New York Times bestselling author Charles Martin’s breathtaking novel of love and redemption.

Charlie tries to separate relationships from work. But when his choices produce devastating consequences, he sets out to right wrongs, traveling to Central America where he will meet those who have paid for his actions, including a woman and her young daughter. The hero is a drug runner. And he’s among my favorite heroes EVER!
My first Charles Martin book, and it won’t be my last. I want to explain why in this review, but there were so many reasons to love this book that I’m having a hard time summarizing (I hate writing long reviews).
In a nutshell, Martin does what many Christian authors THINK they’re doing but fail to achieve — he tells a gripping, believable story …

This was my book club’s favorite read in a long time. It starts out with a fairly amoral main character – to the point that I wondered if I should keep reading. Stay with it!! This is a wonderful story of redemption by an incredible author. Charles Martin’s books are always stellar.
