Book 6 of the Crystal KingdomLilah McClure may be mouthy, bossy, and overly bold, but she knows what’s fair and hates injustice of any kind. When she and her cousins are captured by the mountain fae, she learns they’re living in the freakin’ stone age. Equality between genders? Nope, not even as a joke. The female fae need a champion to stand up for them against their king, show them how their … how their lives should be free from oppression. Lilah is more than willing to take on that job. There’s just one big, sexy, problem. Ferrus.
Ferrus sees no issues with how things have been for centuries. His beautiful, strong, independent woman is making him question the norms and traditions he’s known all his life and wonder if maybe their society is in need of an update. He isn’t sure what to believe, but he’s fallen for this strange little human, so he’ll do his best to keep her from being thrown into the dungeon, or eaten by wild forest creatures.
Lilah has to negotiate with a cold-hearted king for the future freedom of generations of females and show the fae she loves that his ways are barbaric and must change. We can’t forget that some guy wielding dark magic is after her and her cousins, wanting his own revenge on the Crystal Kingdom.

Stand up for change
What’s a girl to do when she finds herself back in the social dark ages? Why work towards change of course. Or at least get your man to speak for it. I love how the author is able to come up with so many unique societies in this world. The author really did an excellent job of creating the depth to the society that I could almost imagine being there and interacting with the characters. These characters are amazing! Lilah is just as feisty and sassy as ever, and Ferrus is open minded and willing to change. That’s probably a good thing since his mate is a lawyer. The author really kept the intensity high between an unmoving King, a betrayal in the making, and those bad guys who continue to search for these weary travelers. This book is great as a stand-alone, but will make more sense if read in order. This group still has further to go before finding the island and I can’t wait to read all about it.
This is book 6 in The Crystal Kingdom series and I would absolutely read the previous books before reading this one. Lilah and her cousins are still trying to make their way back to the Crystal Kingdom. And their journey takes them to a land where they are captured by mountain fae. A group who still lives in a time when there is no equality between the sexes. Lilah can’t stand to see any kind of injustice towards people and she is just the person to take a stand against the king for the women being oppressed. Ferrus see’s nothing wrong with the way his people have lived for centuries. However, his brave woman is making him question his beliefs and traditions. Now he has to decide if their society should be updated or kept to the norm, along with trying to keep his human out of the dungeons. Along with safe from the man wielding dark magic that is after them and wants revenge on the Crystal Kingdom.
I really liked this one! Lilah is brash and sassy and I loved everything about her! She definitely isn’t afraid to stand up for the things that she believes in, no matter what the cost may be. Ferrus knows Lilah is his mate and every instinct he has is to keep her safe and make her his, even if that means going against his king. And I loved that he made a point of trying to see her point of view on things! I really enjoyed their interactions with each other. There was definitely a lot of laughter for me through this story, and that made it all the more worth it to me!
Utterly fantastic. Was amazing following on from the previous books. Highly reccomend starting from book 1 in the series as its easy to get confused. But if you love paranormal. Magic. Romance. Faes and fated mates this is the book of all books to read! With a no nonsense female lead and a man willing to risk everything to save not only his love and fated mate but his family and his kingdom this is what u want to read.

Absolutely the best and the worst world for Lilah and her cousins to end up. True it’s an escape from the stagnant lonely life she’s been living but now one of the cousins has found her mate and is a constant reminder of what she’s not. While running to find their way home out comes the chauvinist Male fae telling her that even her words aren’t allowed.. nope she’s reached her limit and all will feel her wrath… including the hot one she wants to climb lol.
She builds worlds! Welcome to Millys newest release **The Warrior King** I so enjoy her stories.
Archaic ideas and a way of life has our heroine being sassy and stirring a big pot with a little spoon. I love dragons so Ferrus was my dreamboat *grins* the thing is when you are brought up in a certain lifestyle you don’t know what’s different, but the inner dragon doesn’t care about what’s going on the only thing Ferrus’ dragon cares about is their mate. Though Ferrus wants to make it better for Lilly, can he if he doesn’t understand? can she teach him…why their way is so upsetting to her.? Oh, and everyone isn’t happy with the pushy I wanna change things Lilly and a bit of danger lifts its ugly head. Will this, can this be a happy ending?
A very cool little story here love the world in this series and most of the characters though Lilly left me a bit cool didn’t feel a lot of connection with her. So worth the read it’s fun, cute, and steamy. Enjoy.
Milly Taiden
I loved this book. Milly does such an amazing job drawing you into their world that I was getting angry on behalf of the women just like Lilah. She is a strong heroine that these women need and not all of the male fae are what they seem.
This is all that Ferrus has ever known..
As the Prince he doesn’t see everything but this human woman is just what he and his men need to shake up their world.
The story of Ferrus and Lilah was so uplifting and entertaining. It took you on a journey to explore the multitude of feelings regarding hurt, jealousy, injustice, acceptance and redemption. We also got explore what happens when we get those parental messages and how they shape who we are as adults but also how we miss so much time, when we don’t understand and target the wrong people in our upsetness. This book as good, I want to see how the different fad continue to work together to beat LUzzUH and come together to make this great as well as key people get their own stories like FERRA, sister of Ferrus. Such a great read .
This is the 6th book in Milly Taiden’s The Crystal Kingdom series. Some books in this series are a hit and miss for me, I’m a little unsure with Warrior King. Although I was entertained, I really couldn’t care less about Lilah. I find it a little difficult to warm up to her, perhaps it is because I found her to be whiny in the beginning. I did warm up to her when I read why she got that way but still first impression counts as they say. I do like Ferrus and chemistry with Lilah is explosive.
As much as I like to say that this is a stand-alone, I feel that the reader will get the entire experience of the world building if this series is read in order. This book is free to read on KU.
I laughed and I turned pages. Its hot steamy and keeps you waiting for more. Lord why did these men not ready. 21st Century update coming and they didn’t even see it coming. Come join the saga. You will be hooked like most who read Milly Taiden’s work. You must read and you will agree.

An excellent read. Lilah is one female who doesn’t take anyone’s crap and Ferrus has met his match. It’s well written with a great storyline. There’s action, adventure, and sass. It’s a page turner that’s a definite must read.
Milly Taidens Crystal Kingdom Warrior King the sixth book about the Kings in the Crystal Kingdoms. This King is a true warrior of warriors and bring to life the world inside of his mountain. Revealing through the fights and wars of learning the painful truth of their past and what it will take to move into the future. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and waiting with the thrill of enjoyment for the last and final seventh book of this series.

This story is great.
Lilah is someone who would help you, stand up for you.
Ferrus, never thought he meet his mate, and oh boy, the mate he got.
Storyline is wonderful. Characters are awesome.
Misogynist A$$holes Need Not Apply
Lilah McClure, and her cousins Daphne and Wren and her mate Xenon are crossing mountains to get to a mystical place, called the Island of the Standing Stones, on the other side that COULD take them back to Earth. Kappies, who are the minions of a evil dark fae, named Luzzeh Full, follow them up the mountain. The Kappies have attacked them before so the group tries to hide in a cave, but are taken captive by the mountain fae, the Citogen. As a lawyer, Lilah feels certain she can negotiate their freedom – until she finds out that as a WOMAN she’s not allowed to speak to the king!
Ferrus is the prince of the Citogen, (but don’t tell Lilah) fae who live in a volcanic mountain, with the power to manipulate rock and metal. As soon as Ferrus sees Lilah he and his inner dragon know she’s theirs, but with the laws the way they are, he can’t let anyone know. If he does, she could be killed. He has to convince his father to reverse the law banning mates, and his second in command seems to have his sights on his position.
If you haven’t read the previous books in this series, this book won’t make as much sense. This is book six of The Crystal Kingdom series.
Holey Hottness. This book will make you ware oven mitts to hold this book. Because it is SIZZLING HOT. Loved it Absolutely Amazing.

Oh my goodness, The Warrior King by Milly Taiden was so much better then I anticipated. I was kept on the edge of my seat as I read this fast paced book that consumed me. This is a must read for all book lovers.
Lilah & Ferrus
Lilah and her two cousins end up in The Crystal Kingdom. How could people live like this? They were used to women having some freedom and living their own lives. While here the women were treated just the opposite. How can they live like this?
Lilah doesn’t have much experience with men and most of it not good. When she meets Ferrus, one of the controlling men or not, she is more than attracted. As is Ferrus. The two are meant to be together and the steam is amazing. But Ferrus has a connection to the controlling government. Can she live with it or help change it.
Not gonna be that easy. There are plenty of enemies, dangers, and surprises. How will it all end up?
Book 6 in in Crystal Kingdom series is another great one! Lilah and Ferrus has quite an intriguing story! Lots of action, sass, adventure and steamy chemistry! Very enjoyable! Highly recommend

Ferrus and his warriors may be big and tough and stuff but they are about to become enlightened as to just how strong the women in their lives are. No more hiding behind sheets, no more out of sight out of mind, no more being quiet and in the shadows. Earth woman, alpha female Lilah is going to wake them all with a great big dose of reality in this fabulous tale. I was shouting ROCK ON! Loudly throughout this wonderful story.
Book 6 Warrior King in (New Worlds) The Crystal Kingdom by Milly Taiden
Lilah is a cousin of the original women in the series, they all came to see there cousin but I I’ve got to admit I was a fan of her at start especially with her moaning about her cousin happiness but you do warm to her especially after finding out her mother compared her to her cousins and messed with her head. When Lilah and her cousins are on their way home they are captured and held by an enemy of the Crystal Kingdom that outlawed mating and women are treated like slaves. So Lilah starts a revolution and attracts the attention of the Prince who when he meets Lilah knows she’s his mate and thankfully doesn’t agree with his father the king about no mating and helps free her and his people.
Love MT paranormal stories and especially PDA series which is how I started with MT
Once again Milly Taiden has worked her magic with this latest addition to The Crystal Kingdom series. You will be entertained and enchanted with the character work and the story line.
