TrevorAfter getting dumped, the last thing I need is to take on my advisor’s niece as a new roommate. For starters, she’s hot. Like, sexy librarian hot. But I need my advisor’s recommendation for a job after graduation, so I’m going to keep my dirty little fantasies to myself… and stay far away from my sexy little roomie.NatalieI’m done with men. After my last dating disaster, I can’t afford to … done with men. After my last dating disaster, I can’t afford to get derailed again. So when my aunt claims to have found me the perfect roommate, I’m willing to give it a shot. He’s one of my aunt’s best students, so how distracting could he be?
Then Trevor opens the door to my new apartment, muscled, shirtless, tattooed, and so… arrogant. How can one guy be such a dick? He’s bossy, and annoying…and scorching hot.
As the battle lines get drawn, they’re each determined to ignore, or annoy, the other. Who will end up on top?

Trevor is an intelligent, dedicated, hardworking, college student with his eyes on the prize. His focus to secure a successful future, leads to the seemingly abrupt disintegration of his two year relationship. Natalie is leaving behind betrayal and heartbreak, embracing a fresh start, with renewed emphasis on her education at a new school. Trevor needs a replacement roommate, his professor’s niece needs a place to stay, sounds ideal…right?
From the moment the new roommates meet, the physical attraction is undeniable. However Trevor isn’t looking for anyone after his recent breakup. Natalie knows that her unbelievably hot, handsome, and sexy roomie is trouble. The book combines attraction, antagonism, humour and chemistry. This quick read still managed to imbue heart into a story that has lots of heat. I wouldn’t mind revisiting these characters to see how their futures unfold together.
This is Trevor’s story, Talia’s overprotective brother we met in the previous book.
I really enjoyed Trevor and Natalie’s story. He really found his match in Natalie! It was kind of hilarious to see these two trying to share an apartment. They do everything to push each other’s buttons. Both out of a bad relationship, they are hesitant to open up. Trevor is heartbroken and Natalie has some serious trust issues. I laughed hard every time Trevor was shamelessly teasing Natalie! There are some bumps on their story and life comes between them.
This is a fast-paced sizzling hot romance, with its sweet moments, that I really liked! I believe you would too 😉
We get to read Trevor’s story in this book. Trevor’s girlfriend dumps him and moves out leaving him looking for a new roommate. His advisor has the perfect solution, her niece. The problem is, she’s hot and Trevor needs his advisor’s recommendations, so he has to keep his hands off. Unfortunately that’s easier said than done.
This is a quick fun read!
Loved this one. Having had come across Trevor in the last book, I really did dislike his character feeling him to be too overpowering and alpha male for his sister…. In this book he becomes more “human” and I could relate to him more. Couldn’t put this book down, loved it from start to finish.

M. Malone and Nana Malone have done it again! I loved both Wicked and Wild and with Wanton they have continued their steamy sorytelling mixed with a little bit of fun.
Trevor needs his advisor’s recommendation for the job he wants, so he’ll do anything to stay on her good side. Even becoming roommates with her niece, Natalie. He just didn’t expect to have a hot librarian type living under the same roof.
Natalie has sworn off men and is in need of a new roommate. Her aunt’s best student should be the perfect match. She’s not ready for the tattooed bad boy who opens the door of her new apartment.
It’s a battle of the roommates Malone style. This entire series is full of quick summer reads that are perfect to take on vacation, or to cuddle up with on a staycation. I do have to say that I think Wanton was my favorite of the three, Trevor’s tattooed muscles… yum!
Another great story by the Malone sisters. The sisters know how to bring a new romance into each one of their stories. This one is no different.
Trevor and Natalie are a wonderful couple of characters.
This is the final book in this series. You will want to read Wicked and Wild first.
In the final book of the three, we find Trevor meeting his match when he has Natalie for a roommate. It is not what he wants, but he makes it work for his professor. He finds that he is drawn to her and finally they can not hide their attraction, even though they do try.
I say just get all three books and enjoy them all. You will not be disappointed.
This steamy YA story is all that you expect from this author. Interesting and complex characters, and a story all their own. If you haven’t ready all the books in this series, I suggest you do so.
Trevor and Natalie are both college students who haven’t been very successful in love. And now they have to both move on – but sharing an apartment wasn’t on their radar until they did. Of course you know what happens but what makes this book is their reaction to each other! Enjoy!
I received an ARC from the author for an honest and unbiased review. No compensation was promised or received for this review.
Wanton is an enjoyable story about Trevor and Natalie. Neither wanted another relationship at the moment and thought they were safe from each other, how wrong they were. The chemistry and things they have in common surprise them. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters and watching them fight what will eventually happen. This was a fun and quick hot read.
Trevor was introduced in the last book as he is Talia’s older brother who unwittingly sets in motion his best friend and sister finally getting together. Unfortunately for Trevor his love life has crashed and burned without him even noticing until it is too late now he needs a roomie so he doesn’t lose his flat and in walks Natalie his College advisors niece, it will be fine right?! Both need to focus on their classes but unfortunately there is way to much sexual tension between them but with her past of boyfriends and his goals in life they have a lot of hurdles. You will fall in love with Trevor and Natalie, cringe at times due to their behavior as well as cheer, laugh hope and get frustrated while we see their story unfold.
I had hoped from the last book Wicked, I would get to meet the brother Trevor and it happened in this book!!!! I was so happy to get to know him better and see how he is. And I really love him, his book was so hot but so sweet at the same time. I really enjoyed this series and I will definitely look for more books to read by M.Malone and Nana Malone. – By Tina
Wanton is the story of Trevor and Natalie. I love how the premise of this book is that the couple start out as roommates and are thrown together by Natalie’s aunt who is all’s Trevor’s professor. The buildup to their romantic relationship is page turning and really had me hook, line and sinker to see if they would fall of the cliff or not. The chemistry from the beginning is palpable and their friendly banter that morons into more is great to read. There is of course a few drama elements which fit the story nicely and lead to a great ending that flowed nicely. Great and enjoyable read!
Whew! Smoking hot roommates romance that’s guaranteed to overheat your kindle!
Trevor needs a roommate and he needs to impress his advisor, whose niece is just moving to town and needs a place to stay. Natalie is a delectable bundle of temptation that he can’t afford to sample, but their thinly-veiled annoyance with each other masks an intense chemistry that makes it impossible for either of them to keep their distance.
These two are burning up the sheets even as they find that they’re surprisingly compatible as roommates, too. They still have a lot to work out about their divergent plans for the future as well as the baggage they each carry from previous failed relationships.
This is a light read that packs a huge punch, with wonderful characters and a snappy, witty writing style. This was a non-stop read for me, and I was completely captivated and thoroughly entertained. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This is a nice college aged romance about roommates to lovers. Trevor’s girlfriend walks out on him and leaves him in need of a roommate to afford the rent. In comes Natalie, the niece of his academic advisor. Talk about muddying the waters.
They are both attracted to each other but unsure how the other feels and skeptical about getting involved with anyone.
I was disappointed in Trevor when he let his co-worker continue to serve Natalie alcohol knowing she was hammered. But I guess that’s what a normal college guy would do. I just thought that he would have more respect for her. But he redeemed himself when he was there for her and her Aunt Patty during Uncle Sidney’s medical scare.
The book did leave me wondering how it worked out with them after graduation. They were planning a long distance romance, but those are rough on relationships and I’m curious how that works out. I also want to know if Cage and Talia ever told him about their relationship and what his response was.
The definition of ‘wanton’ is ‘deliberate, unprovoked; a sexually immodest or promiscuous woman,’ and even though this explanation doesn’t truly describe the main characters in M. Malone and Nana Malone newest release, what it does signify is the more than obvious attraction between Trevor Hamilton and Natalie Washington when they become ‘perfect’ roommates. But due to how their past relationships have turned out as well as the fact that Trevor has too much riding on a letter of recommendation from the very person who arranged his new living situation, he fights the chemistry between him and Natalie, and he works hard to remain far away from a line he doesn’t feel he can cross if he wants to protect his future.
Natalie Washington didn’t really know what she was in for when her aunt found Natalie a place to live, but what she’s left with is a roommate who is beyond attractive and a bit of an ass, but despite Trevor’s less than gentlemanly behavior, Natalie finds herself drawn to him, forming a connection that they can’t help but act upon even if the risk may cost them more than their hearts.
Wanton is a fun, light, and quick read, and even though it’s difficult to know everything there is to know about these two characters due to the length of their story, their witty banter exchanges and lustful interactions illustrate the fact that Trevor and Natalie might just be what each other needs and deserves, fulfilling their wanton desires.
4 Poison Apples
Wanton by The Malones a five-star read that will leave you wanting. This was such a great read, I loved it, The Malones have a great way of writing, they bounce of each other and create the most amazing characters like hot and tasty, dark and brooding Trevor Hamilton a man with more facets than a beautiful intense diamond. When faced with a dilemma what would you do? Chase your future or the girl of your dreams, as dreams don’t always last do they? And it would damage that future in the end, wouldn’t it? Natalie Washington has sworn off men so it wont matter if the new roomie is the hottest man she has seen will it? These two have a battle in their hands, and its one you won’t want to miss. This is a stand-alone, but we have met some of the other characters in Wicked and then Wild.
This book is part of a series but can definitely act as a stand-alone. Readers are introduced to Trevor who is Talia’s brother. Talia was the main character in Wild. What I thought was neat is that these books are going on simultaneously. So we get to see how Trevor felt while trying to make sure Talia was alright. I loved that they made sure to include elements of Talia’s story throughout. This book opens up with Trevor being blindsided by his girlfriend of two years. He needs a roommate quick and his mentor knows just the person. In walks Natalie. She has just broken up with her cheating boyfriend and is looking for a new start. Oh, the sparks fly immediately. Readers will be on pins and needles wondering if they will ever do the do. I loved the characters in this book. I think they were well developed despite how short the story was. I did feel like the ending was a little rushed but I loved how it turned out in the end. I hope we get more out of this series. I would love to see how these couples get along in the future, maybe a group trip. Hint, hint.
Computer student Trevor Hamilton is counting on his advisor to get him the dream gig of a lifetime in exchange for letting her niece live with him. Trevor knows he’s in trouble when Natalie shows up. Psychology student Natalie Washington transfers to a new school where her aunt finds her a place to stay. Natalie expects her new roommate to be a geeky computer nerd but Trevor is sexy as hell. Trevor has the hots for his sexy roommate Natalie but she’s off limits. Unfortunately Natalie is all Trevor wants and Natalie wants Trevor too. Too bad Natalie’s aunt doesn’t think it’s a good idea for Trevor and Natlie to be together. Is this the end for Trevor and Natalie?
M. Malone and Nana Malone deliver a fun, angsty and steamy story that will suck you in
Nice quick, steamy, insta-love story between Trevor (who we met in one of the other stand alones in this series) and his advisors’ niece Natalie. There were sparks from the get go with these two but they both fight it for a while, for their own reasons (that are more similar than they know). Trevor is Talia’s brother that we met in Wild, and I really liked him since we met him there, I was glad to see he got his own HEA. This is a quick fun dirty little read, easy to consume in one sitting and I enjoyed it and look forward to more from this author collaboration.
5 STAR Review by Jodi for Ruby Red Romance Review
I loved this story from start to finish. I think Trevor and Natalie might be my favorite couple of this series. I loved interaction between these two. M. and Nana have done an amazing job with these books and I loved each one.
Trevor, lord, who doesn’t love a hot geeky man. Trevor is smart and wants to make his way in the world. When is girlfriend of two years just leaves him, the last thing he wants is another relationship. When his professor asks for a favor, Trevor allows her niece to move in. When Natalie arrives at her new home, the last thing she expected was her roommate to be gorgeous. Or that they would have so much in common, including their attraction to each other. But lord, they try.
I loved every single second of this story. It was sweet, entertaining, and a little heartbreaking at times. This story was everything I wanted and more. Please check out Wanton!
