From New York Times bestselling author, Samantha Towle, comes a new standalone romantic comedy.Vaughn West, Hollywood heartthrob, has been at the top of his game for years. He thinks he’s untouchable—until a betrayal brings him spiraling down. Now, everyone pities him, and if there’s one thing Vaughn hates, it’s pity. After a few months of working his way through every available actress, pop … his way through every available actress, pop star, model, and waitress in California, Vaughn needs to get his life back on track and focus on what he does best—making hit movies.
Charlotte Michaels is in love. Just not with one person.
Louis Vuitton…
Christian Dior…
Valentino…
Gucci…
And the list goes on.
Sadly, Charly’s limited bank account doesn’t allow her those luxuries, and the closest she gets are lucky finds in charity shops and working closely with some of those names in her job as a wardrobe assistant.
Now, Charly has landed the mother of all jobs—working on the new Vaughn West movie. Excited doesn’t even cut it.
Only things don’t go as planned, and it turns out that Vaughn is actually a jerk. A hot jerk, but a jerk nonetheless.
So, why do their clothes keep falling off whenever they’re around each other? And why can’t Charly keep her mind in the closet and off Vaughn?
Getting mixed up with a smart-mouthed, fashion-obsessed wardrobe assistant is the last thing Vaughn needs.
Getting mixed up with an arrogant, self-centered, obnoxious, jumped-up actor who has a lack of respect for fashion is the last thing Charly needs.
Things are about to get hot, dirty, and messy in Hollywood. Very messy. Especially if Charly’s closely guarded secret falls out of her closet.

What would you do if you got the chance to work for you celebrity crush? Would you be cool and professional about it or would you make a fool of yourself? Well, sadly for Charlotte Michaels (or Charly like her friends call her), she went for scenario two. She not only embarrassed herself by dancing in front of her Hollywood crush Vaughn West, she may have stabbed him with a pin too in a very delicate body part but it was an accident!! She swears!! The good news is that she wasn’t fired but now friendly Vaughn is gone and distrustful Vaughn is present. But luckily after some time and some entertaining banter between them, Vaughn is getting friendlier again and the fact that there is some serious chemistry between them helps too. But what starts as just sex is soon changing into something more. But both are wondering if a relationship would be possible. Vaughn is careful because in the past he got hurt by his (ex-)girlfriend and his (ex-)best friend. Can he trust Charly with his heart? And Charly is scared too because she has kept a big secret from Vaughn, will he understand why she did it? Can these two lonely people give love a chance or not?
‘Wardrobe malfunction’ was an entertaining and light story. It was very easy to read and just like in some of Samantha Towle’s other books, I enjoyed the humour in this one very much. It’s just my kind of fun. You get both POV’s in the story. The banter between the main characters were interesting and fun. Charly was a very lovely character, her difficult childhood made that she wasn’t very familiar with hugs and love and that her heart was a bit guarded. It was so wonderful to see how Vaughn and his family showed her how it felt to belong to a loving family. I especially loved Vaughn’s gran, she was one special and adventures lady! She was one of a kind.
Vaughn may be a famous actor but he was a good guy and thanks to his family he was also down to earth. Although I had my guesses about Charly’s secret, I was still a bit surprised by it. I love that in a story. There were some hot sex scenes in the story.
This is a good story. I’m glad that I read it.
This is my first time reading a book by Samantha Towle, I am so happy that I took a chance and read this book. I am now a fan, and will go back and read more stories by Ms. Towle.
This was possibly the cutest, wittiest, and most charming book I have read in a while. This was a deliciously little treat. Vaughn and Charly have a fiery connection that lead them on a captivating, and endearing journey. I enjoyed every single moment of this story. I honestly did not want it to end.
Great Story!
What’s Not to love about this.
Sexy actor in the prime of his career recently cheated on by his girlfriend with his co-star actor and best friend, that right there had me cheering in Vaughns corner from the beginning hoping he finds real love.
And then there’s Charlie, Vaughns newly appointed wardrobe assistant in his new film, a woman with a sad back story but a sassy take no crap kind of girl.
Two great characters that were destined to be together despite their awkward or should I say painful first meet that leads to Charlie sticking a pin somewhere very private.
I laughed often, I swooned, the two of them were like rabbits so the hotness was also there too.
Wardrobe malfunction is a great light-hearted recommended rom-com.
Told in first person dual pov leading to hea.
I purchased in KU then listened in audible, loved the dual male & female narration.
Pins and Vaughn are EVERYTHING!!!!
I would give this book 6 stars if I could. I am a huge fan of Samantha’s writing and I think this is her best book to date. Plenty of witty dialogue, well developed characters, swoon worthy moments, LOL moments and a dash of alpha hotness makes this a perfect read. Highly recommend this book
I loved absolutely everything about this book, I have a read quite a few of Samantha Towles novels and they were all fantastic, but there was just something about this book, it would have to be one of my favourites of hers. I do love a good rom/com they are what started me reading and Wardrobe Malfunction is one of the best I have read.
I laughed a lot, I cried, I loved the storyline, especially with an actor as the hero and I just really enjoyed everything.
Charly was such an exciting character to read, she wasn’t perfect, she had secrets, she had a crap life but she had dreams and she followed them, right into the path of Vaughn, and their relationship doesn’t start exactly as one would hope when meeting the hot actor who has played pretty much every character in her fantasies to the point she pretty much injures him the first time she meets him.
I loved Vaughn straight away, he was arrogant but it wasn’t an off putting arrogant it was a funny arrogant and that just made me laugh so much, again Vaughn didn’t have a very good start in the book and he really lost it for a while, but he came back firing and straight into a twerking Charly. He really seemed down to earth and he was quite sweet even though he didn’t come across like that, but I loved him
I love grandma Pheobe, I think when I read books I love the grandparent characters as much as I love kids, and grandma was no exception, she made me laugh every time she was around especially with her cocktails
I loved this story, I didn’t want to put it down and just got me real excited about reading again. If there is one book you have to read this year, then this must be the book. I couldn’t recommend this book enough never mind 5 stars this baby deserves 100 stars.
Thank you so much Samantha Towle for providing me with an early copy, I get really excited to receive an Arc from an author I have been a fan of for quite a while and get an opportunity to sign up for an arc. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This book is so cute, I really enjoyed it. There were a couple giggle worthy moments too. I thought Vaughn and Charley were not only great together, they were also smokin’ hot. There was a lot of hotness everywhere, by bother parties. It was mentioned in the book, a lot. Like to the point I was almost like we get it, they’re hot. Lucky them. But anywho, I liked it and loved the epilogue. I’m a sucker for a great epilogue.
