I loved this book!. It had great themes, interesting “weird science” story lines…and if course….who doesn’t love Golden Retrieves???This book is a page turner, a sleep stealer, and all in all a great read…
I don’t usually like Dean Koontz books because they are usually way out there, but this one was the exception. The characters were more realistic except for the two super intelligent creatures.
I found it hard to put down. Great read.
Excellent read as are all of King’s books.
Great rad!
What a great and original thinking. As a dog lover I could appreciate and love the book. Although it is sort of unbelieveable, but that does not take away from my enjoyment.
This early work does not fail to meet Koontz fan expectations. He delivers a fast-paced thriller with characters that audiences are sure to make connections. Not for the first time, does the plot involve a heroic golden retriever and a hair-raising mutant creature. He explores themes that he later develops in the Frankenstein series.
I love Dean Koontz. I can always count on his books to grab you right away. This was another page turner.
One of my all time favorite books..thought provoking and hopeful.
Second time in my life I’ve read it; positively a page Turner, and stays with you forever…
My favorite author who never lets me down. Amazing!
One of the best books I have ever read
I have read this book twice before. It is so good that I re-read it every couple of years.
One of my favorites from this author. Makes one sit up and take notice as the characters develop and the story escalates. Have read several times and will probably read again.
Love Dean Kointz’s writing, I get so involved with the characters. And I love the dogs in his stories.
Scary all the way
Love this book. Have read it at least 3 times over the years. Koontz invents characters that you love and some you despise. Dogs are always his greatest characters. Highly recommended this book and most others he has written.
After reading this book, I looked at my dogs wondering what they were thinking!
I loved it. Most of Koontz books are great reads. They grab the attention of the reader and pull them inside.
Love Dean Koontz!! This was the first book of his that I read and it got me hooked on his writing.
