure he has found the worst sort of gentleman due to how little she cares for or about her. When her maid, Betty the only friend Delilah has had at school learns she is leaving she is upset for her. Delilah ask Betty to go with her, as her life at the school is awful. After thinking about Betty agrees with her. When Delilah and Betty arrive in London, she meets her Godmother for the first time one Lady Newfield !

She founds out from her Godmother that the Earl of Coventry has been set aside by society, he is invited to some events and Balls but not many. He has been accursed of attacking The Marquess of Chesterton.
As Delilah and Timothy meet and try to learn about each other it becomes clear someone is out to ruin him.I
Can Delilah, with the help of her Godmother help Timothy found out who, can she learn to trust him should she ?
This is a fast moving story with secrets and twists and turns for both. Will they find a happy ever after
you will have to get your copy to find out. It is a sad, fun, interesting read not to be missed. As with all of Rose Pearson’s book it is a clean read.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is such a charming story of Delilah and Timothy. Delilah was the daughter of an Earl but when she was left orphaned, her horrible Uncle inherited the title and sent her off to school. Years later, he informs her that he has made a match for her. He makes a deal with an Earl who has falsely accused and is looking for a wife to gain respectability and pays the Uncle a good price for the match. A touching story as the two grow fond of each other in-spite of their circumstances and unravel the twisted conspiracy that ruined Timothy’s reputation in the first place.

Rose Pearson does it again. This book was great! I’m so happy she brought Lady Newsome back from her other series! I love this fiercely protective and outspoken woman. Lord Coventry makes a wonderful unlikely hero. Miss Mullins is fantastic as she gathers strength from her godmother. It was nice to see her evolve from a scared little meek girl into a strong and confident woman! I love all Ms Pearson’s book but this one was my favorite so far! She is the Queen of Regency Romance! I highly recommend this book and this author!

Another great Regency Read by Rose Pearson. I loved Timothy and Delila’s story and all the characters. These two had a lot to overcome to find their happy ending
I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Delilah and Lord Coventry. The mystery surrounding Lord Coventry’s disgrace is a strong and interesting back story for their blossoming romance. It interestingly shows a revengeful and unforgiving side to the tonne contrasting the refreshingly warm and honest interludes of new friendships and relationships. A good read.

Her uncle – an awful man – wants her to marry a disgraced Baron. Who she has never met!!! Fortunately her godmother – who she has JIST met – is on her side. And so they agree to court first. Even though her uncle is totally against it. And so they get to know each other — not an easy task when someone is out to get him in even more trouble . . . TOTALLY A SUPERB BOOK. Rose Pearson has done it again!!!

A questionable agreement or a desirable future?
If the amount of cruelty suffered by Miss Delilah Johnston was any indicator, she should definitely be wary of her sudden betrothal at the hands of her bullying uncle.
If the shame of a false accusation wasn’t enough, Lord Coventry could only hope that his betrothal agreement would bring him a modicum of peace and happiness.
Delilah and Lord Coventry’s beginning may be a bit rocky, but with the help of a special person, they may actually find true happiness.
Wed in Disgrace is a very sweet and clean romance between two likable personalities. Their story is simple but enjoyable. It even has a bit of a mystery to be solved. Although the ending is happy, I do wish Rose Pearson would have included an epilogue.
Content 411: This book is very clean. It is suitable for any age reader.
