Treasure hunters with addition of romance make winning combination.
A little slow starter but glad I gave it a 2nd shot. Enjoyed this, especially how it ended.
A little disjointed the way it mixed old and new. Skimmed some of the old. As a Christian was not into reading about that portion but could understand the story building.
Interesting plot twists and character development in a real-life setting. Authentic history of the region the adventure takes place
Boring.
It was a good mystery, well written with great characters.
I like a light-hearted, Christian romance along with a good story. This book basically fit the bill. I have heard the story of the Lost Dutchman’s Mine since I was a kid, and I loved reading this story about it. There is some Indian mysticism mixed in with this story, which I was uneasy with as a Christian, and I skimmed over those parts. Overall, though, I enjoyed the story.
Interesting and well written.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I had a hard time putting it down. The characters were interesting and well-developed. The plot was original, even though the story of the Lost Dutchman Mine is anything but a secret.
Interesting plot that brought a pair of unlikely characters together in a clean story that really kept me involved.
I liked this book. I was happy with the ending. The two main characters developed nicely. I am trying hard not to write a spoiler for the next reader. The book held my interest
Brought you close to God.
After the first 5 chapters – didn’t finish. Just wasn’t there
This was a very interesting read. Exciting, 2 competing private recovery specialists, a man and a woman, travel out-of-state, to solve a mystery of a missing map. It is connected to a murder mystery as well. I really enjoyed this book and could hardly put it down.
This is one of the best books I’ve read in a long time. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a good mystery!
slow moving plot
Could not stop reading this book. A real page turner.
I finish reading the book and it was not disappointing. An unexpected end.
It catches you from the first page…very good read – Loved it!
This was a well written book that I enjoyed very much. Just enough information was given to make you want to guess the who, what, and where until towards the end.
Good story, overall
Great plot and action
