“The sparks we’d once had lit inside of me again.”
5 dark, twisted and suspenseful stars!!! OMG… this book was a page turner… Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen… boom I was wrong!
Ethan Valor and Reagan were high school sweethearts, but college and real life got in the way and they broke up. Years later, divorices and kids, they happen to cross paths again. And the minute their eyes meet, and neither can deny the attraction they still have for each other. Little do they know, there’s a serial killer on the loose and looking to throw their world on it’s side. And when it starts to hit too close to home can Ethan protect everyone he loves before its too late?
Look, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… Kimberly Knight knows how to write one heck of a suspenseful book. I love a great book that keeps you on your toes and this one definitely does that. You think you know who the Unknown is, but just when you think you’ve figured it out… NOPE a huge left turn happens! This book is definitely one of the most unique and creative books I’ve read in a long time!
Holy friggin’ moly! Watch Me is quite the ride. I thought that I had it figured out who was doing the killings/stalking until one little thing, and then I was like “Whoa! What?!” There were some really good twists in the story, and that made it so fun to read. Once I got going I didn’t want to stop. Watch Me is a second-chance romance meets mystery and suspense. Does it get better than that? Not for me. Just go read it already.
Watch Me by Kimberly Knight is a beautifully written Romantic Suspense. The author kept me glued to the pages and holding my breath all the time. It mixed passion, suspense and emotions perfectly.
Ethan and Reagan has reconnected after years after their unfortunate separation. They married other people and have kids. But as soon as their paths cross in a chance encounter, they realize they have never stopped being soulmates. Ethan is a police officer or detective and Reagan is studying Forensics. When a serial killer hits the town, they are in danger. And so are their loved ones. And this deranged cruel killer will be really difficult to bring down as the killer is watching each of their steps!
The story is fast paced and well balanced. The author built up the suspense extremely well. Ethan and Reagan’s chemistry was scorching hot and intense. Like they were not separated at all. And I loved how they acted as partner and supported each other. Technically Reagan was not in the case. But she realised Ethan’s need to control and monitor her life. She also acted as the safe place for him and took away all his stress when required. And Ethan respected her, cared for her and protected her. They were an amazing pair. A significant part of story was dedicated to the killer’s POV. That added to the complexity and I was hooked to the story instantly. The puzzle pieces were brought together nicely and the whole process was very clever and believable. The love story did not get side tracked by the crime chronicle. Rather the dangerous twists and turns brought them closer. The ending was really surprising and I did not see that coming at all.
Watch Me by Kimberly Knight was intense, captivating and adventurous. It was a love story. It was a thriller. It was a sensual story. It was a powerful combination of sultry passion, soul deep love and adrenaline rush.
Received ARC for Honest review
A terrific romantic suspense that had me on the edge of my seat. I devoured this story and am so bummed that it ended. The characters are fantastic with a connection that one can only hope to find in their lifetime. The storyline grabs you from page one and keeps you intrigued with the suspense and twists until the very end. One that everyone needs on their TBR lists. A must read and I cannot wait to see what she writes next.
I absolutely loved this book! It is just the perfect amount of sexy time, mystery, and suspense. As someone who has a criminal justice background and has always been interested in serial killers, this book was right up my alley. Ms. Knight did phenomenal job at bringing the story to life; even the victims who were killed by TLK were given life in this story. I cannot say enough good about this book.
I love that we get Ethan’s story after we first met him in Use Me. Ethan and Reagan were high school sweethearts. After Reagan went away to college, their relationship ended unexpectedly. Both moved on with their lives; they married other people and started their families. Twenty three years later, they unexpectedly bump into one another. As their relationship heats up, a serial killer begins to wreck havoc on their lives. Ethan, a Chicago detective, is forced to spend more and more time away from Reagan as he hunts for the killer all while the killer is taunting the two love birds. The reader is kept guessing who exactly the killer is, while still hoping Ethan and Reagan can rekindle their love and make their relationship work out this time.
I really enjoyed Ethan and Reagan’s story. The mix of romance and crime worked really well. I was very happy that the characters were in their 40’s it made such a change to read about more mature characters. This was a fast paced story that kept me guessing who the killer was until the end. An enjoyable story with likeable characters.

Exciting, compelling, thought-provoking and creepy. This romance is a rollercoaster ride as Reagan reboots her life after her divorce. She has returned to Chicago and is taking a class in CSI to pursue her true passion that she put on hold years ago. She gets a job bartending at Judy’s, the local bar, which lands her in Ethan’s path. Ethan is an intense cop but is working to find more balance in his life and is shocked to see Reagan behind the bar at Judy’s. Reagan and Ethan were in love but when she went off to college in California, well, a break-up followed and now, 23 years later they get a second chance at love. Of course, Ethan’s job gets intense as a serial killer emerges using some very tricky and timely techniques. It definitely made me rethink some of my online activity. As the killer takes an interest in Reagan, the stakes go up exponentially. Will they find a lead on this killer in time? Will these two embrace the love they lost so long ago? This story kept me guessing with a great mystery as this amazing second-chance romance evolved. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.
This book picks up pretty close to the end of Use Me. It’s definitely a second chance romance, with a twist!!
Loved every bit of this book, the reveal of the stalker totally threw me!! I couldn’t put this book down and was so sad when it ended!! Well done Kim!!
I absolutely am in love with this book!! It is a brilliantly written second chance romance, that captivated me from the first page to the last. I loved the romance between Ethan and Reagan and their chemistry is sinfully sexy. This story is extremely well written, suspenseful, mysterious and a definite page turner. I highly recommend it!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Watch Me (Dangerously Intertwined #2) by Kimberly Knight is an amazing romantic suspense. This book is so well written and will take you on a wild emotional roller coaster ride that keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat. What a great read!! I highly recommend this book!!
OMG – WOW!!!!! It took me only a second to remember the previous book in the series (Use Me), and I was completely BLOWN away by this second book.
Holy moly! the level of detail made this book Soooo much of a wonderful thriller. I loved the second chance love as well. I actually got shivers during portions of the book while I tried to figure out who the killer was.
OMG – the one thing I can say is READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!! its absolutely amazing!!
Watch Me is the second novel in Dangerously Intertwined series. It can be read as a standalone. This story is a fast paced, drama filled, exciting, second chance, emotional, love story that will keep you guessing till the end. I read this in one afternoon, I had to find out what was going to happen. Ethan and Reagan never stopped loving one another even with all the years that passed. They picked up as no time passed at all, and they still had the spark. It also gave me another insight to the watchers. I’ve made my family take extra precautions with their devices. Such a riveting story.
A wonderful second chance romantic suspense story. Kimberly makes you believe in all the emotions and feelings of Ethan and Reagan from the first time they dated, when they broke up and their getting back together all these years later. She has you guessing about the killer until she decides to reveal who it is. Truly a fantastic read!
Wow… My head is still spinning and I finished this last night and slept on it before I reviewed.
Well, lately I’ve been reading a lot of Ms. Knights books, and when I say read, I mean devour… One thing this has in common with other books she has written is how well played out it is, how well written it is. In preparation for reading this, I read Use Me, and boy did that book kick me in the ass with emotions, suspense, thrill, mystery… All of it… So I was eager to get this and devour it, and I did in under 24 hours, which isn’t hard to do with this authors books, she sucked me in so deep that I could put the book down.
Watch Me had my heart pounding, my mind reeling and me flipping pages. Part of me needed to know the answer before I had even finished the book, I had to stop myself from skipping parts just to find out. I NEEDED TO KNOW!! But I managed to make it through without spoiling it for myself… JUST! This took me on a rollercoaster ride and I loved every bit of it.
Ethan and Reagan were a treat, I absolutely loved them, and the romance between them. The heat, the chemistry and the overall balance between these two was addictive. Seriously… SO DAMN HOT, but in saying that the author didn’t overpower it with steamy heat scenes, she mixed it in with a load of suspense and mystery, and even a little thrill and action. She kept my attention from page one, and as the story progressed, the deeper I got sucked in, needing the answers. Just when I thought I had figured some of it out, the author goes and throws me off, multiple times over and everything I thought was the truth and answered… WERE NOT and I think that’s probably what I loved most about this story. It was so unpredictable. It was so well thought out as though the author actually did the work to get the right information for this plot, which to me speaks volumes! It was kind of scary that she knew so much about stalkers and the mindset, and the whole plot to be honest. The detailing was on point!
Go into this expecting the unexpected… Expecting to be so glued to the book that you burn your dinner (Yep, it actually happened.) I could not put this town. LOVED IT!!
5 Stars!
Watch Me Arc Review
I signed up to read and review this book and I’m so glad I did. I hadn’t read Use Me yet so I did in order to prepare to read this one and I enjoyed it but not as much as I absolutely loved this one!!! Watch Me at first starts with Ethan Valor ending up at Judy’s the bar that brought his sister and her now husband together. Well Ethan is in luck when he finds that his high school sweetheart Reagan McCormick is now working there. They can now pick up from where they left off or so they think.. Their love and chemistry is perfection. But then there is the serial killer on the loose that will soon play a part in both their lives. So in this book not only do you get to read from Ethan’s and Reagan’s point of view but Unknown’s (aka serial killer) also. This book to me has it all from the steamy romance to the suspense/thriller elements. Watch Me will leave you guessing and wanting to read until the very end. It doesn’t get any better then this and sadly I don’t know where to go from here…
Thank You Kimberly Knight for delivering everything I have desired to read in one book.
You wont sleep for a month after reading this!
I’m going to start by saying I love this book. You can tell she researched every aspect of the story, from computer malware to the mind of a stalker. Plus the romance between Ethan and Reagan is perfect. This story will unnerve you a bit because the stalker is so well thought out you’ll think hes watching you now. This book will keep you guessing until the end. I have no nails left because I chewed them all off.
I loved Use me and I really loved Watch me. I loved the whole killer vibe. I love all of Kimberly Knight’s books and you can’t go wrong with reading anything from her.
Well, this was a first. I almost skipped to the end of the book to see who done it. I thought I had it figured out but I was wrong, soooooo wrong. I thought I had it figured out. I thought I knew how it would end. I was wrong, soooooo wrong.
The author stumped my deductive reasoning. The author had me biting my nails, wondering who would be next, why were they chosen. What was it with the item left at each crime scene. I never figured that one out so if you do message me. Okay???
For those of you that haven’t read Use Me you won’t be familiar with the characters. Don’t worry, although Use Me is amazing, you can read it later. Sergeant Ethan Valor is a member of the Chicago Police Department. Recently divorced; he bumps into his first love, Reagan in the same bar that Ashtyn and Rhys met in Use Me.
It doesn’t take long for things to get hot and heavy. Things really start to heat up soon after. Their is a serial killer and Reagan is on the list. How can Ethan solve the crimes and protect Reagan at the same time? Is she really in danger, and how do they know? These were the questions I needed answered. I wouldn’t put it down until I knew. I couldn’t put it down until it was solved.
And when it was solved, when Chicago was safe again not only thanks to the detectives but Reagan’s solving the “how” it got even better. The author knows how to write a Happily Ever After that can leave me smiling for days.
