LA Boruff is an amazing author with a skill for creating rich and engaging words, you should definitely check this one out!
Supernatural RH has never seen such a real kick-ass heroine! 5 Star read!
I’m in love with this book! I can’t reveal too much for they might be spoilers. I look forward to reading the next book. The characters, the plot, everything about it is amazing. The story wasn’t rushed. The reader will really be able to see the development and growth of the characters. The setting was clearly defined. The reader will be able to picture the scenes as they were very well-written. It was a mistake not to prepare a fan beforehand. The readers might even want to go to the North Pole after reading. I’m totally recommending this book.
I found this book very relatable to me as a person. I love reading books about people who seem like people and aren’t just living the dream.
This is an interesting take on a vampire novel. I love that L.A. took her own take on it and rolled along.
I was hooked from the beginning and didnt want to stop reading.
I was hooked from the very beginning of the book. I love the suspense that goes throughout the book. Also who doesn’t love dragons, vampires, and some romance. I loved the book and definitely think it’s a must read for anyone. But that is my opinion.
I’ve been wanting to read this series for a long time. It’s always been on my to-read list on my Kindle. But with the new release, I had to read it! So I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy from LA Boruff. I didn’t know what to expect but I did like it. This is my first series and first read from LA Boruff. But other readers give her high praise. There are some times in this book where I didn’t really connect with Riley or men. I personally need more background, more connections, between the characters in order for me to really fall in love with them as a couple. So most times, I don’t like them until I’m a few books in. I can’t wait to read the next installment!
Overall: 4/5
I received an ARC copy for an honest review.
This is a unique take on the paranormal. The storyline is filled with varying paranormal entities lending a more mysterious air. Riley is a resilient, steadfast female lead character that is surrounded by strong male characters. There is tons of action spread throughout and the writing style drew me in quickly.
I just adored this book, read it all in one sitting. Once I started reading I could not put it down.
Wonderful read. I love the strong female lead character.
I have to say, this went places I was not expecting, and I liked it all the better for that, and enjoyed the sprinklings of humor amidst all the serious. I honestly don’t know what to say without giving anything away.
But, check it out for yourself!

I am blown away!! I literally did not know what to expect going in but I was so amazingly surprised. Riley comes home to find her family is gone without a trace. In the five years since she lost them she becomes this little BA chick that kicks butt first and takes names later. I love to finally have a plus sized beauty as a MC who struggles being comfortable in her skin. The men, are dreamy dreamy dreamy who love and worship her just as she is. Take this journey of magic and unknown with Riley, I promise you won’t regret it!!!
I really enjoyed this story, Riley is a bada** chick. Five years after her husband and children disappear she has done her best to feel safe and secure, honing her body with training in hand to hand and with weapons so she can’t be caught unaware again. She’s finally starting to get pas her grief and starts looking at her best friend in a different light, when all hell starts to break loose. Riley gets a few crazy and unbelievable revelations that rock her world, “Vampires” really do exist but they called Supay and they have special abilities. Surprise, surprise Riley is smack dab in the middle of it all.
This was a fantastic new take on vampires and the paranormal, the characters are great and the writing and world building are perfectly done. L.A. Boruff is an amazing and fun writer with a great imagination. I very much so look forward to book two!
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Book one in the brand new Unseen series and what a mind blowing start it is too. We meet Riley who has been dealing and training for the last five years after her family comes up missing. Things are fine until a stranger shows up one day pretending to be law enforcement though she knows he is not. This leads to her discovering some really strange secrets that just blow her mind (my too to be honest) thinking to Gods, magic, supernaturals, and so much more. Another surprise visitor just makes things even crazier and I was hooked. This is some incredible world building mixed in with some great characters, and a large chunk of fantasy that creates a story that you really will not want ot put down once you get started. I am so looking forward to where this whole thing is going next. If you like magic, Gods, paranormal, and reverse harem romance then you should really try this one. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Amazing new take on vampires, shapeshifters and all supernaturals. I loved that this book is different to anything I’ve read recently. You get it all action, steam, drama and great characters. Riley is an awesome MC strong, smart, interesting, also compelling and relatable. Elias and Anthony are awesome too, perfect counterparts for Riley. I can’t wait to see what else will happen in book 2.
Vampires, shapeshifters, fae and dragons oh my! 😉
And that is the only spoilers I’m going to give you!
This book was so very awesome that I was sad when I got to the end because I didn’t want to leave the world I was visiting. This book had so many twists and turns that I was literally kept on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading it. This was the first time reading anything by L.A. Boruff and I have to say she’s awesome at creating her amazing kick butt characters and weaving her realities that they all feel so real. I loved this book and I look forward to reading more from L.A. Boruff in the future.
So yes I most definitely recommend this book because it’s AMAZING and other people need to read it!!
I had this book in my kindle for a while and now decided to read it for a reading challenge and wow… why did I wait so much??? Thanks God I have books two and three also and I am binge reading them right now!!
I really enjoyed reading this book. The storyline grabbed me from the beginning and kept me hooked throughout. I didn’t want to put this book down. It’s well written with well developed characters. I recommend reading.

War of Fangs is book one of The Unseen War series and an interesting read and a great intro to the series. This emotional read is filled with heartbreak, drama, betrayal, and unexpected supernatural twists. I felt for Riley and everything she went through and I look forward to seeing where the rest of this series takes us.
I realized I’d had this on my kindle for a while but decided to give it a chance after seeing it again following its recent rebranding and it did not disappoint. I really enjoyed how fast the story sucked me in and kept my attention until the very end. The twists were exciting, the storyline flowed well, and the guys were hot and attentive. Riley also faced some difficult situations and I really appreciated the way the author showed her struggling with mixed feelings and how she ultimately handled them. If you want a quick read with some substance, give this a try!
A fantastic read that combines action with mythology – and not your usual one. So many unexpected twists that had me on the edge of my sofa. A very promising start to an exciting and fast-paced reverse harem series.
