From New York Times Bestseller, Corinne Michaels, comes a sexy new STANDALONE romance novel.I’m not a one-night stand kind of woman. I’m especially not the woman who has a few drinks at a concert and ends up in bed with my childhood celebrity crush, Eli Walsh. However, that’s exactly where I find myself. What’s a girl to do after a drunken mistake? Run. I grab my clothes and get away from the … and get away from the powerful, irresistible, and best-sex-of-my-life superstar as fast as I can. His gorgeous green eyes, rock-hard body, and cocky smile have no place in my world. My life is complicated enough.
Someone forgot to tell him that.
Eli is relentless. Pushing his way into my heart, wearing me down, proving he’s nothing like I assumed, and everything I need. But when my world shatters to pieces, he holds the broken bits together. Unwillingly, I fall desperately in love with him.
He made me think we’d have forever . . . I should’ve listened when he said we could only own tonight.

Absolutely LOVE this book! It’s one of those re read over and over kinda books!!!
I absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this book! I have never cried so many times while reading a book! It felt like blast from the past and reliving my crush on Justin Timberlake when he was in N’ SYNC. Sooooo dreamy! It did have a little humor, keyword is a little, since Corinne thinks she is a romcom author(lies). Eli and Heather are so beautiful together and it makes my heart so happy remembering their love story. Guys, do not pass this one up, you won’t be disappointed!
Oh my. I love everything Corinne has ever given us, but I’m fairly sure Eli takes the cake! There were so many emotions that I felt as I read Eli and Heather’s story. You feel happiness, heartache, you feel like you’re one of the girls and you feel the love. I couldn’t put the book down when I started. I didn’t want it to end.
Eli is a rockstar, an actor and the man every girl dreams about. I couldn’t stop falling for him. He found someone that intrigued him, someone that didn’t treat him differently because of his status. I loved that piece of the story because it made him seem like a normal person, not a “famous” rockstar who can’t have a normal life.
Heather hasn’t had it easy. She’s dealing with the loss of her parents prior to the book taking place, an ill sister and being sought after by one of the hottest rockstars of her teenage years. Watching Heather and everything she has going on in her life you can’t help but want to crawl through your kindle and give her a hug.
I loved Heather and Eli. I loved how they interacted with each other, I love how they built their relationship and fought until the end to get what they wanted, each other.
Like every teenager growing up, Heather has had a crush on Eli Walsh for as long as she can remember. The singer/actor starring in all of her wildest dreams/fantasies.
What would you do if your fantasy came true?? Who would it be? An actor? A singer?
Corinne Michaels writes the story of every teenage girls’ fantasy come true.
Heather comes from loss, heartbreak, and constant struggle to care for a dear one…while Eli has his own demons and well kept secrets- can Heather get past social status and get to really know the man who is desperate to make all her fantasies a reality?? Get to know the REAL Eli Walsh?
Corinne Michaels takes us on a ride of love and laughter through We Own Tonight! It is a sweet and emotional story that you will love from the first page to the last.
Anyone who crushed on a boy band growing up will relate to Heather. Now she is grown up and goes the concert where the band she loved is playing. She never would have thought that the lead singer would lock eyes with her and end up fulfilling her teenager fantasies and so much more.
Why oh why have I waited so long to read this book??? This story was full of witty banter, heartbreaking moments, explosive chemistry and finding that once in a lifetime love. I was so taken by Heather and Eli that I couldn’t and wouldn’t put this book down until I read the final words in their story. Believe me when I say this is a story you MUST read! I will leave you with this….”I wasn’t living before you, I was waiting. We were ONE heartbeat, ONE breath, ONE moment in time where there was nothing other than US!” With words like that how could you not want to read this breathtakingly beautiful love story.
I really enjoyed this story. It was not your typical romance trope either with the “hot rockstar” and I loved that about this!
Heather and Eli were magical in their interactions and their story. Seeing Heather care for everyone but herself broke my heart, but I could also relate. Her sister Stephanie became her responsibility early on after their parents died. Having the 12 year age gap also made it feel like a parental role that Heather had to take, rather than the big sister she should have been. Add in Stephanie’s illness and how it affected them both, you knew Heather needed some romance in her life, even if just for one night.
Enter her childhood crush, Eli Walsh of Four Blocks Down, and front row tickets. Mix in some heavy drinking and catching his eye, you have her getting pulled to the meet and greet after.
Eli is his dealing with his own beasts and having to face that he is over 40 and life might be catching up with him. Top it off with some health issues of his own that he doesn’t want to deal with, and you have a recipe for an explosive romance.
I loved that there was love, laughter, tears, compassion, trials, and chances for real growth in these characters throughout this story. This is one that will stay with you long after you turn the last page.
Right off the bat this book was win for me because the characters were older. Not like, super old but I really appreciated that Eli is 42 and in a boy band! Uh, yes please. Give it up for the forty club! I just loved Eli. He’s a good egg. Heather was a little wishy-washy for me only because she was going on and on about her ex-husband and that she has mega trust issues because of said ex. We get it, he’s an ahole for leaving you in your time of need. It was like beating a dead horse. But other than that, I really, really, really enjoyed the hell out of this one. I hope Heather’s bestie Nicole gets her own book, she was so much fun!
Yet another book by Corinne Michaels that I absolutely devoured. We Own Tonight is captivating, emotional and speaks to that little girl growing up.
Let me explain that last part. Most of us women grew up with a childhood crush on some sort of celebrity. Heather’s just happens to be a member of the boy band that she grew up obsessing about. Hmm. Sounds just like me. When we get the first part of the book and she’s attending a concert of her favorite childhood boy band, who are now in their mid forties, I immediately got her. Let’s face it. Most people my age chased around New Kids on the Block and for the past several years, they have been doing tours and our childhood/teenage inner selves came pushing back out and reverted us back to screaming, swooning and some might even cried. So I got you Heather. I know what you were going through. Haha
I will admit that in the first part, while it was fun and entertaining, I was a bit weary on how this was going to go. Once I got past the initial fandom screeching, I had high expectations for Eli and wasn’t sure if they could be met. Of course, I should have known better. Michaels always delivers exactly what I need at the right time. It’s like she’s writing for me. Wait, she is writing just for me, right? That’s how I imagine it.
We Own Tonight allowed me to escape to my childhood fantasy of marrying a boy band member but also delivered the author’s signature angst along with the emotion that we crave. I actually cried at some points, which is hard to get me to do. It just proves how well written everything is and how emotional involved I got.
I don’t need to say anything else other than get this book right now. Allow yourself to escape, feel and ultimately swoon. Be captivated and moved. That’s all I’m asking.
I loved this book. It was such a beautiful and emotional love story. I definitely recommend this book and this author. The audiobook was wonderful and the narrators were fantastic.
We Own Tonight by Corinne Michaels is the first new standalone centering on a new group of friends from other books she has previously published. Told in dual POV between Eli and Heather this story is one of angst, pain, loss, emotion, betrayal and love. It is a book that shows that despite the large amounts of angst, love can overcome. Despite the loss that Heather has experienced in her life, love can make you stronger. It’s about Heather realizing that opening herself up to love doesn’t make her more vulnerable, it makes her stronger. Strong enough to handle Eli’s own troubles. Eli realizes that with heather and their love for each other he can truly be himself and open up to her and together they can make it through anything. I did not make it through this book without shedding a few tears but it was soo well worth it. Up next, One Last Time. Enjoy!
Wow! This book bought on the #Feels!!! The author goes beyond the typical “love story” that takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions! I loved how Eli & Heather met and the fact that you had a couple of plot twist that you won’t see coming. What really made this book a #Win for me, is that it explored mature love. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for “younger love” but I like to know that love is still a possibility over 40!?! This was another very solid read from the author, she #Rocks!!
“Thank you Jesus for beer. Or whichever person made it”
You know good decisions happen after sayings like that! But to follow-up with…
“I need a Go-Pro for the next time we go out.”
Gold. Pure gold. Corrine Micheals makes you laugh, cringe, smile, and have tears streaming down your face. Hope, despair, and fingers crossed will keep you reading the magic that is contained in these pages.
Magic that has you cracking up when you want to cry. Magic that makes crowds disappear. Magic that makes even hurts go away.
It’s a beautiful thought..to own the night. But it’s all about what you do with it!

Corinne is one my favorite authors. I love every single book she has written. The cover doesn’t matter, I don’t even need the blurb, if Corinne wrote it I will buy it. This book is now one of my absolute favorites! I felt every emotion you should feel with a good book and then some. I loved reading the fantasy, about the beloved boy bands from my youth. But her sense of humor in this book is what makes it on my top five list. She reminded me so much of the banter with my own girlfriends, and the belly laughs I got were priceless and at the perfect time! Read this book now!! It will not disappoint. Thank Corinne for sharing your words, time and so much of yourself with your fans. You are one talented lady!
We Own Tonight is one you won’t regret! I could not put this book down. Eli is just everything! This book is every fangirls dream come true!
I was physically pulled into this book from page one. Written so well, I swear I was in the crowd watching the first scenes unfold in front of me. I could feel the heat of the bodies around me and could hear the screams of the fans.
I couldn’t put this book down. I didn’t care I needed to be up in three hours to go to work-Eli and Heather demanded my attention, and they got it.
Corinne Michaels describes this as her introduction to Romcom…I will admit I had many laugh out loud moments. Don’t let her fool you though. In true Corinne fashion, she knows how to hit you with every emotion throughout this epic read!
Eli is a character of hers that has a status all his very own. The moment you hit “The End” you will find yourself going back to the beginning and starting all over.
I laugh, I cried, and had hair tingling goosebumps spread like fire with how Eli made me swoon.
The title is perfect for this story, for Corinne definitely owned my night.
I had a feeling in would fall in love with these two. I cannot even begin to say what I truly feel about this. I DON’T give out 5 stars because I like the author, and this is my only way to show my loyalty. I award 5 stars because I fell in love with an amazing book. And that is what I did. Fell perfectly and absolutely in love with Eli Walsh, and I promise you will too.
Heather is a tall-standing, beautiful, powerful woman who has a lot on her plate. She’s a cop, with some pretty big family obligations to take care of on a daily basis. She’s loyal and courageous, and everyone loves her. She’s just a great heroine. Corinne did a great job with character development in this book. Heather is so amazing. Period. Ohh, and the girls in this book??? PERFECT!! Her relationships with her friends is just awesome. They love each other and they are so funny together. That makes the crying even worth it. (Ohh and just because I cried while reading doesn’t mean you will-. I cry when perfect guys show emotions, commercials, watching people hold hands in the park, looking at babies… I cry at everything, so don’t take that part literal).
I have to say that if I had to choose my favorite Corinne Michaels hero, I’m not sure I could, because every single one of them is absolutely different. I’ve always had 1 go-to dreamboat worthy hero (see what I did there?), but with every new book it gets so much harder to choose. However, Eli is show stopping. So now we add him to a long line of amazing men that we love and steal from each other. No doubt about that. I never expected him to be so forceful, and immediately drawn to Heather to the point that it was over for him. She was it and that was that. I love reading about men falling in love. The best part of a book is when you can feel the emotions dripping off the pages. You definitely can with this one.
Things happen, which I cannot and will not spoil, but it formulates the story here, and as the plot develops, these two get more perfect. You are probably thinking how can that happen?? Right??? But it does. I just does. I promise above any and all reader promises that you will love this story. I voluntarily reviewed this book given to me by the author, and I will read and reread this book as many times as I can, Because it’s just that great. I hope you love these two as much as I do.
We Own Tonight by Corinne Michaels was an absolutely beautiful story. I devoured this book. I loved how real and raw Eli and Heather were. Yes, Eli was a celebrity, but at the heart of this story, he was only a man.
Eli Walsh is what dreams are made off and Heather did plenty of dreaming and fantasizing about Eli Walsh for years. Eli is part of the boyband Four Blocks Down that Heather and her friends have crushed on hard. For her it has always been Eli. Her friends decide they need a night out to remember their youth and their love for Four Blocks Down, so they attend their concert.
The last thing Heather expected was to have a one-night stand with Eli. She is not that kind of woman. She has responsibilities she takes seriously and finding herself mixed up with Eli Walsh is not responsible. So what is a girl to do? Grab her clothes and run. But running from Eli is not so easy!
I loved Heather. She was strong and independent, but also vulnerable. Life has not been easy for her and is full of complications. She is responsible for her sister, who is ill, and needs to be constantly cared for. She has a very stressful job and an ex who broke her heart when she needed him the most. Eli Walsh is not a welcome distraction in her life.
However, Eli was one determined man. There was something about Heather that lured him to her. It did not help that he was gorgeous and charming, but he was also irresistible and determined to win her over. He finds ways to show her she is important to him and is willing to accommodate her needs and wants. I seriously loved Eli.
After being let down by her ex, Heather finds it hard to depend on anyone but herself. However, Heather slowly lets Eli in to her life and heart. Though she is apprehensive, he wins her over with actions. I loved the lengths Eli went to show her what it means to have someone in her life she can count on. But when tragedy strikes, will it be too much for them or will they find a way to move forward together?
I loved We Own Tonight by Corinne Michaels. It was such an emotional story, but also heartwarming. I loved the story, the characters and all the feeling evoked while reading. To me, Corinne gets better and better with every book she releases. This is a must read!
Happy reading!
This book made my cry in a good way. Loved the storyline and writing. I loved every second. Corinne Michaels CorinneCom sucked me in. I love Eli Walsh even though he could be a pain sometimes. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
