**spoiler alert** UNPOPULAR OPINION COMING!!!
Ok, so I am not going to lie, when I first started reading this book I absolutely hated it!! I thought it was weridly written, made no sense, and I just could not get into, but I thought that I am going to stick with this book! It has to get better! And then, out of no where I get hit full force with …
While I did guess at what the twist ending was about half way through the book, it was still a rather enjoyable read. This is a pretty quick read and easy to get through but that could be because it draws you in and is incredibly difficult to put down.
Definitely a great read. Starts off kind of slow but you get hooked and want to keep reading!
I read this book really quick considering I have a newborn. It was actually unpredictable for the most part.
This is honestly one of my favorite books ever!! Not only is the story truly unpredictable and unique but the writing style is unlike anything else I’ve ever read. 10/10 recommend!
A hauntingly, beautiful tale. We Were Liars is a story you won’t soon forget, though my heart wishes I could. I’ve seen so many mixed reviews on this one and finally decided to see what all the talk was about. It’s been 5 hours since I finished the audiobook and my eyes still burn from all the tears I shed. Honestly, there’s not much I can say …
Meh
This book sucks you in with the interesting character dynamics and keeps you wondering where the story is going all the way to the end. There is never a dull paragraph!
Beautifully written with a powerful sense of place and time. Flawed characters I truly cared about. Highly recommended.
Well just rip my heart out, I was not expecting that twist. I was not fully prepared for this book. I knew very little about it, and the description doesn’t really give you much insight into what the book is really about, and just, wow. I think it’s actually better to go into this book pretty blindly.
I really enjoyed this book. I like the …
This book got a lot of love–and a lot of hate–when it first came out. Personally, I loved it. It was haunting, with characters that both impressed me and made me want to throw things at them. The writing is gorgeous, and the plot immersive. I flipped pages faster than anything in my eagerness to find out what happens!
We Were Liars is tragic …
Welcome to the unreliable narrator. I don’t want to give anything away, but either what you read is all true, or she is lying to you. You have to read it and decide for yourself–good luck!
A hauntingly beautiful tale of social responsibility, teen angst as they mature, and the kind of debilitating injury a major shock can produce. The story begins at the beginning, taking a lazy, circuitous route through the 3 summers before the revealing and shocking end. I very much enjoyed this book.
This book reads so good!

“It is good to be loved, even though it will not last.”
This book is about family, love, and grief. As much as I disliked this book, it left me emotional at the end because of this sudden twist. Twist not only had hit me, but it had me very confused. I was actually confused throughout the whole book because I went into …
Breathtaking, beautiful and an ending that caught me totally off guard.
This book was amazing. It was intriguing from the very beginning, and I didn’t want to put it down. I was not expecting the plot twist—I even read beforehand that there was a plot twist, and I was STILL caught off guard. I couldn’t stop thinking about this book for days after I finished it. Highly recommend!
one of my two favorite books that are not in a series. I DEFINITELY recommend this book if anyone is looking for a book that doesn’t have a series attached to it, and a quick read.
This book has everything I could want and more. It only took a few days to read because it was such a page-turner, even though it’s of decent length. 10/10 HIGHLY WOULD RECOMMEND!
Lovely, beautiful book that hits all my feels about rich kids in tragic circumstances.
