The truce between the vampires and the shifters is long over. So when the two factions stumble upon a lost fae warrior who has no idea what she is, all hell breaks loose. Charity hasn’t had it easy. Growing up in a bad part of Chicago, left by her mother at sixteen, she’s a survivor. So when she gets a scholarship to a good college out in California, she thinks all her dreams have come true.… have come true.
Instead she falls head first into a nightmare.
At a posh party she doesn’t belong, she gets the shock of her life: vampires and shifters are real! Magic is real. And she is anything but a mundane poor kid just trying to make it.
Warrior runs in her blood. If only she knew how to use it.
Suddenly she is trapped between two magical super powers – a cunning elder vampire who wishes to use her for her blood ties and maybe tie her to the bed, and a sexy alpha shifter who will protect her at all costs.
Her life of surviving could’ve never prepared her for this. And if she doesn’t learn to harness the fae magic running through her blood, she’ll be imprisoned forever.

I definitely loved the book. I can’t wait to read the next one! I love this whole series. Each book is exhilarating. They’re full of action and adventure with the romance being a plus.
This book brings a new light to serie, like all the others heroines- Reagan and Penny – Charity has to learn her way through the magical world. From the very beginning the narrative goes fast paced giving few time for the reader to breath and recover from all the traps and fights.
Admittedly, I had a love-hate relationship with Warrior Fae Trapped. The plot itself wasn’t too unique, but it was unique in the romance department. I’m still trying to determine if that’s a good or bad thing.
Charity, a broke college student, somehow finds herself targeted by vamps because of her indescribable, delicious smell. The wolves who protect the humans from magic users and from finding out the truth about magic also notice her just as she’s being lured into a party full of vampires with dark plans. They warn her away from the party, but Charity, being the stubborn and argumentative heroine she is, decides to go to the party anyway. Big mistake. Terrible things happen and she becomes stuck with a pack of wolves and their bad boy, reject, temperamental alpha named Devon.
I actually liked the pacing of Charity and Devon’s relationship. It was natural and it wasn’t at the forefront of the entire book. As a reader I got to watch them form this super sweet friendship. There was no pressure from sex, hardly any flirting, the relationship just was. Devon was by no means a ‘tender’ character, but Charity easily brought that out of him. By the time things progressed, it just felt right. There was no feeling of it being rushed. The two of them were the perfect match!
The most irritated I got at the book was when Yasmine was added to the pack. This specific character didn’t add to nor take away from the plot. She was just there to create momentary drama and tension. She could’ve been left out all together and I wouldn’t have felt any different. I do admit things felt unfinished with her by the end though, so in the next book I’m hoping that she doesn’t stick around for too long.
Overall I think this was a good read, and I hope to get more interaction with my favorite character in the book: Andy!
Cool NA fae book. I love so much discovering new series like this one! 🙂
The start was your typical pretty social girl takes on dresses in rags non social girl for fun. I thought if that was how it was going to be then I have read plenty of those stories and didn’t feel like another. Then it got interesting. A very good paranormal adventure with some romance thrown in.
DDVN Rocks it once again
Oh, to be back in this world is awesome!!! I can’t get enough. This world makes me think…”What if…” and not the bad kind of what ifs, but the Hell yeah kind. I was sick when I was little, with a high fever that lasted for DAYS!!! They (the Drs) never figured out why, but it left me with motor control difficulties. But WHAT IF… it actually left me with a latent power that will awaken one day. That day better come soon, cuz I’m not getting any younger here. (Just fun to think about).
This is what K. F. Breene’s books do (to me anyway). They inspire me to live to my fullest potential, even if it’s not supernatural or otherworldly. They take me away from my everyday burdens, fears and let me soar, in this case into a ball of pure sunlight that even the nastiest of them can’t penetrate.
Many thanks to Ms. Breene for making my days a little brighter and lighter, easier to bear. <3 (less)
Imagine monsters of all kinds are real & worst of all you could be the biggest baddest beastie of them all . Charity thought she was just going to a party, one she literally got dragged unwilling to but her whole life changed at that part , The super sexy people with the large incisors were vampires & the furry large dogs, shifters , in fairness Charity takes most of it in her stride & the little internal talks shes has with herself will make you laugh out loud at times , this book is full of drama , action & laughter , clear your day as its a book you won’t be able to put down , i can’t wait for the next in this series & i hope i’m not waiting too long
Love this book! Charity is what we needed next in our world. I can not wait to see how her story unfolds. Was also nice to see some friends come around from the other books. I didn’t know if they was going to make a appearance so soon.
Really enjoyed this book. It has a great storyline and little cameos from the other related books that keep fans of the series happy but don’t affect the overall story. It’s all about the characters in this book and their story.
And its a very good story! I found it entertaining and exciting and the characters really relatable even though Charity annoyed the crap out of me at times with her rank stupidity :’) I very much look forward to the next installment in the series.
First things first, I am ecstatic to read another book set in the DDVN world and this was amazing. In a world filled with strong, snarky women, Charity holds her own. She comes off every bit as amazing as Reagan and Penny; she is resourceful, strong-willed, and totally kicks butt! Devon’s role as a prodigy, but still awfully young, alpha feels totally authentic as well. He makes a great foil to Charity.
I truly feel you could start DDVN with this book, or with Reagan’s books, or even with Penny’s books. They are all slowly coming together, but not in any way that whose series you start with will spoil the others for you. Having read all the others myself, I can see the threads of the storylines weaving together and it is a thing of beauty. This world K.F. Breene has created is so dynamic. Lots of authors write their books within a single created world, but I don’t think I have ever read ones where the characters from different books are so completely interconnected, but still separate. I don’t know how she keeps track of all the details so well!
If you’ve read the other DDVN books, you will love this! If you haven’t read the other DDVN books, this is a great place to start and, believe me, you will end up wanting to read all the others!
KF Breene did it again, she wrote yet another story that MUST be read. Breene did not disappoint with this book. The way this book is written you do not need to read the previous books before reading this one but I would recommend it simply because they are great. (start with “Born in Fire”) I am so glad to be going back to the “A Demon Days, Vampire Nights” world again.
In this book we are introduced to Charity, a new power player in the DDVN world and we re-meet Devon, an Alpha wolf under the Roger. There are also several new characters that you have no choice but to fall in love with (Andy) and some you wouldn’t mind stabbing in the eye (Yasmine).
This book had everything, laughter, sweetness, sadness, adventure, suspense, and a little hotness. I enjoyed learning about Charity as she started to learn about herself. I could picture myself with her as she grows into who she will become.
I can’t wait until the next book comes out so we can see what Charity finally becomes or what happens between her and Devon. Not to mention what becomes of Devon’s pack.
I’m an avid reader and nothing on my Kindle looked interesting after reading this book! Here we go back to the Demon Days Vampire Nights world from a new perspective. We get the shifters point of view, more of Roger, an out of touch Vlad, and more of the magic and creatures of the Realm. Our new heroine is Charity. She’s a tough girl from a poor abused background, trying to make a better life for herself. No spoilers here, but she doesn’t realize what she is and gets sucked into a world she never dreamed existed. KF Breene’s writing is tight, intense, and layered with humor. She delivers descriptive nuggets like “Sam smelled like a perfume factory after an earthquake.” and “ . . . she was already at Code Red in the burden department.” The story drug me in and when it spit me out at the end, I was left with a major book hangover! Can’t wait for the next one.
I loved being able to jump back into the DDVN world with a whole new crew! This story follows Charity who is magical but doesn’t know it yet. I loved these new characters. I enjoyed following along on this adventure. I was pulled into the story & found myself yelling at the people and laughing as if I were right there with them. The build up of action is good. I’m dying to find out what happens next!
I’m absolutely thrilled there are more twists and turns in the DDVN world K.F. Breene has created and the conflict is brewing hotter than ever. I know Breene has said you can read any of her Demon Days Vampire Nights trilogies in any order, but I do recommend reading the Fire books first, then the Mages, and finish with Warrior Fae. I really do not know how she does it. She has written so many wonderful, strong, spunky female leads that I don’t know how she keeps them all straight. Especially with Reagan and her over-the top boisterousness, but Charity is possibly my new favorite one of them all.
I cringed a bit at her name choice considering her background, but her character development is great. And her chemistry with Devon is arresting. I love how they feed off of each other’s power and continually challenge each other.
The shifter pack reminds me of her pack she created in the Darkness series which I also loved. And the ending where you see a huge gathering of most the characters in the world.
The beginning was the slowest for me to get in to of any of the books in this world which worried me at first. It took me about 45% of the book to realize I was really hooked. Once you are, you absolutely cannot put the book down till you know how it’s ended. This one is a lot of a cliffhanger, especially with turmoil brewing from the other books in the world, but I love how she’s worked her publishing so you only have a month or so to wait for the next one. She nailed the Warrior part, but I’m still fuzzy a bit about her tie-in to the Fae piece.
The more I think about it, there are more than a few bits that should cause me to rate this lower, but the last half really turned it around for me, and hooked me into this new trilogy. I truly love the characters Charity and Devon have become. I above all cannot wait for the pinnacle of the conflict in this world and see how it plays out.
absolutely loved it. a definite must read. can’t wait to read the next book and find out what will happen next for Charity.
Wow! Just wow. “Warrior Fae: Trapped” is an amazing new addition to the Demon Days, Vampire Nights series. As the first in this set, it can definitely be enjoyed by those that have never read a DDVN book as well as those that have loved any or all of the DDVN series.
Meet Devon and Charity. Devon is the leader of a group of college age werewolves trying to prevent vampires from turning a bunch of kids into blood-thirsty newbie vampires. Charity is a hard-luck college student on a full scholarship who doesn’t know how special she is. It’s not until she’s threatened that she discovers she’s magical. Actually, she’s more than magical, she’s a warrior fae. As her secret emerges, even to her, everyone wants her. The werewolves want her for her special abilities that could aid their cause. The vampires want her for the bargaining power she could bring.
If you love books with strong women, hot men, snark, innuendo, twists, turns, and more action than one book should have, you will LOVE this book. Get yours today.
Utterly Fantastic!
Once again this amazing author dazzles us with her brilliant storytelling. We are thrown back into the DDVN world with all things supernatural. This story is action packed, full of suspense and lots of intrigue. The characters are spicy, sexy and full of life. I love all of their unique personalities and their interactions with each other. KF knows how to write worlds that you can picture in your minds clearly and you feel like you live next door to her characters.
I can’t wait to see where this story goes. Highly recommend.
Warrior Fae Trapped is another layer in the DDVN universe. This book focuses on a pack of shifters and a very unique girl that finds herself in a world of trouble. Charity is a fantastic, strong female lead that quickly evolves from damsel in distress to warrior princess. I enjoyed the new depth of characters we’ve just had glimpses of in the other DDVN books, and I can’t wait to see how this all shakes out in the next book!
I love seeing into other angles of the DDVN world. In this book we meet new characters, but we also get to see more of Roger. I love getting to know this new pack and can’t wait to read the next book. I’m off to get the audible version so I can listen too!
This new book in the DDVN series has me so excited for what’s to come. The storyline was great and really keeps you interested throughout. The writing is, as always, very good. I was a little thrown off by the 3rd person switch from the other books but after getting further into the book I didn’t even notice.
Charity is my kind of girl. She’s not as crazy as Reagan but she has a fierce attitude and some sarcastic wittiness to her. I loved it. I loved how she challenged Devon. I think that was one of my favorite things about them. I also love her magic. It’s new and different than we’ve seen and pretty freaking cool.
I loved Devon and his pack. Especially Andy and Macy. They made for some comical and endearing moments.
I was also super excited to see Steve. I love him! And I was beyond thrilled when Reagan and Penny showed up for their brief part of the story.
My favorite part of the book was the battle towards the end. I couldn’t slow down my page turning.
This was a great addition to the DDVN world and I am really excited about the next books.
